NON-CONTACTING MONITOR FOR BRIDGES AND CIVIL STRUCTURES
A system for monitoring the movement of objects, structures, models of structures, cables and the like provides for the acquisition of images with an optical sensing device such as a video camera fixedly mounted at a selected distance from the item studied, in which the images are arranged into frames divided into pixels which are characterized by an intensity reflected or emitted over a selected time interval, and a data processing system to calculate a physical displacement as function of time of the item being studied or a portion of the item being studied based on an output from the video camera, and in some embodiments the system visually distinguishes one or more locations in the frame to indicate a difference in the phase of motion for multiple objects appearing in the frame.
SEARCH APPARATUS, TRAINING APPARATUS, SEARCH METHOD, TRAINING METHOD, AND PROGRAM
A search apparatus for searching media data for a target region that matches query data includes a first feature extraction unit configured to extract a first feature vector from the query data using a first trained neural network; a second feature extraction unit configured to obtain a first region from the media data and extract a second feature vector from the first region using a second trained neural network; a localization unit configured to determine a candidate for the target region using a third trained neural network, based on the first feature vector, the second feature vector, and the first region or a location of the first region; and a control unit configured to repeat the operations of the second feature extraction unit and the localization unit until a predetermined condition is satisfied, by using the determined candidate for the target region as the first region to be used by the second feature extraction unit.
Information processing apparatus, information processing method, and information processing program
To efficiency search for an object associated with a sensed event, an information processing apparatus includes a sensor that analyzes a captured video and senses whether a predetermined event has occurred, a determining unit that determines a type of an object to be used as query information based on a type of the event in response to sensing of the event occurrence, and a generator that detects the object of the determined type from the video and generates the query information based on the detected object.
APPARATUS AND METHOD FOR VISUALIZING PERIODIC MOTIONS IN MECHANICAL COMPONENTS
A non-contacting system for visualizing and analyzing periodic movements in machinery includes at least one video acquisition device that acquires sampling data as a video comprising a plurality of video image frames and a data analysis system including processor and memory, and a computer program operating in the processor to filter movements depicted in the video to a specific frequency to normalize the phase in a plurality of objects in the video representing parts or components of the machinery, to compare the movements of such objects which in some embodiments provides for construction of a modified video to visually exaggerate the apparent movement of the at least one of the plurality of objects.
SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR PROCESS DESIGN AND ANALYSIS
Systems and methods for process design and analysis of processes that result in products or analytical information are provided. A hypergraph data store is maintained and comprises versions of each process. A version comprises a hypergraph with nodes, for stages of the process, and edges. Stages have parameterized resource inputs associated with stage input properties, and input specification limits. Stages have resource outputs with output properties and output specification limits. Edges link the outputs of nodes to the inputs of other nodes. A run data store is maintained with a plurality of process runs, each run identifying a process version, values for the inputs of nodes in the corresponding hypergraph, their input properties, resource outputs of the nodes, and obtained values of output properties of the resource outputs.
VIDEO FINGERPRINTING
A query fingerprint of a set of frames of video content captured at a client device may be generated. Multiple patches of the set of frames of video content may be selected and a value calculated for each of the selected multiple patches. The value for each patch may be indicated as a single bit along with an additional 1-bit value to indicate whether the patch value is weak. A database of known reference fingerprints may be queried using the generated query fingerprint. Matches between the query fingerprint and the reference fingerprints may be identified. Weak bits may be given reduced weight in identifying the match of fingerprints. Based on the matches, an identifier for the video content may be returned to the client device. The client device may use the received identifier to access the supplemental content.
METHOD, SYSTEM FOR PROVIDING SIGHT INFORMATION AND COMPUTER-READABLE RECORDING MEDIUM
A method, a system for providing sight information, and a computer-readable recording medium are provided. The system provides a server having a content database and a sight-and-image database. A geographic range can be determined in a server when the server receives a location data from a user device. After querying the sight-and-image database according to the geographic range, one or more sights associated with at least one geographic location within the geographic range can be obtained. Afterwards, the content database is queried for obtaining one or more contents that are associated with the one or more sights. When query results are provided to the user device, the one or more sights are marked within the geographic range on a map interface.
MULTIMEDIA FOCALIZATION
Example implementations are directed to methods and systems for individualized multimedia navigation and control including receiving metadata for a piece of digital content, where the metadata comprises a primary image and text that is used to describes the digital content; analyzing the primary image to detect one or more objects; selecting one or more secondary images corresponding to each detected object; and generating a data structure for the digital content comprising the one or more secondary images, where the digital content is described by a preferred secondary image.
Adding beauty products to augmented reality tutorials
Systems, methods, and computer-readable media for adding beauty products to tutorials are presented. Methods include accessing video data comprising images of a presenter creating a tutorial, the tutorial depicting the presenter applying a beauty product to a body part of the presenter. Methods further include processing the video data to identify changes to the body part of the presenter from an application of the beauty product, and responding to identifying changes to the body part of the presenter from the application of the beauty product by processing the video data to identify the beauty product. Methods further include retrieving information regarding the beauty product and causing presentation of information regarding the beauty product on a display device.
