The invention relates to a method for detecting objects, comprising a plurality of RFID data carriers (DT1-DT9) designed as tags, one data carrier being assigned to each object and the data carriers forming an RFID data carrier population with a random distribution of the RFID data carriers in a data carrier vicinity and at least one mobile read device (R1-R5). The read device, in an active operating mode, moves between at least two different positions in the data carrier vicinity and receives object data or position data of the RFID data carriers that are within range of the read device, such that a data carrier association is made in the read device, in accordance with the position of the latter, between an RFID data carrier and the read device and an object data record or position data record is created and then said object data record or position data record is transmitted to a network interface (NS) within transmission range of the read device.

AUTONOMOUS VEHICLES PERFORMING INVENTORY MANAGEMENT

An inventory management system managing a plurality of inventory items stored in a storage area. The inventory management system includes an autonomous vehicle configured to move within the storage area and a computing device communicatively coupled to the autonomous vehicle. The autonomous vehicle includes a beacon configured to facilitate detection of a current position of the autonomous vehicle based on signal triangulation, a sensor configured to detect information indicative of a number of inventory items at the current position of the autonomous vehicle, and a wireless data link configured to transmit a signal indicative of the number of inventory items. The computing device may detect a position of the autonomous vehicle based on the signal transmitted from the beacon, and update an inventory of the storage area based on the signal indicative of the number of inventory items.

WIRELESS TAG READING SYSTEM

A wireless tag reading system includes a body and three or more tag reading apparatuses arranged along a vertical direction on the body and configured to read identification information from wireless tags using a plurality of frequencies. A total number of the tag reading apparatuses is greater than or equal to a total number of the frequencies, and reading ranges of two of the wireless tag reading apparatuses that are adjacent to each other partially overlap. The wireless tag reading system further includes an information processing apparatus configured to collect the identification information read from the wireless tags by the wireless tag reading apparatuses.

WIRELESS DUAL-MODE IDENTIFICATION TAG

Embodiments of the present disclosure generally relate to systems and methods for detecting misplaced items in an establishment. In one implementation, the system may include at least one processor configured to receive from at least one reader in the establishment, identification signals of tags read by the reader; determine current locations of the tags; and record the current locations of the tags. The processor may also be configured to access a designated location in the establishment for each of the tags; and determine, by comparing the current locations with the designated locations, a particular tag with a current location that differs from the designated location of the particular tag. The processor may also be configured to generate a notification signal when the current location of the particular tag does not match the designated location of the particular tag.

TRACKING SYSTEM WITH MOBILE READER
20210011114 · 2021-01-14 ·

A tracking system uses a mobile reader or scanner that scans, for example through a barcode reader, a passive tag reader, a probe, input, camera, or an active RF tag communication reader, and records item (asset or inventory) data. After being recorded, this item data and other relevant data is sent by radio transmission to a receiver network in the tracking system. The receiver network has at least two receivers (or at least two receiver antennae). The scanner location data, calculated by comparing the signal information at each receiver antenna receiving the radio transmission, is then used to register and record the location data of the scanned item.

Electronic pen, position detection apparatus, and information processing apparatus
10890986 · 2021-01-12 · ·

An electronic pen includes: a receiver that receives tag information transmitted from an electronic tag transmitter; a transmitter that transmits a position detection signal for detecting an instruction position in a sensor of a position detection apparatus to the position detection apparatus; and a control circuit that controls the transmitter to transmit the tag information to the position detection apparatus along with the position detection signal when the receiver receives the tag information. The position detection apparatus receives a signal transmitted from the electronic pen, the signal including the tag information and the position detection signal from the electronic tag transmitter, and stores information of the position instructed by the electronic pen detected by the detection circuit in a storage device in association with the tag information from the electronic pen received by the sensor.

System, and process, and device for emission or augmentation of energy affecting animals and pets

A chip or carbon fiber substrate may be programmed to emit and/or augment energy tuned to interact with bodily functions. The chip or carbon fiber substrate may be programmed by using a pair of Tesla pancake coils, each coupled to a spherical electrode and driven to create an energetic field between the electrodes. Embodiments may include systems that include the programmed chip in a device (for example, a pet tag) worn on an animal's body. The systems may be wearable so that the effects of the programmed chip may be applied to selected areas of animals and pets.
