Connecting Element For Medical Bedrail, Assembly Comprising It And Procedure For Assembling Said Assembly
The proposed invention relates to a connecting element (1) for a medical bedrail, such as used in medical transport gurneys, stretchers, hospital beds and the like. The connecting element (1) connects a connecting rod (2) and a pivotable rod (3) of a foldable bedrail for medical beds and comprises a jaw (4), the inner surface (5) of the jaw (4) being concave in shape and adapted for abutting tightly against the outer surface of the connecting rod (2), two locking teeth (6) fashioned symmetrically on or at the upper edge of the inner surface (5) of the jaw (4), each on one side of the jaw (4), respectively, and two legs (7) fashioned on the upper part of the outer side of the jaw (4) and arranged symmetrically with respect to a central plane (R) extending vertically and longitudinally through the center of the jaw (4), the legs (7) extending downwards, each of the legs (7) comprising a snap-fit element (8) fashioned on the inner surface of the leg (7) facing the inner surface of the other leg (7), the snap-fit elements (8) being arranged symmetrically with respect to the central plane (R) and co-operating with two snap-fit elements (8) fashioned in the pivotable rod (3). The connecting element (1) may further comprise a centering web (13), located on the bottom of the jaw (4).
KNOCKDOWN ADJUSTABLE BED WITH A SLIDABLE ASSEMBLY
An adjustable bed includes: a head frame assembly; a foot frame assembly; a knockdown connecting bracket; a slidable assembly having a pair of slidable assembly sides slidable within a pair of lower C steel brackets in a slidable assembly upward direction or a slidable assembly downward direction; a plurality of slidable assembly angle steels; a pair of head lift arm bracket assemblies; a second head tilt angle bracket; a head tilt platform; a head lift platform; a lumbar lift bracket assembly; an upper seat platform; a support platform; a lower seat platform; a head lift motor, secured to the head frame assembly for driving the pair of head lift arm bracket assemblies in a head lift forward direction or a head lift backward direction; and a head support tube, having an upper end pivotally connected to a L bracket and a lower end connected to the head lift platform.
METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR UPGRADING A BED TO INCLUDE MOVEABLE COMPONENTS
A mattress support includes a first section and a second section configured to be coupled to the first section. Each of the first section and the second section includes a base plate configured to be positioned on a box frame of a bed. A top plate is pivotable relative to the base plate. A bladder structure is positioned between the base plate and the top plate and inflatable to adjust a height of the top plate.
DETACHABLE BED RAIL
A detachable bed rail providing support for a user on a bed or similar furniture is disclosed. The detachable bed rail may include a base that can fit under a mattress, and a support rail that extends upright relative to the base. The bed rail may be decoupled from the base portion and coupled to the bed in a storage configuration. The detachable bed rail may include accessories comprising a rail cover, a tray table and an attachable extension.
Patient mobility system with integrated ambulation device
A patient mobility system for early patient ambulation. The system includes a patient support apparatus having a patient support surface supported by a base adapted to rest upon a floor surface. A first actuator may move the patient support deck relative to the base. An ambulation device is removably coupled to the patient support apparatus and includes wheels, a barrier, and a second actuator. The second actuator may move the barrier to a height sufficient to prevent egress of the patient in a coupled configuration, and/or adjust a height of the barrier relative to the wheels in a decoupled configuration so as to provide a grip to support to the patient during ambulation away from the patient support apparatus. A controller may be operable to control at the first and/or second actuators.
Patient support systems and methods of use
A patient support system includes a patient support apparatus and a support surface mounted on the patient support apparatus. The patient support apparatus is reconfigurable among a plurality of different configurations for supporting a patient on the support surface in a plurality of positions. The support surface is mounted on the patient support apparatus to move in response to reconfiguration of the patient support apparatus.
Hospital bed
A hospital bed contains: a body, a headboard, a footboard, a holding frame, at least one peripheral frame, and a drive unit. The headboard is disposed on one of two short peripheries of the body, and the footboard is mounted on the other of the two short peripheries of the body. The holding frame is fixed on the body and includes at least two tabs, and each of the at least one peripheral frame includes a coupling part and two connectors connected with two sides of the coupling part respectively, and each of the two connectors has a movable post, an accommodation stem, and a resilient element fitted on the movable post and moving between the movable post and the at least two tabs. The drive unit is mounted on the holding frame so as to control a rotation angle of the holding frame.

A controller may be operable to control at the first and/or second actuators.
PATIENT SUPPORT SYSTEMS AND METHODS OF USE
A patient support system includes a scale system, an air system, and a lift system. The patient support system also includes a control system configured to graphically communicate information about the scale system, the air system, and the lift system to a user.
Patient mobility system with integrated ambulation device
A patient mobility system for early patient ambulation. The system includes a patient support apparatus comprising a patient support surface supported by a base adapted to rest upon a floor surface. An ambulation device is removably coupled to the patient support apparatus and comprises a barrier. In a coupled configuration, the ambulation device is supported off of the floor surface and the barrier prevents egress by being adjacent to a side of said patient support surface and having a height sufficient to at least partially extend above the patient support surface. In a decoupled configuration, the ambulation device engages the floor surface and provides support to the patient during ambulation away from the patient support apparatus. The barrier may comprise articulating members configured to articulate between a barrier configuration in the coupled configuration, and a deployed configuration with wheels engaging the floor surface in the decoupled configuration.
