WHEELCHAIR WITH FOUR WHEEL INDEPENDENT SUSPENSION AND MODULAR SEATING
This invention provides a wheelchair with four-wheel independent suspension and modular seating, allowing for customized seat selection and a variable ride. It includes a chair assembly, a chassis assembly and a suspension assembly. The chair assembly includes a seat; a seat mount; a seat angle adjuster; and a pillar. The chassis assembly includes a chassis; and a handle assembly. The suspension assembly incudes a forward suspension assembly and a rear suspension assembly. In another embodiment, the wheelchair includes a chair assembly with handles, a main cross beam and a suspension spring assembly.
Lifting Mechanism
A platform link mechanism may include a base with a first member rotatably coupled to the base. A second member may be coupled to the first member. The second member may be moveable with respect to the first member between a first position and a second position. A lifting link assembly may be rotatably coupled to each of the base and the second member. A platform mount may be coupled to the second member. The platform mount may be rotatable about a platform pivot with respect to the second member. The lifting link assembly may rotate relative to the first member, the second member, and the base as the second member moves relative to the first member. The first member may rotate relative to the base as the lifting link assembly rotates relative to the first member.

Wheelchair backrest assembly
A seat assembly including a seat, a support plate configured to pivot with respect to the seat, a slide plate slidably mounted to the support plate, and a pivot arm positioned between the support plate and the slide plate and connected to the slide plate and the seat. When the support plate is pivotally adjusted with respect to the seat, the pivot arm causes the slide plate to slide along the support plate.
SURGICAL TABLE AND METHOD OF OPERATING THE SAME
A surgical table includes a mechanism for causing movement of a tabletop of the table relative to a column of the table in a selected longitudinal or transverse direction of the tabletop, the mechanism including first and second drive elements movably mounted on one of the column and the tabletop and a traverse device mounted on the other of the column and the tabletop, wherein the tabletop is movable relative to the column between a predetermined traverse position, at which both of the first and second drive elements are engaged with the traverse device, and a first traverse position, at which the first drive element is engaged with the traverse device and the second drive element is disengaged from the traverse device. Also described is a system for helping a user dispose a tabletop of a table a predetermined position relative to a column of the table.
AUTOMATICALLY RECOMMENDING CHANGES TO WHEELCHAIR SETTING BASED ON USAGE DATA
A system for recommending changes to a wheelchair configuration setting includes a portable electronic device having at least one sensor collecting a plurality of sensor data corresponding to movement of a wheelchair. One or more processors are coupled to a storage device and a communication interface. By the one or more processors executing software instructions loaded from the storage device, the one or more processors are operable to receive the sensor data from the portable electronic device via the communication interface, and generate a recommended wheelchair setting for the wheelchair based at least in part on the sensor data. The processors compare the recommended wheelchair setting with a current wheelchair setting associated with the wheelchair stored in the storage device, and transmit a setting change message via the communication interface when the recommended wheelchair setting is different than the current wheelchair setting.
WHEELCHAIR REAR WHEEL SUPPORT ASSEMBLY AND DETACHABLE ARMREST
A wheelchair rear wheel support assembly and a detachable arm assembly is described. The rear wheel support assembly is adjustable by finite adjustment both in the horizontal and vertical planes whereby to adjust the position of the rear wheels at a center of gravity to suit a user person to optimize the efforts of propulsion of the wheelchair by the user and thereby significantly increasing its quality of life. The detachable armrest is easily adjustable in height and can be pivoted away from its position of use by simple hand-operating levers easily accessible to the user person. It can also be easily removed with little effort.
MEDICAL SUPPORT APPARATUS
A medical chair includes a base, a seat, and a leg rest pivotally mounted relative to the seat and adapted to move between an extended position and a retracted position. The chair further includes a first actuator for tilting the seat with respect to the base, a second actuator for lifting the seat with respect to the base, and a leg rest actuator adapted to move the leg rest. The chair also includes a controller adapted to control the first and second actuators to move the seat between a first position and a second position such that the seat is both lifted and tilted at the same time as the seat moves from the first position to the second position, and wherein the controller is adapted to control the leg rest actuator such that the leg rest maintains a substantially constant orientation with respect to the floor.
All terrain wheelchair
An all terrain wheelchair is provided. The wheelchair includes a frame. The frame includes an upper bracket, a lower bracket, a first side, a second side, a front end and a rear end. At least one motor is mounted to the lower bracket of the frame. A first drive sprocket and a second drive sprocket may be disposed on the first side and the second side respectively. The motor may rotate the first and second drive sprockets. A first track drive wheel is rotatably connected to the first side and a second track drive wheel is rotatably connected to the second side. The first and second track drive wheels each include a wheel sprocket connected to the first and second drive sprockets respectively by a drive chain. A plurality of roller wheels are rotatably connected to each of the first side and the second side. A first track surrounds the plurality of wheels on the first side and a second track surrounds the plurality of wheels on the second side. The first track is driven by the first track drive wheel and the second track is driven by the second track drive wheel. The present invention may further include a seat mounted to the upper bracket and a controller operable to control an output of the at least one motor and a steering of the wheelchair.
