A hip pad is provided for decreasing a waist-to-hip ratio of a user and includes a generally elongated body having a hip portion and a thigh portion that are integrally formed with the generally elongated body. The hip pad also includes an interior surface of the hip portion that is contoured to an anatomical curvature of a hip region of the user. An interior surface of the thigh portion is contoured to the anatomical curvature of a thigh region of the user. A curved exterior surface of the hip portion is configured to decrease the waist-to-hip ratio of the user.
An Orthotic for Muscle Imbalance and Posture Correction and Lumbopelvic Support
There is provided an orthotic configured for muscle imbalance correction. The orthotic has a strapping configured for physically activating an undercompensating muscle group by physically pulling substantially in-line with muscle fibres of the undercompensating muscle group to assist muscle activation and physically deactivating an overcompensating muscle group by physically pulling and therefore compressing across muscle fibres of the overcompensating muscle group to provide muscle resistance. Examples of the undercompensating muscle group are at least one of the gluteus maximus, medius, and minimus, vastus medialis and vastus medialis oblique. Examples of the overcompensating muscle group are at least one of the tensor fascia latae and iliopsoas.
Compression Garments

The compression garment includes an elongated band formed into a loop that is configured to encircle the lower abdominal region of a wearer. The elongated band is composed of a compression material that applies an inward force on the wearer's lower abdominal region so as to restrain the wearer's body, providing a slimming effect. A non-compressive layer is circumferentially attached to the elongated band, wherein the non-compressive layer extends downwardly and below the lower end of the elongated band. The non-compressive layer includes a non-compression material and serves to provide additional coverage of the wearer's body when the compression garment is worn.
Power mesh panels for tummy-covering garments
Mesh fabric panels that provide a compressive force to a wearer's mid-section and tummy-covering garments equipped with the mesh fabric panels are disclosed. The mesh fabric panels can be formed of a material having a suitable rigidity for providing the compressive force. The mesh fabric panels include left and right panels adapted to be stitched or otherwise affixed to left and right front sections, respectively, of a garment such as a pant, a dress, a skirt, shorts, swimwear, or the like. Each of the left and right mesh fabric panels includes a seam side edge adapted to be affixed to a corresponding seam side of a tummy-covering garment, a fly side edge adapted to be affixed to a fly facing of the garment, a waist edge, and a bottom edge. The left and/or right mesh fabric panel may be a dual layer panel.
Apparatus for providing tension in garments and method of use
An apparatus, system and method for providing tension in garments for improving privacy control by the wearer. The apparatus incorporates materials having elastomeric properties which may be placed in proximity to a wearer's crotch during operation. The tension is directed to preventing, concealing and/or obfuscating the curvature or shape of private features of the wearer, such as a woman's labia, from visibility through the garment. The apparatus may include one or more components providing tension for privacy control. The apparatus may include angled seams to obfuscate a woman's private features.
Matter of manufacture of compression legging system and associated uses
