Seat positioning system for a wheelchair
A seat positioning system includes a base frame having a pair of forward slots and a pair of rear slots, and a seat frame having a front end and a back end. The seat frame is coupled to the base frame and movable relative to the base frame. A first pair of linkages is slideably coupled to the pair of forward slots and connects the frames. A first pair of locking devices has a locked configuration adapted to prevent the first pair of linkages from sliding relative to the pair of forward slots and an unlocked configuration adapted to allow the first pair of linkages to slide relative to the pair of forward slots. A second pair of linkages slideably is coupled to the pair of rear slots and connects the frames. An actuator is pivotally connected to both the seat frame and the base frame and is configured to extend and contract to move the seat frame relative to the base frame.
Chair
A chair includes a frame unit including a seat frame, a leg rest that is pivotally mounted to the seat frame, and a rest adjusting mechanism that is connected between the leg rest and the seat frame. The rest adjusting mechanism is convertible between an unlocked state, where the leg rest is permitted to pivot relative to the seat frame, and a locked state, where the leg rest is not permitted to pivot relative to the seat frame.
Adjustable backrest and wheelchair therewith
An adjustable backrest is adapted for a chair frame and includes a first pivoting component, a second pivoting component, a backrest sliding assembly and a backrest connecting component. The second pivoting component is pivoted to the first pivoting component. The backrest sliding assembly is slidably disposed on the first pivoting component. The backrest connecting component is disposed between the first pivoting component and the second pivoting component. A first end of the backrest connecting component is pivoted to the backrest sliding assembly. A second end of the backrest connecting component is pivoted to the second pivoting component. The backrest sliding assembly drives the second pivoting component to pivot relative to the first pivoting component by the backrest connecting component when the at least one backrest sliding assembly slides relative to the first pivoting component, so as to support a user's back portion at different angles.
MOBILITY DEVICE
A mobility device (1) comprising: a main frame (3) having a central longitudinal axis which coincides with the median plane of the mobility device (1), an elongated body support member (13b) which has a central longitudinal axis (At) that is contained in a median plane of the mobility device (1), the body support member (13b) being pivotally connected to the main frame (3) via a medial pivot connection (17), and an elongated rotation transfer member (13c) rotatably connected to the body support member (13b), wherein the rotation transfer member (13b) has a central longitudinal axis (A2) which extends transversally relative to the central longitudinal axis (At) of the body support member (13b).
TRANSPORT APPARATUS
A first transport apparatus includes a deck for supporting a patient thereon and a lift mechanism supporting the deck. The deck is removable from the lift mechanism for use as a second transport apparatus or part of a second transport apparatus. The first transport apparatus further includes an electrically powered device at the first transport apparatus, and a user input device for wireless control of the electrically powered device, which is operable at or near the first transport apparatus and the second transport apparatus.
EXOSKELETON WHEELCHAIR SYSTEM
An exoskeleton wheelchair system includes a base, one or more wheels coupled to the base, a body support connected to the base comprising: a back support; and one or more leg supports pivotally coupled to the back support, and a gait wheel linked with the one or more leg supports via one or more gait linkages and configured to rotate the one or more leg supports. The one or more leg supports are configured to pivot about a first axis when the back support is in a standing position mode. The back support is maintained at a fixed position relative to a location of the base when the one or more leg supports pivot about the first axis while the back support is in the standing position mode.
Terminal device and program
An embodiment of the invention is a terminal device controlling a body support apparatus capable of a first operation and a second operation; the terminal device includes a displayer and a controller; the displayer displays an operator controlling an operation of the body support apparatus; the controller switches between a first display format and a second display format based on an instruction from an outside; the first display format displays a first operator and a second operator in the displayer; the first operator controls the first operation; the second operator controls the second operation; and the second display format displays one of the first operator or the second operator in the displayer.
Reclining Chair with Multi-Axis Programmed Therapeutic Motion
The disclosed invention is a multi-motion chair with motorized movement that provides continuous therapeutic movement. The therapeutic chair utilizes multiple pivoting points for the back, seat, legs, and arms. Pivoting motors and linear actuators are installed at rotatable points of the chair and provide multiple ways of activating therapeutic motion. The therapeutic motion is directed by a programmable controller which can move the chair in a continuous motion automatically without additional input from the user and therefore helps to reduce joint and muscle stress or pain while seated for long periods of time.
Patient support apparatus
A patient support apparatus includes a frame, a stationary member mounted relative to the frame, a movable member having a pivot member rotatably mounting the movable member about the stationary member, and a fastener securing the pivot member to the stationary member. The patient support apparatus also includes a joint between the pivot member and the stationary member, which is configured to apply a tension force on the fastener.
