A pouch, having a circular opening into a hollow interior, wherein the circular opening has a circumference, wherein the circumference is affixed to the body portion, wherein the body portion and the at least two arm portions are stored within the pouch in a stored position.
FILTER MASK HAVINE ONE OR MORE MALLEABLE STIFFENING MEMBERS
A filter mask for filtering air inhaled and exhaled from the mouth and nostrils while providing a secure fit and comfort to the wearer is provided. The filter mask has upper and lower edges which are provided with at least one malleable stiffener for conforming to the shape of the wearer's nose and cheek area and/or the lower jaw and chin area. In some embodiments, the filter masks further comprises a malleable stiffening member configured to conform the filter material to at least a chin portion and a jaw portion of the face. In some embodiments, the malleable stiffener can have a bend portion, which allows the wearer of the mask to know which part, center and side of the mask is to be properly placed on the nose and cheek area. The masks provide excellent filtration and provide a secure and comfortable fit to the wearer.
Emergency anti-hypothermia system and highly portable, inflatable emergency vest therefor
An emergency anti-hypothermia system has a thermally insulating vest that is sufficiently portable to be carried for emergency use in a pocket, purse, backpack, compartment of a vehicle, ski pole or other location, with the vest providing thermal insulation by being made with thermally insulating air impervious material that also provides for its inflation. A multiplicity of interconnected inflated chambers situated about the vest, provides thermal insulation by anti-conduction, anti-radiation and anti-convection in a highly portable system. An outer surface having radar reflective properties further improves visibility of the vest.
INTEGRATED FABRIC SYSTEM FOR APPAREL
An article of apparel including an integrated fabric system, with or without strategically-placed weighting and/or elastic resistant materials, which optimizes conditioning, strengthening, endurance, enhancement, training, performance, functional longevity, benefits of daily activity, movement therapy, and/or other diverse medical and/or therapeutic uses, and, all while reducing the possibility of injury. The article enables the user to receive medical and/or therapeutic benefits and to increase production of kinetic energy, through weighted and/or elastic resistance, as required by the user's particularized needs. The user may benefit from the medical/therapeutic properties during periods of activity or inactivity. Benefits are achieved through the integration of fabrics and strategically-placed weighting and/or elastic resistance materials into the article based upon the kinetic energy created, necessitated, and/or dissipated by a specific movement(s) and/or medical or therapeutic requirements.
APPARATUS AND METHOD FOR MAKING AND FOLDING AN ARTICLE
A method for manufacturing and folding a gown which increases manufacturing efficiency and consistency and decreases the time to manufacture. Additionally, the method includes folding a gown for packaging which will allow a person to don the gown with minimal contact with the outer portions of the gown.
CBRN PROTECTIVE CLOTHING WITH PARTIALLY FOLDABLE HOOD
A protective garment to protect at least an upper portion of the user's body against effects of a contaminating agent. The garment includes a hood to cover the user's head. The hood's peripheral edge delimits an opening for the user's face. In a thickness of the hood, from an external environment towards the user's body: an outer layer configured to stop the contaminating agent, in a liquid form, having a hydrophobic and oleophobic dual characteristic, and an inner layer configured to at least one of absorb and adsorb vapours originating from the contaminating agent. Each of the outer layer and the inner layer of the hood has a peripheral edge, which are assembled so as to form the peripheral edge of the hood. The peripheral edge of the outer layer is securely assembled to the peripheral edge of the inner layer only at a lower portion.
DUAL-JACKET ASSEMBLY
A dual-jacket assembly comprising an inner jacket coupled to an outer jacket by a cable system is provided herein. The outer jacket is configured at least to be worn over the inner jacket and to be stowed in a pocket of the inner jacket when not in use. The cable system comprises a plurality of cables, each coupled to the inner jacket at one end and coupled to the outer jacket at the other end. The plurality of cables is configured to position the outer jacket for easier donning and to be used by a wearer to stow the outer jacket in the pocket of the inner jacket when not in use.
