The gown includes features that improve its ability to protect users in addition to acting as a protective barrier.

An improved glove and method of removing the glove is described herein. The glove can comprise a body, a cuff opening, a plurality of finger sections, and a grip. The cuff opening can be at the bottom end of the body. A wearer's hand can be insertable into the cuff opening. The base of the finger sections can be connected to the top end of the body. Each of the finger section can accommodate each finger of the wearer's hand. The grip can be attached to a surface of the glove. The grip can be used to remove the body from the hand. The method for removing the glove can comprise the steps of inserting one or more fingers into an opening of the grip, grasping onto the grip, and removing the gloves by pulling the grip away from the wearer's hand. The grip can be attached to the glove.

A glove dispensing system wherein there are a pair of tines which are adapted to be attached to, laterally spaced, and project laterally outwardly from a support. A plurality of gloves, each of which has a peripherally extending cuff forming a back wall and a front wall, the back wall having laterally spaced perforations which allow the gloves to be fitted over the tines, the back wall and front wall cooperating to form a mouth into the gloves such that a user's hand can be inserted into the gloves with a minimal amount of manual manipulation.

Medical Gown

The present disclosure provides a gown comprising a non-woven fabric having a front portion, a rear portion, a lower edge, and a head insertion aperture defined between the front portion and the rear portion; an opening, the opening defined in the rear portion, said opening formed at the lower edge and extending towards the head insertion aperture, configured to assist a wearer in donning the gown; and a bridge extending across the rear portion between the opening and head insertion aperture; the bridge serving to tear and split the rear portion when the front portion is pulled away by the wearer. The bridge is free from any aids to tearing and the bridge and the opening form the sole mechanisms for tearing the gown. A method of wearing and removing a gown is also provided. The method includes the steps of accessing the gown as described above; passing a head through the head insertion aperture to don the gown; and pulling the front portion, thereby tearing and splitting the between the head insertion aperture and the opening, to remove the gown. A method of making a gown is also provided.

A disposable medical gown (100) includes a body covering portion (101) and optionally one or more sleeves (107,108). The body covering portion (101) defines a head insertion aperture (104) between a frontal body covering portion (103) configured to cover a frontal body portion of a wearer and a rear portion (203) configured to cover at least parts of shoulder blades of the wearer. A torso opening (201) is disposed on a side of the rear portion (203) opposite the head insertion aperture (104), and extends distally from the rear portion (203). One or more perforations (202) extend across the rear portion (203) at least partially between the torso opening (202) and the head insertion aperture (104), and facilitate easy removal of the gown (100). A user removes the gown (100) by pulling the front portion (103), thereby tearing the perforations. Elastic gatherings can be included to snug the gown about the torso or limbs of the user.

Elastomeric gloves and methods for their production

The present application provides low thickness synthetic elastomeric gloves, comprising (a) a thickness at the palm of less than 0.050 mm; (a) a modulus at 500% above 6.5 MPa; and/or (c) an elongation at break below 700%. Also provided is a method for the manufacture of such gloves involving dipping a glove-shaped former into an elastomeric film-forming composition; and curing the elastomeric film-forming composition on the former so as to produce the synthetic elastomeric glove. Corresponding low thickness finger cots are also described, as are formers suitable for the preparation of such gloves.

Unitary article of clothing with overlapping warming joiner band defining a double waistband

The present disclosure provides for a unitary article of clothing, typically referred to as a jumpsuit, comprising a jacket section and a pant section, one connected to the other by means of a joiner band. The joiner band is attached to both the jacket and pant sections and serves to provide additional warmth to a midsection of a user by providing at least three layers of fabric over the user's midsection. In addition to providing additional warmth, the joiner band also gives the jumpsuit the appearance of being a two-piece suit comprised of a sweater independent from the jogging pants. The jacket portion is also comprised of a closeable opening to allow a user to get into the pant section of the jumpsuit and subsequently also wear the jacket portion.
