System And Method For Quality Management Utilizing Barcode Indicators
A quality management system for products including a multiplicity of barcoded quality indicators, a barcode indicator reader and a product type responsive indication interpreter, each of the barcoded quality indicators including a first barcode including at least one first colorable area, the first barcode being machine-readable before exceedance of the at least one time and temperature threshold, at least a second barcode including at least one second colorable area, the second barcode not being machine-readable before exceedance of the at least one time and temperature threshold, a coloring agent located at a first location on the indicator and a coloring agent pathway operative to allow the coloring agent to move, from the first location to the first and second colorable areas simultaneously thereby causing the first barcode to become unreadable and at the same time causing the second barcode to become machine-readable.
System and method for transmitting financial information via color matrix code
An apparatus may include a memory to store instructions; and processing circuitry, coupled with the memory, operable to execute the instructions. When executed, the instructions may cause the processing circuitry to identify a matrix code; read a first layer of the matrix code, the first layer comprising a first account identifier associated with an account, wherein the first layer corresponds to a first color channel; and read a second layer of the matrix code, the second layer comprising a set of account data, associated with the account, wherein the second layer corresponds to a second color channel, different than the first color channel.

Described is a device formed by at least two layers, one of which is invariable and contains a visual code with error correction capacity, and at least one layer that is variable according to particular physical or chemical conditions. The invention also relates to a method for creating these devices and encoding the messages included in same; a method for reading or decoding the information contained in the devices; and a system capable of analysing and decoding the information contained in the messages of the device.
Decoder and encoder for a digital fingerprint code
A method to encode and decode a digital fingerprint code by an identification encoder and an identification decoder wherein the digital fingerprint code includes a plurality of N-bit data embedded on a set of curves by changed thicknesses in the curves.
Image Projection Device
An image projection device is disclosed having a body defining an aperture that includes a slide frame receiving slot that is transverse to the aperture and a magnifying lens positioned in alignment with the aperture at the front of the body. The image projection device can be attached to a mobile device and uses the camera flash of the mobile device to provide the light source to illuminate a slide transparency. The mobile device can identify a particular slide transparency through information encoded on the slide frame in order to coordinate audio or video output with the projected slide.
Color bar code and code determining system
A color bar code comprising a code block is disclosed. The code block comprises: a header region, comprising a specific color; and a code region, comprising at least two code color bars with different color kinds, wherein a color sequence of the code color bars indicates a code. The code color bars form concentric layers surrounding the header region. Such color bar code can comprise more information and the contained therein is more easily to be acquired. A code determining system which can determine the code in the color bar code is also disclosed.
Method of marking a fiber optic connector for low-loss optical connections
A method and system for reading a marker embedded in a fiber optic connector, and a connector configured to be read by the method and system. The connector includes an outer assembly and a marker that is overlaid by the outer assembly. To read the marker, the connector is illuminated with an illuminating light in a first spectral band, and an image is formed using the light within the first spectral band that is reflected from the fiber optic connector. The reflected light includes at least a portion of the illuminating light which was transmitted through the outer assembly and reflected back toward a reader by the marker. Data contained in the marker is then extracted from the image.
METHOD OF DETECTING A CONCEALED PATTERN
A method for detecting a component including a concealed pattern includes: detecting infrared electromagnetic radiation reflected or emitted by a component including a first pattern, the component including: a substrate; the first pattern disposed over at least a portion of the substrate; an optional primer layer disposed between at least a portion of the substrate and at least a portion of the first pattern; and a first visibly opaque layer including an infrared transparent pigment, the first visibly opaque layer disposed over at least a portion of the first pattern; and comparing the reflectivity and/or absorbance of infrared electromagnetic radiation by the first pattern at one wavelength to the reflectivity and/or absorbance by the primer layer and/or the substrate at the same wavelength.
PER-CHANNEL COLOR BARCODES FOR DISPLAYS
A method of decoding a coherent RGB color barcode captured by a RGB camera includes: displaying a coherent RGB color barcode on the RGB display; capturing an image of the displayed barcode; performing a pilot block RGB color interference cancellation process to estimate a per pixel color interference; applying the per pixel color interference to the image of the displayed coherent RGB color barcode to extract each separate barcode of the coherent RGB color barcode; binarizing each of the three separate monochrome grey images of each barcode of the coherent RGB color barcode; and decoding each of the three separate binarized monochrome grey images to provide a decoded data for each barcode of the coherent RGB color barcode displayed on the RGB display. A method of decoding an incoherent RGB color barcode captured by a mobile device RGB camera is also described.
Secure package delivery receptacle with bar code
The secure package delivery receptacle with bar code is a container. The secure package delivery receptacle with bar code comprises a receiving box and a control circuit. The control circuit is contained in the receiving box. The receiving box is a hollow structure. The receiving box is configured for use with one or more packages. The receiving box securely receives and stores the one or more packages. The control circuit controls access into the hollow interior of the receiving box. The control circuit scans a bar code found on the one or more packages. The control circuit confirms that the scanned bar code is expected with an appropriate authority. Once the expected receipt is confirmed, the control circuit allows access into the receiving box for the delivery of one or more packages.
