INFLUENCING CONTENT OR ACCESS TO CONTENT
A method of influencing access to website, social media or mobile application content is described. The method comprises identifying the occurrence of an item of live or previously broadcast media content, identifying consumer Internet activity at the time of the occurrence of the item of media content, and identifying, from said detected consumer internet activity, a strategy to influence an Internet search function, social media site or mobile application to display selected information. Then, a subsequent broadcast of the item of media content is identified, and the identified strategy is triggered at the point the item occurs during the time of the identified subsequent broadcast.
AUTHORING TOOLS FOR SYNTHESIZING HYBRID SLIDE-CANVAS PRESENTATIONS
Presentation synthesis implementations are presented that generally build a slide presentation based on a hierarchical outline of textual presentation elements. These elements are spatially mapped onto a canvas that provides a master layout for slides. This mapping is accomplished use a set of canvas layout and size rules. Each presentation text element is illustrated by a slide that visually combines canvas text and in one version supporting content items (e.g., text, image, video, and so on). The slides are generated using both the set of canvas rules, and a set of slide style rules. A systematic traversal of the text elements determines the slide path. Slides are styled to highlight the current focus element as the presenter moves through the presentation and can be zoomed out to the canvas to give context during delivery.
Subtitle processing method, device and system and storage medium
A subtitle processing method, comprising: receiving an identification code of a video the uploaded by a client; searching and finding out whether a subtitle file corresponding to the identification code exists or not in a video subtitle mapping database; if the subtitle file corresponding to the identification code is found, returning the subtitle search result to the client; or if no subtitle file corresponding to the identification code is found, searching for another identification code located in the same aggregation result for the identification code from a video aggregation database; according to the other identification code, searching and finding out whether a subtitle file corresponding thereto exists or not in the video subtitle mapping database; and returning the subtitle search result to the client. The above-mentioned subtitle processing method can improve the hit rate when searching for subtitle file. In addition, also provided are a subtitle processing device, a subtitle processing system and a storage medium.
DISPLAY DEVICE AND METHOD FOR CONTROLLING SAME
The invention relates to a display device and method for controlling the same, the method mainly comprising: capturing a screen in which content is reproduced; extracting a first keyword from an image of the captured screen, generating reliability corresponding to the first keyword, when an input of selecting the first keyword is received from an external remote controller, transmitting the first keyword, feedback information and the reliability to an external server, receiving a second keyword, corrected reliability, and feedback information from the external server, and when an input of selecting the second keyword is received, displaying a screen corresponding to the second keyword.
METHODS AND SYSTEMS FOR PROVIDING SEARCHABLE MEDIA CONTENT AND FOR SEARCHING WITHIN MEDIA CONTENT
A method for providing searchable media content includes generating a text file that is representative of an instance of media content. The instance of media content comprises a first scene and a second scene. A first portion of the text file is representative of the first scene and a second portion of the text file is representative of the second scene. The method further includes indexing the first portion with the first scene and indexing the second portion with the second scene.
Method and device for adjusting playback progress of video file
Provided are a method and device for adjusting playback progress of a video file. The method includes: receiving text information to be searched; searching, in a caption file of the video file, for caption content matching the text information, wherein the caption file is acquired from the video file or generated according to the video file; and determining playback time point corresponding to the caption content according to the found caption content, and adjusting the playback progress of the video file according to the playback time point. According to the technical solution provided in the disclosure, accurate positioning of a clip which a user expects to replay is achieved, and the operation is simple and convenient.
SYSTEM AND METHOD OF VOCABULARY-INFORMED CATEGORIZATION OF ITEMS OF INTEREST INCLUDED WITHIN DIGITAL INFORMATION
Items of interest within digital information may be detected and associated with a label that provides context to the item of interest. The label may describe an item category of the item of interest. The knowledge base of item categories may be limited. Additional item categories may be learned by accessing sets of vocabulary that may relate to the known item categories.
METHOD FOR VIDEO INVESTIGATION
The invention provides a method for processing and analyzing forensic video data using a computer program, the method comprising the steps of recording the forensic video data; providing supplementary data related to the recorded video data, wherein the supplementary data may be provided from or input by a source external of the computer program, in particular a human, or wherein the supplementary data may be extracted from the forensic video data by the computer program in an initial analyzing step; analyzing the forensic video data by the computer program using the supplementary data; and displaying a part of the forensic video data, the displayed part being based on a result of the analyzing step.
Styling a query response based on a subject identified in the query
User experience parameters are applied in formatting results to a query for presentation. The user experience parameters correspond to at least one particular subject related to the query.
SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR INTERACTIVE SEARCHING OF TRANSCRIPTS AND ASSOCIATED AUDIO/VISUAL/TEXTUAL/OTHER DATA FILES
A system and method for processing digital multimedia files to provide searchable results includes the steps of converting a digital multimedia file to a plain text data format, annotating each word in the file with an indicator such as a time stamp to indicate where the word appears in the file, converting each indicator to an encoded indicator using characters that are not indexed by search software, indexing the converted, annotated file, storing the converted, annotated file and a file location of the converted, annotated file, receiving a query from a user's computer, and returning search results to the user's computer that include search snippets comprising unindexed portions of one or more files considered responsive to the query and the file location of those files.
