A sports trouser is provided, comprising: a trouser portion having a waistband portion (11) from which a bifurcated leg portion (12) depends; and a halter portion (13) extending from the waistband portion to loop, when worn, around the back of the neck of the wearer, thereby to apply an upward force to the waistband portion, wherein the halter portion is anchored to the waistband portion so as to apply force at at least two positions arranged on either side of the body sagittal plane each being rearward of the body coronal plane, the halter portion being anchored so as to extend to the neck crossing the body coronal plane beneath the arms of the wearer. The trouser may thereby be more convenient to don and doff, and may thereby be more comfortable to wear.

An over the head gown is provided having a one-way lock for receiving a neck tie strap which facilitates closure of the head opening around the wearer's neck and closure of the rear gap in the back panels of the gown. Initially, the necktie strap is partially inserted through the lock, and then the gown is placed over the wearer's head. The loose end of the strap can then be pulled, without reaching behind the wearer's head or neck, to tighten the head opening and close the gap in the back of the gown. The gown can be removed by detaching the necktie strap or the lock from the gown then pulling the gown from the wearer's body.

The compression augmented full-pressure suit system includes a garment configured to protect humans in low to zero atmospheric pressure environments while providing excellent mobility. The suit system includes a specialized compression garment worn over the entirety of the body, with a full pressure suit over that compression garment. The compression garment applies a percentage of the pressure on the human form required for protection in low atmosphere environments. The balance of the pressure that is required comes from pressurization of the full pressure suit. Use of both pressure application methods concurrently enables each component to be greatly simplified in comparison to their configuration when used individually, with the result being greater comfort and performance at a reduced cost.

The pair of pants has a waistband that encircles a waist of the wearer of the pair of pants, a first leg having a first inner leg seam and a first outside leg opening, a second leg having a second inner leg seam and a second outside leg opening, a crotch seam between the first and second legs, the pair of pants being made of a fabric that is slidably supported on the waistband, at least a portion of the pair of pants enabling the fabric to slidably move on the waistband to enable the wearer to increase a size of at least one of the first outside leg opening or the second outside leg opening to facilitate the easy donning and removal of the pants. The pants have overlapping portions or wings that can wrap around the pants to close the first and second outside leg openings.

A top and bottom portion of the swimsuit can be partially separated by an openable closure that connects the top portion to the bottom portion when closed. An integral joining strip that secures the top portion to the bottom portion at one side of the swimsuit, so that when both legs are removed from the bottom portion, the bottom portion of the swimsuit is retained at the side of the wearer. An elastic expansion may be provided in the joining strip to facilitate pulling the bottom portion downward when extracting the wearer's leg(s). The closure may be an elastic band or elastic zipper to facilitate reconnection of the bottom portion to the top portion. A flap or skirt may be included to hide the closure.
