Systems and methods for a media guidance application that generates results in multiple languages for search queries. In particular, the media guidance application resolves multiple language barriers by taking automatic and manual user language settings and applying those settings to a variety of potential search results.

Various techniques are disclosed, including receiving at a multiplatform management system a natural language request from a computing device, determining an event type based on the natural language request, identifying a user-requested action based on data associated with a natural language processing platform in data communication with the multiplatform management system, selecting a cloud platform to perform the user-requested action, formatting data representing the user-requested action into a formatted user-requested action, and performing the action.

A computerized system automatically ensures that data from a data partner has been ethnically sourced. The system reviews websites associated with URLs provided by the data provider, and privacy policy data is extracted and captured. A keyword set is used to analyze the privacy terms of websites associated with the URLs. URLs associated with websites that ethically collect data are stored in a URL database, or the URLs are given a flag or score, such that these URLs need not be checked each time a new data partner identifies these URLs as the source of its data. The system may periodically re-check the URLs to ensure that no changes have been made to the corresponding website's data collection practices.

Implementations are directed to determining, based on a submitted query that is a compound query, that a set of multiple sub-queries are collectively an appropriate interpretation of the compound query. Those implementations are further directed to providing, in response to such a determination, a corresponding command for each of the sub-queries of the determined set. Each of the commands is to a corresponding agent (of one or more agents), and causes the agent to generate and provide corresponding responsive content. The method further includes generating an input sequence to a state decoder based on the fertilities. A total number of each slot token in the input sequence is based on a corresponding fertility. The method further includes encoding, by a state encoder, the input sequence to the state decoder, and decoding, by the state decoder, the encoded input sequence to generate a complete sequence of the dialog states.

Embodiments are provided that relate to a computer system, a computer program product, and a computer-implemented method for improving performance of a virtual dialog agent system employing an automated virtual dialog agent. Embodiments involve generating ground truth (GT) from a user's knowledge base, and leveraging the GT to evaluate how the virtual dialog agent performs with the GT. The evaluation measures quality of a multi-turn virtual dialog, and generates a remediation plan directed at an algorithmic improvement of the virtual dialog agent.
