A system and method for providing animated feedback for a barcode scanning system may include receiving image data from a camera, processing the image data, detecting a machine-readable indicia in the image data, and attempting to decode the machine-readable indicia. In response to successfully decoding the machine-readable indicia, displaying a first animation indicative of successfully decoding the machine-readable indicia. Otherwise, in response to not successfully decoding the machine-readable indicia, displaying a second animation indicative of not successfully decoding the machine-readable indicia.
Label issuing method for logistics management using multiple code symbols
A label issuing system includes a label issuing apparatus and a label printer. The label issuing apparatus includes a printer interface and a processor. The processor is configured to generate print data for an image including a first region with first information and a second region with a first code symbol and a second code symbol each representing the first information but being of different sizes. The processor controls the printer interface to transmit the print data to the label printer. The label printer is connectable to the printer interface and configured to print the image on a label based on the print data received through the printer interface symbol.

Accordingly, an information code reading device captures images of the display screen at imaging intervals according to a second rule which is received from the server by in response to a second request to the server to decode an information code composed of the plurality of images thus captured, according to the second rule.

An information medium according to an embodiment of the present disclosure includes two or more data layers provided on a support base. The two or more data layers have two or more pieces of visible information recorded on the two or more data layers. The two or more pieces of visible information are obtained by decomposing two-dimensional visible information and thereby allowing synthesis of the two or more pieces of visible information to result in the two-dimensional visible information.
Method of authentication
A method, of authenticating a user with a service and a server having means to enable a user to be authenticated with a service. The method having the steps of, the user requesting a session with the service on a first device. The server requesting a unique code from a host server, the host server generating the unique code, associating it with a session-identifier. The session-identifier containing information relating to the code request. The host server then sending the unique code, which does not contain the session-identifier, to the service. The server then optically presents the unique code to the user on a display of the first device. The code is then acquired by a verification application running on a second device. Optionally the first device and the second device may be the same device. The second device is previously registered with the host server. The verification application sends the unique code, and device-identifying information of the second device, to the host server. The host server, on receiving the unique code and device-identifying information, uses the unique code to retrieve the session-identifier, and uses the device-identifying information to retrieve associated user-identifying information. This user-identifying information is stored on the host server. The host server then sends the user-identifying information to the service.

Machine-Readable Tape
Exemplary embodiments use a single, physical embodiment that compiles independent machine-readable codes together with little to no space in between codes. This physical embodiment is in two primary forms—adhesive tape or fabric strips with hook and loop backing. A code reader device, with software compatible with the machine-readable codes, can rapidly or simultaneously aggregate independent codes together on the physical embodiment in order to assign them to one or more digital addresses.

DETERMINING SPATIAL DISTANCE USING ENCODING SIGNALS
The present disclosure relates generally to signal encoding for containers such as shipping boxes, food containers, wrapped items such as pallets. One aspect of the technology relates to an image processing method for determining spatial dimensions of an encoded surface. The method comprises: obtaining an image depicting the encoded surface, in which the encoded surface comprises one or more raw data signal tiles printed thereon, with each tile comprising a side length N in inches or centimeters; detecting each of the one or more raw data signal tiles from the obtained image; determining a total number of tiles in a vertical direction, and determining a total number of tiles in a horizontal direction; determining a height and length of the encoded surface by multiplying each of the total number of tiles in a vertical direction and the total number of tiles in a horizontal direction by the side length N.
