NON-TRANSITORY COMPUTER-READABLE STORAGE MEDIUM FOR STORING PROGRAM, OUTPUT METHOD, AND OUTPUT SYSTEM
An output method executed by a computer includes: receiving compressed data encoded in a state in which a page break is identifiable in print data having a plurality of pages and an encoding dictionary used for the encoding; identifying the page break of the received compressed data and partially decompressing the received compressed data into the print data in units of pages, by using the encoding dictionary; and outputting the print data in order of the decompression.
Printing apparatus for controlling start of printing process
A controller of a printing apparatus causes, in accordance with programs, the printing apparatus to obtain data and temporarily storing the received data in a buffer, create an image to be printed on a printing medium in accordance with the received data, obtain a receiving time period required to receive particular amount of data, obtain an image creating time period to create the image in accordance with the particular amount of data, obtain a total print length of a printing medium on which printing is executed in accordance with the data, calculate an amount of image which can be printed at a designated constant printing speed based on the receiving time period, the image creating time period and the total print length, and, when the calculated amount of image can be created, start a process of printing at the designated constant printing speed in accordance with the created image.
Tape printing apparatus and control method for tape printing apparatus
A tape printing apparatus includes an input unit for performing editing, a temporary storage unit configured to temporarily store editing information being edited by the tape printing apparatus, and an editing-information transmitting unit configured to transmit the editing information to a portable terminal when a first operation button included in the input unit is operated in a state in which the editing information is stored in the temporary storage unit.
SYSTEMS, PROCESSES, INTERFACES, AND COMPUTER PROGRAM PRODUCTS FOR VERIFICATION OF IMAGE CONTENT IN SOFTWARE DEVELOPMENT SYSTEMS
A system provides verification of image content in software modules within a system of software under development. Embodiments retrieve image data from a software module written in a native or first computer program type or language. The retrieved image data may be evaluated so that a conversion image space is prepared as a new coordinate space that will be used to render the image data into an image object outside of the native computer program type or language. In an exemplary embodiment, a bit-per-pixel value may be applied to the image data during conversion to a second computer program format/language. The converted image data may then be rendered into an image object in the new coordinate space according to the new readable format. The rendered image object may then be displayed to provide convenient and quick visual verification of the accuracy of the unrendered image data content.
INFORMATION APPARATUS OR CLIENT SOFTWARE THAT WIRELESSLY DISCOVERS, WITHIN SHORT RANGE, ONE OR MORE OUTPUT DEVICES FOR ESTABLISHING A WIRELESS CONNECTION
An information apparatus that wirelessly discovers an available output device, within a physical vicinity, for outputting content is herein disclosed and enabled. The information apparatus includes a wireless communication unit for establishing short range wireless communication directly between the information apparatus and one or more available output devices; wirelessly receiving information from an available output device; determining, from the information received from the available output device, whether the available output device matches a requirement for outputting the content; and, when the requirement is matched, selecting the available output device, conforming at least part of the content into output data, and transmitting at least part of the output data over the short range wireless communication directly from the information apparatus to the selected output device. The information apparatus may include one or more of a smart phone, information pad, a digital camera, or an Internet appliance.
POINT-OF-SALE DEVICE INCLUDING AN ELECTRONIC RECEIPT AGENT
A point-of-sale device executes an electronic receipt agent to implement an electronic receipt system. The agent includes an input processing unit that receives, via an input device, data related to a commercial transaction, and outputs the data to the POS device that generates receipt data on the basis of the data. A print processing unit controls a print device to print a receipt based on the generated receipt data. A transmission processing unit transmits the receipt data to a server that stores the receipt data. A determination unit determines whether the data requires an electronic receipt. A switching unit provides the receipt data to the transmission processing unit if the data requires the electronic receipt. The switching unit also provides the receipt data to the print processing unit if the data does not require the electronic receipt.
BITMAP PROCESSING OF DIGITAL DOCUMENTS
A bitmap processing system for creating digital documents on a digital printing press by a fulfiller includes a fulfiller operated raster image processor that receives customer application Page Description Language (PDL) job files containing information for creating the digital documents and generates bitmaps in accordance with the files and a fulfiller operated editor that modifies the bitmaps so that the resulting documents process more efficiently in production steps downstream of a printing process.
Image forming apparatus, image forming method, and non-transitory computer readable medium
An image forming apparatus includes a processing unit group forming section, a converting section, and plural raster image processors. The processing unit group forming section forms plural processing unit groups by grouping plural processing units included in a print job. The converting section converts, for each of the plural processing units, the print job into intermediate data so as to form plural intermediate data groups corresponding to the plural processing unit groups. The plural raster image processors correspond to the plural intermediate data groups, each of the plural raster image processors performing a conversion process of converting a corresponding one of the plural intermediate data groups into raster data.
High-Speed Printer Video Interface Using a High-Definition Media Interface (HDMI)
A system uses GPU accessible, high-speed memory to store compressed or raw video printer data. The system transmits this video data over one or more frames of an HDMI interface and a circuit reconstructs the video data for a page from one or more HDMI frames for communication to a printer.
PRINT CONTROL APPARATUS, AND PRINT CONTROL METHOD THAT SELECTIVELY RASTERIZE PRINT DATA
A print control apparatus includes a network interface to receive, from an external device, print job data including a plurality of ordered separate document files and two sequential serial page numbers in the plurality of ordered separate document files for specifying sequential target pages to be printed. The print job data has been generated and sent by the external device. One of the two sequential serial page numbers indicates, as an initial page, a page of one of the plurality of ordered document files, and the other of the sequential serial page numbers indicates, as a last page, a page of another one of the plurality of ordered document files. A rasterizer rasterizes at least the sequential target pages specified by the two sequential serial page numbers, and does not rasterize one or more pages of one or more document files that do not include the sequential target pages.
