Anterior support device for the lower limbs
The invention relates to the field of ergonomic furniture. The device (1) comprises an upper support element (8) for supporting the thighs and a lower support element (9) for supporting the legs or tibias, that can be separated by an open space (11) or recess for the knees. An assembly (7) formed by the two support elements (8, 9) is mounted so that it pivots around a horizontal axis (A) on a bearing structure (2, 6), wherein rotation of the assembly (7) enables the support elements (8, 9) to accompany the lower limbs of a user during a transition from one use position to another. The device (1) is incorporated into an apparatus for maintaining a standing or sitting-standing position, having at least one footrest (4, 5). The device is applicable to the arrangement of a workstation, such as a computer workstation or an industrial workstation.
Radio maps for location and/or positioning services
Inter-alia, a method is disclosed comprising: obtaining one or more first fallback objects indicative of a geographic area that is covered by one or more cells of a communication network; obtaining one or more pieces of cell information indicative of a number of positioning requests that a respective cell of the one or more cells has received; determining one or more second fallback objects out of the one or more fallback objects; determining for an area of the respective second fallback object in that the needed level of accuracy for determining a position is not achievable, one or more cells based at least partially on the one or more pieces of cell information; and outputting the determined one or more second fallback objects and/or the determined one or more cells for usage in a generation of a radio map. It is further disclosed an according apparatus, computer program and system.
Elevated height wheelchair
Embodiments of the present disclosure include a wheelchair configured to reposition an occupant between a lowered and a raised position. The wheelchair can include a frame, a seat moveable relative to the frame, a drive wheel, and one or more pairs of arm assemblies. The arm assembly includes a wheel configured to move from a first spatial location when the wheel chair is operating on flat, level ground to a second spatial location that is different than the first spatial location. Arm limiters can selectively engage the arm assembly based on at least one of a seat position, position of the arm assembly and surface conditions of ground surface. The arm limiters can limit the range of motion of the arm assembly and sometimes other operational aspects of the chair.
Care bed
A care bed includes a bed body provided with a groove and a wheelchair disposed in the groove. The wheelchair includes: a wheelchair support sequentially provided with a wheelchair back plate, a seat plate, a leg plate and a foot plate, and the seat plate is fixed to the wheelchair support; a double-traction lifting regulator disposed below a connection position between the wheelchair back plate and the seat plate; a locking member disposed on the double-traction lifting regulator; a first traction member connected to the locking member; and a second traction member connected to the locking member. When the wheelchair is combined with the bed body, the second traction member controls the locking member to be loosened; and when the wheelchair is separated from the bed body, the second traction member controls the locking member to be locked.
A TOILET CHAIR AND A METHOD FOR AIDING A PERSON IN GETTING UNDRESSED OR DRESSED BY MEANS OF A TOILET CHAIR
Disclosed is a toilet chair (1) comprising a chair back (2) including a head part (3) and a bottom part (4) and a seat (5) comprising a front part (6) and a rear part (8), wherein the seat (5) further comprises a toilet opening (7) through which a user may go to the toilet. The bottom part (4) and the rear part (8) are arranged next to each other and the bottom part (4) is arranged to be displaceable outwards in a direction towards the front of the chair (1) and the rear part (8) is arranged to be displaceable upwards in a direction towards the front of the chair (1). Methods for aiding a person in getting undressed or dressed by means of a toilet chair (1) and use of a toilet chair (1) is also disclosed.
Medical support apparatus with stand assistance
A chair includes a control system for moving the chair between seated and standing configurations to thereby help facility an occupant's egress out of, or ingress into, the chair. One or more controls are provided on the chair that enable the occupant to control the timing of when the chair's movement between the configurations starts, what speed the chair moves at, and when the chair stops. A caregiver control panel provides the caregiver with multiple options for dictating what aspects of the chair's movement between the configurations the occupant is able to control. In some embodiments, a controller dynamically adjusts the speed of the chair based on shifts in the occupant's weight during the transition between the standing and seated configurations, as detected by one or more force sensors. The force sensors may be integrated into the armrests, the seat, the backrest, a combination of these, or elsewhere.
Motorized wheelchair for improved mobility
A wheelchair assembly that enables an occupant to rotate their self from the seating position to the prone or kneeling prone position so that the occupant may use their arms to better reach and grasp without the aid of another person.
Easy to use portable manual standing wheelchair with safety features and for outdoor use
The invention is for a standing 3 wheeled wheelchair with a pivoted seat having link means, a dyad means, removable side handle actuator means, a lockable knee support with interlocking cam means, which enables the user to stand effortlessly and safely in the wheel chair.
Arm limiters that can selectively engage the arm assembly dependent on the position of the arm assembly and surface conditions of ground and can limit the range of motion of the arm assembly and sometimes other operational aspects of the chair.
