PRINTING SYSTEM
To suppress distortion in an image formed on a tapered printing target object. A printing system includes: a printing device that rotates a tapered printing target object about an axial rotation direction of the central axis and ejects an ink to the side surface of the printing target object, and a control unit that forms an image on the printing target object based on supplied print data; and a print data generation device that acquires a rectangular original image, generates an image for printing deformed in the lateral direction in such a manner that the acquired original image is tapered from a second edge side corresponding to the small-diameter-side end portion of the printing target object to a first edge side corresponding to the large-diameter-side end portion of the printing target object, and supplies the image for printing generated to the printing device as print data.
TAPE PRINTING APPARATUS AND CONTROL METHOD OF TAPE PRINTING APPARATUS
A tape printing apparatus includes a display portion and a control portion, in which the control portion controls the display portion based on image data representing a first character selected from a first character selection screen such that the selected first character is displayed on a text screen as a character constituting text to be printed, receives an flip instruction to display, on the text screen in place of the first character, a first flipped character in which the first character is subjected to character flip, generates first flipped image data representing the first flipped character based on the image data representing the first character when the flip instruction is received, and controls the display portion based on the generated first flipped image data such that the first flipped character is displayed on the text screen in place of the first character as the character constituting the text.
Inspection system, inspection apparatus, and method of controlling these
The information processing apparatus receives a print job from an external apparatus and generates, from print data included in the print job, image data for printing and image area attribute information related to content for each area included in an image to be printed. In addition, for an area in which the image area attribute information indicates a text string attribute, the information processing apparatus extracts, from the print data, direction information related to an orientation of a text string and transmits, to the printing apparatus, the image area attribute information and the direction information, together with the image data for printing. The inspection apparatus inspects a printed product according to the image data for printing, by comparing a read image of the printed product, and a reference image, which is received image data for printing, according to the image area attribute information and the direction information.
Decorating a Hide by Inkjet Technology
A method of decorating a hide comprising the following steps: selecting a digital layout (501) comprising a digital contour (110) of the hide; a first printing element (551) and a second printing element (552); applying the hide on a support (300) of an inkjet printer; adapting the digital layout (501) to match the digital contour (110) with the applied hide; decorating the applied hide by printing the adapted layout with the inkjet printer; and wherein the step of adapting comprises rotating (600) the first and second printing element (551, 552) by the same angle.
TAPE PRINTING DEVICE, PRINTING METHOD, AND NON-TRANSITORY COMPUTER-READABLE STORAGE MEDIUM STORING PROGRAM
A tape printing device that executes printing on a tape-like printing medium includes an input portion that receives input of a character string and designation of a printing condition, a controller, a storage portion storing at least one definition table that is used when particular printing is executed in which sizes of respective characters included in the character string are stepwise changed to print the character string and that defines the sizes of the respective characters included in the character string in correspondence with the number of characters in the character string and a width of the printing medium, and a printing portion. The controller, when the printing condition designates the particular printing, sets the sizes for the respective characters included in the character string based on the definition table, and generates specific print data indicating that each character is to be printed in the size set for the character.
