Unique secured product identification for gemstones
A unique secured product identification method, system, and apparatus for product such as precious gemstones prevent counterfeiting by incorporating a marked product with fake identification (ID) mark or fake barcode. Authentication process requires at least two identifying data sets, an overt mark or overt data and covert data. The overt data may be a unique product identifier like a barcode. Covert data may be any additional data derived from the specific product. Additional data points come from a created data point not originally part of the product, or a unique data point already existing in the product but not existing in any other similar product. Product is authenticated when the combination of data sets compared to original data sets creates positive product identification. Authentication may be done with centralized, or de-centralized databases. A partially or non-automated method may be implemented, for example, where a barcode links to a database.
GAMING CHIP AND MANAGEMENT SYSTEM
A management system includes a recording device recording an image of a gaming chip and an inspection device determining a type and authenticity of the gaming chip. The gaming chip has a multilayer structure in which both sides of a colored layer are sandwiched between light color layers, surface printing representing a type of the gaming chip is performed on outer sides of the light color layers, and an authenticity recognition mark is printed on the colored layer of an inside of the light color layers by an infrared absorbing material. A visible light camera photographs a visible light image of the surface printing, and an infrared light camera photographs an infrared image of the internal printing. The inspection device determines the type and authenticity of the gaming chip using the visible light image and the infrared image.
Authenticated barcode pattern
A system and method for hidden security feature detection, analysis and authentication using a smart device is disclosed. The smart device can detect and analyze hidden security features using the camera capability of the smart device to capture a digital image, and then analyze and authenticate that image using a security service including a database of security feature data, processing rules, and other information. The security service can support a variety of smart devices and security features. The smart device includes a security-specific autofocus function that allows the smart device to be positioned within a range of distances and angles from a target document that includes hidden/covert security feature(s). The smart device can display an enhanced image showing the hidden security feature(s) and/or report if the security feature is valid or invalid, along with related information, via beeps, vibration, display, text messaging, or other reporting capabilities.

Method for deploying large numbers of waste containers in a waste collection system
A method of redeploying waste containers in a waste collection system with an active or passive signal means requires a user to aim an optical character recognition reader at a waste container comprising a unique optical waste container identifier. The optical character recognition reader reads unique waste container optical identifier. The unique waste container optical identifier is converted to a unique electronically formatted waste container identifier. A unique radio frequency signal identifier is stored on a radio frequency emitting tag and associated with the unique electronically formatted waste container identifier. The radio frequency emitting tag is attached to the waste container.
Disposable Comprising A Security Element, Security Element and Method for Protecting, by the Manufacturer, Permissible Usage
The present disclosure relates to disposables for a usage application of a consumable in a medical apparatus, comprising a security element to protect against tampering or misuse by unauthorised third parties, wherein the security element has a first identification marking which materially forms a first manufacturer's identification code; the first identification marking is connected in a non-detachable manner to the disposable and is configured for uniquely identifying the disposable, such as with regard to a product type and/or product usage property, and is partially or completely concealed with a concealing means which is detachable in a non-destructive-free manner. Furthermore, methods for marking a disposable, methods for enabling a disposable in an associated consumption device, and methods for system-control of both aforementioned methods are proposed. Furthermore, the disclosure relates to associated control systems or associated computer programs for performing an aforementioned method, and to security elements.
OFFICIAL ACCOUNT QUICK RESPONSE CODE GENERATION METHOD AND SERVER, OFFICIAL ACCOUNT FOLLOWING METHOD AND SERVER, AND TERMINAL
The present disclosure relates to an official account quick response code generation method performed at a computer server, the method comprising: obtaining an association request, the association request comprising an operator identifier, an official account list, and authorization information of multiple official accounts in the official account list; obtaining description information corresponding to each official account from a corresponding official account server according to the authorization information of the official account; associatively storing the operator identifier, the official accounts, and the corresponding description information; obtaining a quick response code generation request, the quick response code generation request carrying the operator identifier and at least one to-be-promoted official account in the official account list; and generating a promotion link corresponding to the operator identifier according to the quick response code generation request, and converting the promotion link into a quick response code.

Transponder system for transmitting key-encrypted information and associated keys
A transponder (1) comprises at least one memory (MEM1, MEM2) for storing encrypted information (E_k(EPC, PI)) that has been encrypted by use of a key (k) and for storing the key (k) associated with the encrypted information (E_k(EPC, PI)). The transponder (1) is adapted to send the key (k) slower response than the encrypted information (E_k(EPC, PI)) in response to queries of a reading device (2), which is preferably done by delaying the transmission of the key (k) or by limiting the response rate at which the key (k) is transmitted. In particular the invention is related to RFID systems.
