METHOD FOR PROVIDING A CODE PATTERN
In accordance with a first aspect of the present disclosure, a method for providing a code pattern which is readable by a sensor is conceived, the method comprising: defining a plurality of coding positions as a subset of positions in a two-dimensional matrix; including in said subset a plurality of positions which are diagonally adjacent to each other; selectively creating coding marks, such as coding dots, at the coding positions. In accordance with a second aspect of the present disclosure, a corresponding code pattern is provided.
Systems and methods for establishing a communication channel based on a code
There is provided an adornment having a machine readable code integrated therein for establishing a communication channel over a network between a computing device and a server, the adornment comprising an adornment body sized and shaped for wearing on an appendage of a body of a human, wherein the machine readable code comprises a plurality of gems which are inlaid in the adornment body, wherein the machine readable code encodes an identifier for establishing the communication channel between a computing device imaging said plurality of gems and a remote data storage device storing at least one media content item designated for presentation on a display of the computing device.
NANOTAGS FOR AUTHENTICATION
A method for creating a nanostructure surface, comprises creating a nanostructure master having a surface being the negative of a shape that, when illuminated with a predefined illumination, provides a unique optical pattern; and creating nanostructure molds from the nanostructure master, wherein each nanostructure mold has a negative of the master surface which, when illuminated with the predefined illumination, provides the unique optical pattern, which may be a hologram. A nanotag may incorporate an image for identification and a unique pattern that can be identified for authentication.
Optical anti-counterfeiting component and optical anti-counterfeiting product
The present invention discloses an optical anti-counterfeiting component and an optical anti-counterfeiting product. The optical anti-counterfeiting component comprises: a substrate; a sub-wavelength surface micro-structure and an optical reflection facet formed on an upper surface of the substrate; and a multi-layer structured coating formed on the sub-wavelength surface micro-structure and the optical reflection facet. In the case where the same multi-layer structured coating is used, a contrasting optical characteristic is formed between the region in which the sub-wavelength surface micro-structure and the multi-layer structured coating lie and the region in which the optical reflection facet and the multi-layer structured coating lie, so that the optical anti-counterfeiting component or the optical anti-counterfeiting product that includes the optical anti-counterfeiting component can be identified easily and has high anti-counterfeiting capability.
DEVICE AND METHOD FOR PRODUCING AND DETECTING A FORGERY-PROOF IDENTIFICATION
The invention relates to a method and a device (100) for forming a two-dimensional or three-dimensional micro-structured identification structure (200) in a defined surface region (12) in a surface (11) of a component (10) or product.
Marking on injection moulded parts for energy guiding chains
An injection-moulded plastic part for a cable carrier, particularly a side part of a chain link produced in an injection moulding process. The injection moulded part has a visible, identifiable marking on a first side, particularly the outside. The at least one marking comprises a data code marking having a 2D code for data encoding which is introduced into the plastic body directly in the injection moulding process so that said marking is provided on the first side to be machine-readable. The invention likewise relates to a corresponding injection moulding tool having a number of first symbol regions and second symbol regions for producing the data code marking in the injection moulding process.
VEHICLE GRILLE
The present disclosure relates to a vehicle grille configured to be mounted to a front of a vehicle body, wherein the vehicle grille comprises a grating structure through which air is receivable into the vehicle, wherein at least a portion of said grating structure is shaped as a scannable matrix structure forming a code pattern. The present disclosure also relates to a vehicle comprising such a vehicle grille. The present disclosure further relates to a data access system which comprises such a vehicle and a remote server containing data associated with said vehicle, said data being accessible by a camera-equipped communication device, such as a mobile phone, when scanning said scannable matrix structure.
Screw nut with barcode pattern segments
A screw nut includes a through hole defined by the screw nut, an internal thread that projects into the through hole, and a face that surrounds the through hole. At least three barcode patterns are disposed on the face where the at least three barcode patterns have an identical content.
Freshness sensor devices and related methods
A device for detecting freshness of a perishable item is provided. The device includes at least one sensor for detecting an analyte of interest in the perishable item. The device further includes an integrated circuit for converting information detected by the sensor into a signal. The device also includes an antenna portion for receiving and transmitting the signal from the integrated circuit. The at least one sensor, integrated circuit and antenna portion are printed on a single sheet such that the device is unitary.
MEMORY CARD
A memory card includes a case including a first case portion and a second case portion that is coupled to the first case portion, an integrated circuit package located in the case, and a marking layer located in the case, wherein the second case portion includes a through-hole, wherein the marking layer is exposed to an outside through the through-hole.
