COMMEMORATIVE ITEM INCLUDING VIRTUAL COMPONENT
Commemorative items configured to allow a person encountering a physical commemorative item to access virtual content associated with the commemorative item are disclosed. An exemplary a commemorative item includes a physical commemorative item and a link to a virtual content associated with the physical commemorative item. The link is provided in proximity to the physical commemorative item.
Spatially addressable molecular barcoding
The disclosure provides for methods, compositions, systems, devices, and kits for determining the number of distinct targets in distinct spatial locations within a sample. In some examples, the methods include: stochastically barcoding the plurality of targets in the sample using a plurality of stochastic barcodes, wherein each of the plurality of stochastic barcodes comprises a spatial label and a molecular label; estimating the number of each of the plurality of targets using the molecular label; and identifying the spatial location of each of the plurality of targets using the spatial label. The method can be multiplexed.

Method and Apparatus for Generating Anti-Forgery Image
A method and an apparatus for generating an anti-forgery image are provided. The method includes: determining, according to a rule for setting bits, related parameters; determining a combination quantity of bits, according to the parameters; acquiring a width, height and code numeric value of the anti-forgery image to be generated and requesting a memory space for the anti-forgery image to be generated according to the width and height of the anti-forgery image to be generated; determining positions of the code points in the bits according to the parameters; determining the image cell's initial coordinate in the anti-forgery image to be generated according to a rule for setting coordinates; and drawing the image cell in the memory space according to the image cell's initial coordinate in the anti-forgery image to be generated, where the drawn image cell forms the anti-forgery image.
Image and quick art response code system
Disclosed herein are methods of using an augmented reality trigger to locate and/or read a Data Code in an image. A method according to this disclosure may include the step of using an augmented reality trigger in an image to initiate an augmented reality experience, locating portions of Data Code arrange in a plurality of locations within the image, and combining each of the Data Code portions for processing as a unified Data Code. The augmented reality trigger may be stored in a data set including location information to locate each of the Data Code portions. The data set may include information to combine the plurality of Data Code portions.
Provisioning an Embedded Universal Integrated Circuit Card (eUICC) of a Mobile Communication Device
A method of provisioning an eUICC of a mobile communication device. The method comprises sending a GSMA confirm order request from an eUICC provisioning application executing on a computer system to a SM-DP+ server, wherein the confirm order comprises an ICCID and a FQDN of a discovery server; in response to receiving a GSMA confirm order response indicating a failure of the discovery server, determining by the eUICC provisioning application that a mobile communication device associated with the ICCID is configured with an LPA application that is able to complete an alternative eSIM profile provisioning process using a scanning device to capture an activation code; generating an activation code by the eUICC provisioning application that encodes an address of the SM-DP+ server and the ICCID; and sending the activation code by the eUICC provisioning application to an email account associated with a user of the mobile communication device.
Machine-readable label generator
Software tools disclosed herein may allow a user to enter design choices that alter an aesthetic appearance of a machine-readable label such that modules included in the label deviate from a standardized definition for the modules. Such alterations may include changes in size, color and orientation of modules. The alterations may allow a user to create machine-readable labels having unique aesthetic appearances. A software engine may ensure that, despite the aesthetic design choices entered by a user, the generated machine-readable label is reliably scannable.
ARTWORK GENERATED TO CONVEY DIGITAL MESSAGES, AND METHODS/APPARATUSES FOR GENERATING SUCH ARTWORK
2D machine readable symbologies are stylized and made aesthetically-appealing, facilitating their use to convey plural-symbol data on product packaging and other articles. In some arrangements, symbologies are stylized by geometric transformations (e.g., by multiple rotation and/or mirroring operations) to develop tiles having organized geometric structures. Such stylized symbologies can be decoded by existing code readers. A great variety of other features and arrangements are also detailed.
Composite information bearing devices
A composite information bearing device comprising an image pattern and a human readable data device. The human readable data device includes a set of human readable data symbols representing a first set of data. The first set of data includes a first data portion and a second data portion. The image pattern represents a second set of data and comprises a third data portion. One of the first or said second data portions is to form an identification code upon combination or concatenation with said third data portion, and the other one of said first or said second data portions not forming part of said identification code is to form a verification code, the verification code being related to said identification code by a scheme of operation.
CRYPTOCURRENCY TRANSACTIONS WITH SYNCHRONIZED IMAGES
A value is exchanged between accounts held by users of two portable electronic devices. The devices synchronize disappearance of the image at the sending device and appearance of the image at the receiving device to give the impression that a physical object representative of the value has been exchanged (e.g., handed) between the users.
