LABEL-PRINTING CONTROL APPARATUS, NON-TRANSITORY COMPUTER-READABLE RECORDING MEDIUM AND LABEL-PRINTING CONTROL METHOD
Provided are a label-printing control apparatus, a non-transitory computer-readable recording medium and a label-printing control method. A hardware processor of the label-printing control apparatus creates an adjusting image, from a reference mark for determining a die-cutting position on a continuous label stock and a cut mark representing a shape to cut a label image printed on the continuous label stock, both extracted from print data, while arranging specific images each created from the cut mark, to be spaced apart from the respective reference marks with different distances in the adjusting image. The hardware processor further creates, from the reference mark and a label image extracted from the print data, an end product image including the reference mark and the label image, and instructs the label printing device to print the adjusting image and the end product image on a continuous label stock.
Data processing device and non-transitory computer readable medium
A data processing device includes a feature specification unit that analyzes document data indicating a print target document to specify a feature of the print target document, an acquiring unit that acquires feature data indicating a feature of at least one document specified by analyzing each document and setting data indicating a print setting corresponding to each document, from a storage device, a selection unit that compares the specified feature of the print target document with the features indicated by the feature data of the documents acquired by the acquiring unit and that selects setting data used for printing of the print target document among the acquired setting data based on a comparison result, and a print instructing unit that instructs a printing device to print the print target document in accordance with the selected setting data.
Adjusting color tone for printing using display of virtual object together with marker arranged in real environment
A display includes a display unit, an image sensor that takes an image of a predetermined area and outputs the taken image, and a hardware processor that detects the marker in the taken image, generates differential color information between color data of the marker in the taken image and color data of the marker in the print image data, displays a virtual object which reproduces the print image data in the display unit, sets an object adjustment value for adjusting a color tone of the virtual object displayed on the display unit based on the differential color information, and calculates a print adjustment value for adjusting a color tone reproduced by the image forming apparatus based on the object adjustment value.
Printing system, image display apparatus, image display method, and non-transitory computer readable medium
A printing system including a client device which generates a job including a pair of first image data and attachment data, and a printing apparatus which includes a paper accommodation unit accommodating paper, receives the job from the client device, converts the first image data into second image data for printing by RIP processing, and prints an image based on the second image data on paper, includes a job specification unit, an image generation unit, and an image display. The job specification unit specifies any job in a stage previous to the conversion into the second image data by the RIP processing. The image generation unit generates, based on the attachment data forming the job specified by the job specification unit, an image obtained by editing a thumbnail image based on the first image data to a printing layout. The display displays the image generated by the image generation unit.
Printer cartridges and memory devices containing compressed multi-dimensional color tables
In one example in accordance with the present disclosure a printer cartridge and memory device containing a representation of a compressed multi-dimensional color table is described. The color table includes at least one low dimensional portion of the multi-dimensional color table storing color transformation information at a first resolution and a number of remaining portions of the multi-dimensional color table storing color transformation information at a second resolution. In the color table, the first resolution is greater than the second resolution and the at least one compressed multi-dimensional color table is to generate a high resolution uncompressed multi-dimensional color table the high resolution being at least as great as the first resolution.
CUT-OUT PRINTING SYSTEM
Methods and systems for printing and cutting are described. Methods include generating an output image by placing a plurality of input images into an output image, identifying white space in one of the plurality of input images, determining the largest one of remaining ones of the plurality of input images that will fit the white space having been identified, locating the largest one of the remaining ones of the plurality of input images having been determined in the white space, and generating the output image comprising one of the plurality of input images and the largest one of the remaining ones of the plurality of input images having been positioned in the white space.
