Image processing apparatus, image processing method for suppressing decrease in sharpness of superimpose image, and storage medium
An image processing apparatus that generates image data to generate a image by superimposing a first output image that is output from a first image output apparatus and a second output image that is output from a second image output apparatus, includes a first obtaining unit configured to obtain input image data, a second obtaining unit configured to obtain first output image data to be output to the first image output apparatus, and a generation unit configured to generate second output image data to be output to the second image output apparatus based on the input image data and the first output image data, in which a sharpness of an image represented by the second output image data is in accordance with a sharpness of an image represented by the first output image data.
Inline printable duplex color filters
Systems and methods are described for inline rendering of a color filter within a print job. A program associated with a printing system can select an overhead transparency media to serve as a color filter during inline print job finishing. A duplex path and finishing for the transparency media can be enabled on the printing system by the program. A first side of the overhead transparency media can be printed on with one or more colors by the printing system by the program. A transform can be used on a second side of the overhead transparency media to correct for front to back registration and includes one or more colors printed directly underneath colors printed on the first side by the program. The transparency medium including color filters can be inserted into pages of the print job, which can be rendered in the form of a bound book.
BLENDING PIXEL CELLS
A method includes receiving compressed data representing a page of a document that is associated with a plurality of cell lines. A given cell line of the plurality of cell lines includes a given cell, and the given cell is associated with a plurality of intersecting objects. The technique includes blending a first cell associated with a first object of the plurality of objects with a second cell that is associated with at least one other object of the plurality of objects to provide printer raster image data for the given cell. The blending includes determining whether the first and second cells are both edge cells; and in response to determining that the first and second cells are both edge cells, decompressing the compressed data corresponding to the first and second cells to provide decompressed data, and blending the first and second cells based on the decompressed data.
Image processing apparatus that performs pixel synthesis processing and image processing method
An image processing apparatus capable of performing pixel synthesis processing at high speed. Synthesis processing of a first object and a second object is performed for an area where the first object and the second object overlap each other. A first image formation processor stores first pixel data, which corresponds to the area, of pixel data of the first object, in a first communication memory and stores second pixel data, which corresponds to the area, of pixel data of the second object, in a second communication memory. A second image formation processor acquires the first and second pixel data from the first and second communication memories, respectively, and performs synthesis processing of the acquired first and second pixel data.
Information processing apparatus, image forming apparatus, information processing method, and storage medium
An information processing apparatus generates a signal value for forming an image of an object as a recording layer on a recording medium. The apparatus inputs a characteristic of specular reflection light, a characteristic of internal diffuse reflection light, and a characteristic of surficial diffuse reflection light. Then, the apparatus derives, based on the characteristic of the internal diffuse reflection light, a first signal value for a first recording layer to be formed on the recording medium, and derives, based on the characteristic of the specular reflection light and the characteristic of the surficial diffuse reflection light, a second signal value for a second recording layer different from the first recording layer to be formed on the recording medium.
IMAGE FORMING APPARATUS AND IMAGE FORMING METHOD
An image forming apparatus includes an image forming portion, an image reading portion, an analysis processing portion, a generation processing portion, and a printing processing portion. The image forming portion forms an image on a paper sheet. The image reading portion reads a first image from a printed side of a used paper sheet supplied from a sheet feed portion. The analysis processing portion analyzes content of the first image read by the image reading portion. The generation processing portion generates, based on the content of the first image analyzed by the analysis processing portion, a second image that degrades visibility of the first image when the second image is superimposed on the first image. The printing processing portion causes the image forming portion to execute a printing process such that the second image generated by the generation processing portion is superimposed on the first image on the printed side.
IMAGE PROCESSING APPARATUS CAPABLE OF MERGING CHARACTER STRINGS WITH ORIGINAL IMAGE, CONTROL METHOD THEREFOR, AND STORAGE MEDIUM
An image processing apparatus which is capable of merging character strings with an original image without causing garbling. A first storage unit stores first character codes corresponding to a first language in accordance with administrator's input. A second storage unit stores a second character codes corresponding to a second character in accordance with login user's input. A reading unit reads an original image in accordance with login user's input. A generation unit generates a first character image corresponding to the first language on the basis of the first character codes and generates a second character image corresponding to the second language on the basis of the second character codes. A printing unit carries out a printing process based on the first character image, the second character image and the original image.
GENERATING RASTERIZED MODIFIED IMAGES FROM A RASTERIZED SEED IMAGE
In an example, a method includes rasterizing a seed image using a processor. A plurality of rasterized modified images may be generated from the rasterized seed image. Generating each rasterized modified image may include determining an image attribute modification and applying the determined image attribute modification to at least a portion of the rasterized seed image to generate the rasterized modified image.
Methods and systems for logical cell based orientation in N-up copying or printing
Embodiments of the present disclosure include methods and systems for altering an orientation of a logical cell at a multi-function device. In one embodiment, before rasterization, a user submits a job having multiple pages and an initial instruction to arrange n number of pages on a single medium. Each page has a pre-defined orientation. Another instruction is received to alter a pre-defined orientation of a selected page in the corresponding logical cell. An N-up operation is performed to arrange the n number of pages on the single medium. Each page arranged on the single medium represents a logical cell. While performing the N-up operation, the pre-defined orientation of a logical cell corresponding to the selected page is altered. The logical cell with the altered orientation is printed and the remaining logical cells with respective pre-defined orientation are printed on the single medium.
