At least some embodiments of the present invention relate to approaches for displaying encoded information and systems used to capture said information. In an embodiment, the present invention is a method that includes: providing a product packaging having a first face; providing a first symbology on the first face; providing a second symbology on the first face; and providing a third symbology on the first face, wherein the second symbology is the first symbology distorted in accordance with a first distortion function, the first distortion function distorting at least one of an aspect ratio and a skew pursuant to a first parameter; and wherein the third symbology is the first symbology distorted in accordance with a second distortion function, the second distortion function distorting at least one of the aspect ratio and the skew pursuant to a second parameter, the second parameter being different from the first parameter.

A single dual-sided product placement and information strip includes a first side with product information for consumers and a second side with product placement information for placing products on a display shelf. The dual-sided product placement and information strip enables information necessary for consumers to be printed on the first (consumer-facing) side and information that assists stockers to place products on shelves to be printed on the second (opposing) side. Also disclosed are systems and methods for formatting and printing the dual-sided product placement and information strips. The single dual-sided product placement and information strip may be printed alone or in a single sheet along with one or more other dual-sided product placement and information strips.

A personalized pattern-based commodity virtual code assignment method and system, which assign commodity codes to commodities but not print out. The present invention prints a naturally formed, two-dimensional and random personalized feature pattern on each commodity with the traditional processes such as forme-based printing; collects personalized feature information and assigns commodity codes; and associates and stores the personalized feature information and the commodity codes into a preset database. The commodity code can be retrieved and acquired from the database by scanning the personalized feature pattern on a commodity with a client. With the present invention, code assignment can be conducted without a digital printer, so no digital printing process is required, and the code assignment cost can be reduced. With the method of printing personalized patterns and associating commodity codes, the present invention opens up another way to realize commodity code assignment and creates the code assignment of non-digital printers.

A system, method, and computer-readable medium for decoding an encoded geometry, comprising: scanning an encoded geometry, the scanning comprising scanning a plurality of multi-dimensional symbols of the encoded geometry; identifying each of the plurality of multi-dimensional symbols; decoding each identifier multi-dimensional symbol to provide encoded geometry information; accessing an encoded geometry repository; and, retrieving data associated with the encoded geometry information.

In systems and methods of managing a document with an authenticated document biosignature, a processor of a verification device may receive an image based on a user selection. The processor may calculate a base verification score associated with a user based on at least one identification input, the identification input comprising one or more identification features, wherein at least one of the identification features includes a biometric identification feature. The processor of the verification device may receive restricted access information, and may generate a glyph based on the base verification score, the at least one identification input, the selected image, and the restricted access information. The processor of the verification device may associate the glyph with a document.
