OPTIMIZED REAL-TIME STREAMING GRAPH QUERIES IN A DISTRIBUTED DIGITAL SECURITY SYSTEM
An event query host can include one or more processors configured to process an event stream indicating events that occurred on one or more computing devices. The event stream comprises event data that is associated with occurrences of events on the one or more computing devices. The event query host can forward the event data to a first query engine and to a second query engine. The first query engine can determine, based on a set of query definitions, that the forwarded event data is associated with a first query to be executed by the first query engine, and so executes the first query instance associated with the first query. The second query engine can also determine, based on the set of query definitions, that the forwarded event data is associated with a second query to be executed by the second query engine, and so executes the second query instance associated with the second query.
Systems and methods for personalizing search engine recall and ranking using machine learning techniques
Systems and methods including one or more processors and one or more non-transitory storage devices storing computing instructions configured to run on the one or more processors and perform acts of: providing a search engine that includes, or communicates with, a recall personalization model configured to generate personalized recall sets of search results for users; receiving, at the search engine, a search query submitted by a user; generating, using the recall personalization module, a feature vector for the user that includes contextual features associated with the user; generating, using the recall personalization model, a simulated narrowing query that includes the search query submitted by the user and the feature vector; generating, using the search engine, a recall set of search results based, at least in part, on the simulated narrowing query. Other embodiments are disclosed herein.

Conjunctive filtering with embedding models
Described herein is a technique to facilitate conjunctive filtering for an embedding-based information retrieval system. Each item in a content collection is initially analyzed to identify its property values for some set of properties. For each item, its property values are encoded in the form of a vector, and concatenated with an item embedding for the item to derive an enhanced item embedding. When a query is received, a query embedding is generated. Any filtering parameters received with or as part of the query are encoded in the form of a vector, and the vector is concatenated with the query embedding to derive an enhanced query embedding. The enhanced query embedding is then used in a “k” approximate nearest neighbor search to identify items relevant to the query and having property values that satisfy the filtering parameters.
METHODS, SYSTEMS, AND MEDIA FOR PROVIDING SEARCH SUGGESTIONS BASED ON CONTENT RATINGS OF SEARCH RESULTS
Methods, systems, and media for providing search suggestions are provided. In accordance with some embodiments, the method comprises: receiving user input that includes a partial search query; identifying a group of candidate search suggestions; determining whether each candidate search suggestion is included on a list of search suggestions that are prohibited, wherein the list is generated by: receiving previously submitted search queries and search results; determining, for each of the search queries, a number of search results associated with a particular content rating; determining whether the number meets a threshold value; and in response to determining that the number does not meet the threshold value, inserting the search query to the list; generating a modified group of search suggestions by removing search suggestions that are on the list; and causing a subset of the modified group of search suggestions to be presented as the remaining portion of the search query.

SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR COMPRESSION-BASED SEARCH ENGINE
A system described herein may provide a technique for the compression of query terms and search data against which the query terms may be evaluated. The compression may be dynamic, in that a quantity of bits used to compress the search data and query terms may be based on a quantity of unique characters included in a given query term. The compression may further include reducing the volume of search data by compressing entire words, that do not include any of the unique characters of the query term, to one particular code.
