Optically Readable Codes in a Content Delivery System
A method, apparatus, and software are provided for using an optically-readable code such as a quick-response (QR) code. The optically-readable code may represent a uniform resource identifier (URI) including parameters that represent a query, such as a query for content and/or other data. The query results may be used to command a content consumption device to record or otherwise obtain an item of content. The optically-readable code may additionally or alternatively be determined based upon a status of the device, such as what content, or portion thereof, is currently being displayed, and/or what error condition is being experienced.
DIGITAL LABEL MANAGEMENT
Embodiments of the present disclosure provide a method for monitoring/tracking the lifecycle of a drug from build (e.g., as part of clinical trial development), to approval (e.g., regulatory), to in-market (e.g., distribution and safety information). The use of artificial intelligence (AI) and blockchain technology may enable the system to track the drug down to the prescription level and may support a digital label that can be updated as necessary based on such monitoring (e.g., that can be amended based on safety information detected while the drug is in market and warnings sent out upon amendment).
Dual input content processing method and device
A content code is defined containing user content, and a corresponding profile code defining user context information. The profile code may be scanned and stored temporarily in a user device or elsewhere. The user content can then be modified on the basis of the stored context information. In some cases the context code and profile code may be separate, so that a given profile code may be applied to diverse pieces of content, or may be combined. The stored context information may be undated or modified when particular events, such as re-scanning a code, occur. The codes may comprise binary codes, such that the profile code and the content code can be compared by a logical operation. Embodiments include a mechanism for presenting different notice information to different users on the basis of their profile codes, implementing a game such that the number of attempts are counted by refreshing the stored version of the profile code, and identifying cases where a list of ingredients stored in the context codes matches an ingredient corresponding to an allergy, intolerance or the like as specified in the profile code.
ENCODED IMAGE BASED MESSAGING SYSTEM
A system to provide users with a means for accessing media content directly, by performing operations that include: causing display of a media item within a graphical user interface at a client device, the graphical user interface including a set of graphical elements; receiving a selection of a graphical element from among the set of graphical elements within the graphical user interface; generating a reference to the media item based on the selection of the graphical element; encoding a matrix barcode with the reference to the media item; and generating a presentation of the media item that includes a display of the matrix barcode at a position within the media item.
WIRELESS NETWORK, SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR CONFIGURATION, OPERATION AND USE OF MOTORIZED, WHEELED AND STEERABLE PASSENGER-CARRYING CARTS FOR ENTERTAINMENT PURPOSES
A wireless network, systems and methods, wherein each passenger-carrying rideable vehicle deployed in the system includes: a modular construction consisting of a lightweight body driven by an electric-battery driven motor, and specially adapted for receiving a customizable ornamental body having the appearance and personality of a particular or an inanimate object; motorized and/or animated elements disposed beneath the animal character skin covering for enabling animal behaviors and/or expressions that promote a fun and entertaining ride experience; an audio-transducers mounted within the animal character body for playing music from smartphone applications and animated animal character body portions to provide a sense of realism and excitement as the electric entertainment vehicle is ridden through an amusement facility.

Matrix barcode having a plurality of colors and an infrared layer for conveying spatial information
A matrix barcode on a surface may comprise a plurality of colors and an infrared layer. The matrix barcode may be a fiducial marker for conveying spatial information. The conveyed spatial information may stem at least in part from the infrared layer.
SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR EVENT MANAGEMENT
Events may be managed by a variety of systems, processes, and techniques. In particular implementations, managing events may include receiving event data that is to be displayed on an end user device and generating a display format for the event data to be displayed. Managing events may also include receiving event data that is to be printed, generating a 2D barcode linking to the event data to be displayed, and generating a printer file including the event data to be printed and the 2D barcode. The printer file may be sent to printer that generates a sign including the event data to be printed and the 2D barcode. Managing event may additionally include receiving a request, based on the 2D barcode, for the event data to be displayed and generating a response containing the event data to be displayed.
Systems, methods, and apparatus for print release to an image device from a mobile computing device
A system includes a spool directory accessible by a mobile computing device and an imaging device. A user selects for imaging on the imaging device a file accessible by the mobile computing device. The mobile computing device saves the file on the spool directory with a unique name Upon the user accessing the imaging device for imaging, the imaging device generates a unique quick response code. The user captures the code with a camera of the mobile computing device and the code is used by the mobile computing device to rename the file on the spool directory. That the imaging device knows the quick response code, the imaging device accesses and prints the file on media for the user.
SMART TRIGGER INITIATED OR EXTENDED COLLABORATION PLATFORM
A real-time-communication (RTC) collaboration platform allows for customer-initiated and/or agent-initiated RTC collaboration sessions that may include rich media (voice, video, screen shares, annotations, drawings, document sharing and editing, etc.). The collaboration session may be initiated in various embodiments, by a smart trigger including one or more links that may be selected as a trigger. When the link(s) are selected session information may be transmitted or otherwise elected to target the session. In some embodiments, a combination of smart trigger devices may provide additional benefits, such as restricting the initiation of a session to a location where the NFC tag is present. Although individual examples provided herein describe the smart trigger as a QR code, an NFC tag, and/or a link on a web page, smart triggers of any type may be used to initiate a communication session as described herein. A smart trigger may also be used to extend the collaboration session to a new device.
