Electronic tag and control method thereof, system including electronic tag and control method thereof
The present disclosure generally relates to the field of electronic tagging technology. An electronic tag may include a scanner configured to scan an article identification information associated with one of a plurality of categories of articles; a controller configured to acquire the article identification information from the scanner; a communicator configured to, based on a pairing of the article identification information with an identification information associated with the electronic tag, acquire a product information corresponding to the article identification information; a storage unit configured to store the identification information associated with the electronic tag; and a display screen configured to display the product information corresponding to the article identification information.
Wireless tag reading system
A wireless tag reading system includes a body and three or more tag reading apparatuses arranged along a vertical direction on the body and configured to read identification information from wireless tags using a plurality of frequencies. A total number of the tag reading apparatuses is greater than or equal to a total number of the frequencies, and reading ranges of two of the wireless tag reading apparatuses that are adjacent to each other partially overlap. The wireless tag reading system further includes an information processing apparatus configured to collect the identification information read from the wireless tags by the wireless tag reading apparatuses.
TOWARDS SCALABLE, ROBUST AND COST-EFFICIENT MECHANISM FOR MULTIPLE OBJECT LOCALIZATION IN SMART INDOOR ENVIRONMENT
Systems and methods related to a RFID-based smart confined environment are provided. A system for localizing an object in a smart home includes a single RFID reader, a plurality of passive RFID tags, each of which is affixed to one of a plurality of objects to be located and contains information of a corresponding object, and a mobile platform including two antennas configured to transmit a carrier wave signal and receive a backscattering signal from a target object. The two antennas are parallelogram-shaped and abutted against each other along a radiation direction.
Position detection system
A position detection system 1 identifies position information on the basis of a position signal received from a storage medium 30P disposed in a placement area where a target item is placed, identifies item information on the basis of an item signal received from a storage medium 30Q attached to the target item, and associates the position information with the item information and stores the associated information when the item signal is received during a period of time that starts from a time at which the position information is identified and that does not exceed a predetermined length of time.
Product and equipment location and automation system and method
A system for location of assets on a premises is described. The system uses identifiers attached to a group of one or more assets along with mobile sensor packages. Each mobile sensor package contains components for data processing, data exchange, and storage. The sensor package also contains a sensor for reading identifiers and a location tool. The mobile sensor packages are attached to each mover of assets on the premises.
INFORMATION PROCESSING APPARATUS, INFORMATION PROCESSING METHOD, AND COMPUTER-READABLE STORAGE MEDIUM
An information processing apparatus operable to specify identification information of a communication object that a moving object that carries a reader apparatus holds: receives, from the reader apparatus, identification information read from a communication object near the reader apparatus, and a reading time thereof; stores, in a memory unit, association information that includes association of the received identification information and the reading time; and specifies the identification information of the communication object that the moving object holds based on the association information stored in the memory unit.
METHOD AND DEVICE FOR READER TO TRANSMIT SIGNAL IN WIRELESS COMMUNICATION SYSTEM
One embodiment of the present invention relates to a method for a reader to transmit and receive a signal to and from a tag, the method comprising: a step in which a first reader transmits a first signal to a tag; and a step in which the first reader receives the first signal reflected on the tag. The timing for the first reader to transmit the first signal is determined by using an offset value based on an ID related to the first reader.
Method and system for charging electric autonomous vehicles
A system and method is provided for delivering electric energy to an electric autonomous vehicle. Autonomous vehicles are guided to electric charging stations or kiosks where an energy delivery point is configured to couple to the electric autonomous vehicle via a connector or a wireless energy source. The energy delivery point delivers energy to the electric autonomous vehicle via the connector. The AV is guided via the use of specialized lane marking components that permit unprecedented sensor feedback despite adverse weather conditions, which presently pose problems experienced by self-driving systems that rely upon vision based camera systems.
Nonreputable authenticated traffic signs
A street sign authentication arrangement for a motor vehicle includes an RFID tag reader for reading information encrypted on a street sign encountered by the motor vehicle. An electronic processor is communicatively coupled to the RFID tag reader, and verifies, based on the information read from the street sign, that the information was encrypted by an authorized entity. The processor controls movement of the motor vehicle based on the information read from the street sign if the processor is able to verify that the information was encrypted by the authorized entity. The processor refrains from controlling movement of the motor vehicle based on the information read from the street sign if the processor is not able to verify that the information was encrypted by the authorized entity.
Devices and methods for contactless card alignment with a foldable mobile device
Example embodiments of systems, methods, and devices for transaction card alignment are provided. In one example embodiment, a mobile device may include a first component and a second component foldable with respect to one another between a first configuration and a second configuration. The mobile device may further include a screen interface on an interior side of the first component, and an alignment feature along the interior side, the alignment feature providing alignment for a contactless card with respect to the screen interface, wherein the contactless card is uncovered by the second component in the first configuration and covered by the second component in the second configuration.
