Methods and systems for printing a document having pages with different margins
The present disclosure discloses methods and systems for printing a document having pages with different margins. The method includes receiving a document having a plurality of pages for printing, wherein the document having a combination of pages to be printed in first pre-determined sheets and second pre-determined sheets. A margin value for each page of the document is automatically identified. Based on the identification, one or more pages having margin value greater than a pre-defined margin value is automatically identified. The one or more pages with greater margin value are marked to be printed in the first pre-determined sheets and the remaining pages are marked to be printed in the second pre-determined sheets. Finally, information is sent to a printer to print the one or more pages having a greater margin value in the first pre-determined sheets and to print the remaining pages in the second pre-determined sheets.
Printing apparatus and control method
If it is determined that a recording medium is set in a first set portion and a recording medium is not set in a second set portion and a print target image is not included in a first region and a print target image is included in a second region in printing data, the printing data is edited so that the print target image included in the second region is printed onto the first set portion and is not printed onto the second set portion.
Image processing method, image processing apparatus, and computer program product
An image processing method generates image data of an image made up of a plurality of dots and having resolution in a first direction and resolution in a second direction. The second direction intersects the first direction. The resolution in the first direction is different from the resolution in the second direction. The image processing method includes performing contour portion correction including adding a dot at a correction target pixel, the correction target pixel being a pixel adjacent to a step-like contour portion in the image, and when a dot is arranged at a pixel adjacent to a pixel of interest adjacent to the correction target pixel, deleting the dot at the pixel of interest.
Pharmacy printer system and method
A computer network system and method for printing accompanying information and prescription labels in pharmacies, comprises: a central CS; a PMS; a data transmission network through which said PMS and said central CS can communicate; wherein said PMS includes an I/O terminal, a scanner, and a first printer; wherein said PMS includes a PMS SO and a Catalina SO; said PMS SO is configured to receive and store prescription information for a prescription, and to associate a prescription identification with said prescription; said Catalina SO is configure to select accompanying information for said prescription, to format and save said accompanying information in an accompanying information print file; and said PMS is configured to print a prescription label for said prescription and said accompanying information print file.
Image processing system, image generation-output control apparatus, and method of processing information, configured to use imposition conversion
An image processing system for executing a plurality of processes includes a process execution control apparatus, and image generation-output control apparatuses of different types. The process execution control apparatus includes a process execution controller to control the processes, and to transmit a command information to the image generation-output control apparatuses. Each of the image generation-output control apparatuses includes a command information converter to convert the command information to a format processable by the image generation-output control apparatus, an imposition convertor to convert initial designation information to imposition process information processable by the image generation-output control apparatus, and an image drawing information generator to generate image drawing information.
Image processing apparatus for expansion processing
Embodiments may include a reception processor that receives image data corresponding to an image including a plurality of image objects. A controller may determine whether image objects are in contact with a boundary of a printing area of medium, and, based on a result of the determination, may perform expansion processing on one of the plurality of image objects that is in contact with the boundary of the printing area of the medium to expand image objects in contact with the boundary of the printing area and does not perform expansion processing on image objects not in contact with the boundary of the printing area of the medium such image objects not in contact with the boundary of the printing area are not expanded. Expansion image data including the expanded image objects and image objects on which expansion processing is not performed may be generated and output.
PRINTING DEVICE, PRINTING METHOD, AND STORAGE MEDIUM, FOR ROTATING IMAGE DATA
A printing device displays a preview image of received image data, receives, based on the previewed image, an instruction to rotate the received image, rotates the received image data based on the received rotation instruction, and prints the rotated image data.
METHOD OF PRINTING
A printing method for printing an image exceeding an available size constraint of a printer comprises the steps of: providing a digital raster image comprising a plurality of pixels, the raster image comprising color and height information for each pixel; providing an algorithm for determining an optimal division of the digital image into a plurality of parts based on the information of the plurality of pixels of the raster image; image processing of the raster image comprising the step of applying the algorithm to the raster image to obtain a plurality of partial images defined by a plurality of accompanying contours; providing a substrate; printing an obtained partial image; cutting a panel from the substrate in accordance with an accompanying contour of a partial image. The present invention further relates to a printed object manufactured with the invented method and to a printer comprising a controller configured for performing the invented method.
NON-TRANSITORY COMPUTER READABLE MEDIUM, PRINTING CONTROL METHOD,PRINTING CONTROL DEVICE, AND PRINTING SYSTEM
There is provided a printing control device. A setting unit sets a sorting priority mode that causes a printing device to perform printing using a recording sheet in which the difference from the recording sheet size designated by a current print job mounted on the printing device is within a predetermined range, in a case where a recording sheet with a same size as the recording sheet designated by the current print job is not mounted on the printing device, and a recording sheet which has a recording sheet size that is printable without reducing the printing range, and for which the difference from the size of the recording sheet designated by the current print job is within a predetermined range is mounted on the printing device in a sheet feed direction different from the sheet feed direction of the recording sheet of the previous print job.
IMAGE FORMING APPARATUS HAVING FUNCTION OF ADJUSTING PRINT POSITION
An image forming apparatus that suppresses print position displacement. The image forming apparatus includes a plurality of sheet storage sections configured to store sheets. A sheet storage section to be used is selected out of the plurality of sheet storage sections. An image is formed on a sheet supplied from the selected sheet storage section and the image position is adjusted using adjustment values associated with the selected sheet storage section. When an update action performed by sheet replenishment or sheet replacement is detected for a sheet storage section, the sheet storage section for which the update action has been detected is controlled so as not to be selected by the selection unit until a predetermined time period elapses after detection of the update action.
