An embodiment of the invention is a terminal device controlling a body support apparatus capable of a first operation and a second operation; the terminal device includes a displayer and a controller; the displayer displays an operator controlling an operation of the body support apparatus; the controller switches between a first display format and a second display format based on an instruction from an outside; the first display format displays a first operator and a second operator in the displayer; the first operator controls the first operation; the second operator controls the second operation; and the second display format displays one of the first operator or the second operator in the displayer.
SEAT POSITIONING SYSTEM FOR A WHEELCHAIR
A seat positioning system includes a base frame having a pair of forward slots and a pair of rear slots, and a seat frame having a front end and a back end. The seat frame is coupled to the base frame and movable relative to the base frame. A first pair of linkages is slideably coupled to the pair of forward slots and connects the frames. A first pair of locking devices has a locked configuration adapted to prevent the first pair of linkages from sliding relative to the pair of forward slots and an unlocked configuration adapted to allow the first pair of linkages to slide relative to the pair of forward slots. A second pair of linkages slideably is coupled to the pair of rear slots and connects the frames. An actuator is pivotally connected to both the scat frame and the base frame and is configured to extend and contract to move the scat frame relative to the base frame.
ACCESS SYSTEM
An access system includes a laterally extending frame, a carriage in operative connection with the laterally extending frame and including a drive to move the carriage laterally on the frame, a seat support attached to the carriage including a seat assembly interface and a lift to raise and lower the seat assembly interface within a range of positions, a seat assembly attached to the seat assembly interface, a controller in operative connection with the drive of the carriage and the lift of the seat support via which the position of the seat support is controllable, and a controller interface in operative connection with the controller.

A sliding stop switch may include a first rod extending in the longitudinal direction thereof, a second rod coupled to the first rod such that one end portion thereof is slidable in the longitudinal direction of the first rod, and a switch member coupled to the first rod to slide in the longitudinal direction of the first rod and to be fixed at a plurality of points on the first rod to stop the sliding of one end portion of the second rod.
WHEELCHAIR BACK SUPPORT ADJUSTMENT SYSTEM WITH CENTRAL SPHERICAL JOINT
A wheelchair back support adjustment assembly that utilizes a swivel assembly is disclosed. This swivel assembly provides an entirety of an interconnection between the wheelchair back support adjustment assembly and a back support of a wheelchair. The wheelchair back support adjustment assembly may also include a linkage that interfaces with the swivel assembly. Opposite end portions of the linkage are connectable with a corresponding cane of a wheelchair. The configuration of the wheelchair back support adjustment assembly accommodates a variety of adjustments, to correspondingly adjust a back support of a wheelchair when in an installed configuration (e.g., to customize the back support to a user of the wheelchair). These adjustments may be through one or more adjustments of the swivel assembly, one or more adjustments adjustment of the linkage, or both.
Mobility aid
A mobility aid, comprising a first frame member, a second frame member, and at least one pivoting member, which is connected to the first frame member and is pivotably mounted about a pivot axis to the second frame member. The pivoting member can be moved into a use position and into a transport position relative to the second frame member. A first locking device locks the pivoting member relative to the second frame member whenever the pivoting member is in the use position. A second locking device locks the first frame member relative to the second frame member whenever the pivoting member is in the transport position.
Transport apparatus
A first transport apparatus includes a deck for supporting a patient thereon and a lift mechanism supporting the deck. The deck is removable from the lift mechanism for use as a second transport apparatus or part of a second transport apparatus. The first transport apparatus further includes an electrically powered device at the first transport apparatus, and a user input device for wireless control of the electrically powered device, which is operable at or near the first transport apparatus and the second transport apparatus.

A mobility device (1) comprising: a main frame (3), drive wheel swing arms (5) pivotally connected to the main frame (3), drive wheels (7) connected to a respective one of the drive wheel swing arms (5), wheel motors, each wheel motor being configured to drive a respective drive wheel (7), a rear wheel swing arm (9) pivotally connected to the main frame (3), a rear wheel (11) connected to the rear wheel swing arm (9), and an actuating device configured to control a rear wheel swing arm angle between the rear wheel swing arm (9) and the main frame (3) independently of control of the wheel motors.
Exoskeleton wheelchair system
An exoskeleton wheelchair system includes a base, one or more wheels coupled to the base, a body support connected to the base. The body support includes a back support, and one or more leg supports pivotally coupled to the back support. The exoskeleton wheelchair system also includes an actuator linked with the one or more leg supports and configured to rotate the one or more leg supports, a processor, a memory module, and machine readable instructions that, when executed by the processor, cause the processor to rotate the one or more leg supports with the actuator. The one or more leg supports pivot about a first axis when the back support is in a standing position mode, and the first axis is maintained at a fixed position when the one or more leg supports pivot about the first axis while the back support is in the standing position mode.
Power operated lift chair
The invention generally relates to a power operated lift chair. The power operated lift chair includes a chair assembly, a support assembly and a lifting assembly. The chair assembly includes a vertical back support, a back cushion attached to the vertical back support, a horizontal seat support and a seat cushion attached to the horizontal seat support. The support assembly includes a horizontal beam, a vertical guide post extending upward from the horizontal beam, a guide bracket connected to the chair assembly, at least one horizontal support member extending outward perpendicularly from the horizontal beam and a support platform. The lifting assembly includes a lifting rod positioned on the support platform and a locking collar connected to the lifting rod and the guide bracket. The lifting rod is configured to rotate to lift and lower the chair assembly.
