Print control apparatus, non-transitory computer readable medium, and print system having erase processing including data overwriting
A print control apparatus includes a memory, a print processing unit, and an erase processing unit. The memory stores one or more pieces of print data each representing print content and being subjected to a print process. The print processing unit performs the print process for a piece of print data stored in the memory, and generates a piece of post-process data that represents print content. The erase processing unit moves, to a trash or a deletion folder, a piece of data for which the print process has been performed among one or more pieces of data stored in the print processing unit, and performs an erase process for a storage area of the piece of data that has been moved, the erase process being a process of data overwriting and being performed in parallel with the print process that is performed for another piece of print data.
Colorspace encoding multimedia data on a physical page
Techniques to improve storage of information, including encoding of multimedia data on physical pages. Some techniques include logic configured to encode multimedia data pursuant to a colorspace scheme and on a piece of paper. The logic may further be configured to generate one or more colorspaces associated with the multimedia data, perform colorspace conversions based on the generated colorspaces, and encode the multimedia data pursuant to the colorspace conversions. The logic may be further configured to apply one or both of an ultraviolet layer and an infrared layer to the physical page, e.g. paper, in order to further enhance security and provide an additional vehicle for storing and encoding data on the physical page, e.g. paper. The logic may further be configured to provide a scanning device with the ability to scan and decode the encoded data one the sheet of paper. Other embodiments are described and claimed.
INFORMATION PROCESSING APPARATUS, METHOD FOR INFORMATION PROCESSING APPARATUS, AND STORAGE MEDIUM
An information processing apparatus to communicate with an external apparatus includes a reception unit, an execution unit, a setting unit, and a determination unit. The reception unit receives data described in Postscript from the external apparatus. The execution unit executes processing based on a command described in the data received by the reception unit. The setting unit performs a predetermined setting regarding execution of the processing. The determination unit determines, in a case where the reception unit receives data in which a command associated with a superexec operator is described, whether the execution unit executes the processing based on the command using the predetermined setting.
Methods, systems, apparatuses and devices for facilitating printing of a digital image based on image splitting
A method of facilitating printing of a digital image based on image splitting is disclosed. The method may include receiving, using a communication device, the digital image from a user device. Further, the method may include analyzing, using a processing device, the digital image. Further, the method may include determining, using the processing device, at least one image characteristic based on the analyzing of the digital image. Further, the method may include generating, using the processing device, a plurality of image segments based on the at least one image characteristic. Further, the method may include storing, using a storage device, the plurality of image segments. Further, the method may include transmitting, using the communication device, the plurality of image segments to the user device.
PRINTING APPARATUS, CONTROL METHOD OF PRINTING APPARATUS AND STORAGE MEDIUM
The present invention is a printing apparatus including: a conveyance unit configured to convey a printing medium; an encoder that outputs a predetermined signal in accordance with a drive amount of the conveyance unit; a print head in which a plurality of nozzle rows in which a plurality of nozzles ejecting ink is arrayed is arrayed side by side in a direction intersecting with a conveyance direction of the printing medium; and a print engine connected with the print head and performing conversion processing from image data into print data, and the print engine: has a first buffer storing the image data; has a second buffer storing the print data; and converts image data stored in the first buffer into print data and stores the print data in the second buffer, in response to a first interrupt signal based on the predetermined signal output from the encoder.

Storing preflight data of a print job based on page ranges
System and methods for storing preflight data of a print job based on page ranges. In one embodiment, an apparatus includes an interface and a preflight system. The interface receives a print job and a job ticket. The preflight system processes the print job and the job ticket to determine multiple page ranges in the print job that have a similar print attribute throughout their page range. The preflight system also establishes a sheet object in memory for each page range.
Printing apparatus that prints images received from a plurality of external apparatuses, method of controlling the same, and storage medium
A technique for controlling a printing apparatus, which makes it possible to print image data items received from a plurality of external apparatuses on one recording sheet. The printing apparatus is capable of performing wireless communication with a plurality of external apparatuses, and prints images received from the plurality of external apparatuses on a sheet. When the number of images received from the plurality of external apparatuses reaches a specified number, the specified number of received images are printed on one sheet.
IMAGE PROCESSING APPARATUS, PAPER THICKNESS ESTIMATION PROGRAM, AND METHOD FOR ESTIMATING PAPER THICKNESS
An image processing apparatus includes: a reader that reads a paper sheet with a background plate serving as a background; and a hardware processor, wherein the hardware processor: obtains, from the reader, a first color value in which an image on one side of the paper sheet is read, a second color value in which a ground color of the other side of the paper sheet is read, and a third color value in which a portion corresponding to the image on the other side of the paper sheet is read; and estimates a thickness of the paper sheet on the basis of the first to third color values while referring to a predetermined table.
