Configurable sharing of user information
Methods, systems, and apparatus, including computer programs encoded on a computer storage medium, for sharing information. The methods, systems, and apparatus include actions of receiving user information entered by a user through a user interface and generating a user profile based at least on the user information. Additional actions include receiving an identification of a particular storage provider location from the user through the user interface, storing the user profile at the particular storage provider location, and receiving privacy settings from the user. Additional actions include receiving a request from the user to access a network resource associated with a particular user information consumer. Further actions include obtaining the user profile from the particular storage provider location, generating a user information collection including at least a portion of the user information from the user profile, and providing the generated user information collection to the particular user information consumer.
SECURE PLATFORM FOR THE DISSEMINATION OF DATA
A method including receiving, at a data distribution platform, a selection of a data package comprising a high fidelity data package. The method also includes filtering, automatically by a filtering application of the data distribution platform, the high fidelity data package to form a marketing data package. Filtering includes removing sufficient data from the high fidelity data package such that the marketing data package is a marketing data package. The method also includes publishing the marketing data package within the data distribution platform.
SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR CONTEXTUAL SERVICES ACROSS PLATFORMS BASED ON SELECTIVELY SHARED INFORMATION
A system may store a first merchant identifier in response to a registration of a first merchant and a user identifier in response to a registration of a user. The system may also store an access permission to control access by the first merchant to a first context. The access permission may be configured for retrieval by a query including at least one of the user identifier or the first merchant identifier. The system may return the first context in response to a first application programming interface (API) call and in response to the access permission authorizing access to the first context.
Data management method and registration method for an anonymous data sharing system, as well as data manager and anonymous data sharing system
The invention is a data management method for an anonymous data sharing system, comprising the steps of receiving a data supply from a data source (10), the data supply comprising an anonymous data source identifier, an entity identifier encrypted with the private encryption key of the data source (10), and data associated with the entity. The method further comprises mapping the encrypted entity identifier to a common anonymous entity identifier by applying a classifier key associated with the data source identifier in such a manner that for every entity identifier the following applies: by encrypting said entity identifier with the private encryption key of any data source (10) and by mapping it using the classifier key associated with the identifier of the data source, the same common anonymous entity identifier is obtained, wherein the data associated with the entity are stored in a database (12) in a manner that said data are assigned to the common anonymous identifier. The invention also relates to a registration method, to a data manager, and to an anonymous data sharing system comprising same.
POST-COMPLETION ACTION MANAGEMENT IN ONLINE DOCUMENT SYSTEM
A system and a method are disclosed for receiving a set of rules associated with a document type from a supplier entity. Each rule identifies a set of conditions and a set of actions to be taken after a document of a document type is signed if the set of conditions is satisfied. When a supplier entity sends a document of the document type to a signing entity and the signing entity provides an electronic signature, the system determines whether conditions of rules associated with the document type are satisfied. For each rule that is satisfied, the system performs actions identified by the rule.
WATERMARK SECURITY
Apparatuses, methods, systems, and program products are disclosed for watermark security. An apparatus includes a watermark module configured to generate a digital watermark to be presented as part of a graphical interface based on data presented on the graphical interface. A digital watermark verifies an authenticity of data to be presented in a graphical interface. An apparatus includes a presentation module configured to embed the digital watermark into the graphical interface prior to the data being presented in the graphical interface such that the digital watermark is graphically imperceptible to a user, dynamically update the digital watermark during runtime in response to detecting a change in the at least a portion of the data that is encoded into the digital watermark, and re-embed the digital watermark into the graphical interface in response to the digital watermark being updated.
Payload interrogation prior to external data channel submission
The present invention relates to verification of the contents of a data file prior to external recipient communication. Specifically, the invention provides for a data file registration repository that registers information associated with data files. In specific embodiments, data registration occurs automatically be capturing the file header metadata. Prior to communicating the file to an external recipient, the payload of the data file is interrogated to determine actual content and the actual content is compared to the registered information to insure that the data being communicated is the same as what the data file is purported to contain (i.e., matches the registered information). Other verifications, such as date type authorization, recipient authorization and the like may also occur in conjunction with the content verification. If the verification(s) is successful, the data is authorized to be placed in the data channel for communication to the external recipient.
Digital Storage and Data Transport System
A computer implemented method in a system comprising an actor authorization node, an access right storage node and a file record node. The method comprises receiving, from a computing device, a request to access a file, the request comprising information identifying an actor making the request and a file to be accessed, obtaining an indication from the actor authorization node whether or not the identified actor is recorded on the actor authorization node as trustworthy, obtaining an indication from the access right storage node of the access right the identified actor has to the identified file, if the identified actor has been indicated by the actor authorization node as being trustworthy and by the access right storage node as having access rights, obtaining file storage and access details from the file record node and sending the file storage and access details to the computing device or using the file storage and access details to access the stored file and sending the accessed file to the computing device. The file storage and access details comprise at least one of a file storage location, a file encryption key, a calculated characteristic of the stored file and a calculated characteristic of an encrypted version of the stored file.
Data protection backup agent management
During a data protection operation, a system exploits a virtual hierarchy to centralize the configuration and management of operating system credentials of numerous virtual guests. For each virtual guest, the system uses the credential to collect a single Globally Unique Identifier (GUID) previously generated and stored in-guest by any data protection agent. The system stores the collected GUID as a custom property in the context of the virtual hierarchy. The system also exploits the virtual hierarchy custom properties to determine if GUIDs are copies due to virtual guest replication. The system ensures GUID uniqueness by requesting regeneration of the GUID by in-guest data protection agents. Using GUIDs that are unique across the virtual hierarchy, the system can correlate application data of multiple in-guest data protection agents.
Communication device capable of interacting with devices on a network
A system and method for seamless exchange and interaction of multimedia content between communication devices in a network are disclosed. The method can include the discovery and identification of devices within proximity of a sending device. The found devices can be authenticated through unique identifiers established during registration. Connection requirements can be determined based on the identifiers associated with the found devices and the sending device. In turn, the sender can establish a connection with the found devices using the connection requirements. The sending device can share or serve as a remote control to redirect and navigate the content, with a simple action or a gesture command, to the found device. The shared multimedia content, can either reside on the sender's mobile device or on a remote server within a connected network.
