The present invention discloses a moving mechanism including a support; a driving device mounted on the support; a controller arranged on the support; two sets of moving assemblies respectively mounted at two ends of the support; wherein each of the moving assemblies includes a track and two synchronous wheels of different diameters arranged inside the track, such that the moving mechanism could be functioned and run freely over stairs, rugged road surface and all-terrain ground under the action of the driving device and the controller. The present invention also discloses electric vehicles and toys equipping the moving mechanism. The moving mechanism of the present invention overcomes shortcomings of conventional moving mechanisms by making use of a breakthrough composite structure of a half-wheel-half-track configuration in combination with an additional omni-directional wheel, whereby the moving mechanism and the electric vehicles and toys equipping the same are adaptable to different road surfaces and stairs of various angles, and also very convenient and reliable to use.

The pair of armrests includes an arm pad, a sleeve configured to store a plurality of telescoping segments, and a pivot portion positioned between the arm pad and the sleeve. The plurality of telescoping segments is configured to extend in a system vertical direction. The pair of armrests is releasably coupled to the frame at the sleeve via a release mechanism. The pair of armrests is pivotable between a first position and a second position wherein when in the first position the pair of armrests is in an armrest position and in the second position the pair of armrests is pivoted in the system vertical direction such that the pair of armrests is a pair of crutches independently operable from the wheelchair.

Embodiments described herein are directed to a wheelchair system that includes a wheelchair and an exoskeleton. The wheelchair includes a frame, a pair of armrests coupled to the frame, and a control unit. The pair of armrests movable between an attached position and a detached position. When in the attached position, each one of the pair of armrests are coupled to the frame and when in the detached position, each one of the pair of armrests is removed from the frame. The exoskeleton is communicatively coupled to the control unit via a cable extending between the exoskeleton and the control unit. The exoskeleton being releasably coupled to at least a portion of the frame of the wheelchair. The wheelchair system is translatable between a wheelchair mode and an exoskeleton mode such that, when in the exoskeleton mode, the control unit provides electrical power and control signals to the exoskeleton.
