A computer-implemented method includes: transmitting, by a mobile device, to a mobile wallet computer system, an indication that a user of the mobile device wishes to perform a mobile wallet transaction to transfer funds to a merchant; receiving, by the mobile device, an amount of merchant rewards that are available for the user to use at the merchant; displaying, by the mobile device, the amount of merchant rewards; receiving, by the mobile device, an indication that the user wishes to apply at least a portion of the available rewards to the transaction; and, transmitting, to a merchant computer system, the indication that the user wishes to apply at least a portion of the available rewards to the transaction. The merchant rewards are applied to the transaction prior to submitting the transaction to a card network computer system, and no physical rewards card is used to complete the transaction.

Systems and methods for token transfer between mobile computing devices

Described are systems and methods for transferring a token between mobile computing devices. A token transfer processing computing device includes a memory device for storing data and a processor in communication with the memory device. The processor is programmed to receive a token transfer message. The token transfer message includes a current device identifier associated with a current mobile device having an original token associated therewith for initiating secure payments using the current mobile device, and a new device identifier associated with a new mobile device replacing the current mobile device. The processor is further programmed to perform a lookup in a device-to-token mapping table to identify the original token associated with the current mobile device. The processor further generates an updated token associated with the payment account and transmits a token transfer response to the new mobile device. The token transfer response includes the updated token.

Funds transfer authentication

The innovation disclosed and claimed herein, in me aspect thereof, comprises systems and methods of funds transfer authentication. The authentication can include receiving a transfer request to transfer funds from a payer to a payee, the transfer request identifies the payer, the payee, and an amount to transfer. Customer information associated respectively with the payer and the payee is identified. The payer and the payee are authenticated. A communication session is opened between the payer and payee. A time-limited payee OTP is generated and sent to the payee. The payee OTP is received within a first time limit. The funds are transferred from the payer to the payee based on receiving a matching payee OTP.

A virtual transaction account may be issued to a designated recipient, wherein authorization limits may limit the duration, availability, value, and functionality of the virtual transaction account. The virtual transaction account may be linked and depend from a parent transaction account, and contain similar payment functionalities as a credit card. The virtual transaction account may be unilaterally issued by a program administrator, without the need to request issuance from an issuer.

SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR MOBILE DEPOSIT OF NEGOTIABLE INSTRUMENTS

An image of a negotiable instrument may be taken by a camera associated with a mobile device and provided from a user to a financial institution via the mobile device. The negotiable instrument may be deposited in a user’s bank account based on the image. Any technique for sending the image to the financial institution may be used. The mobile device may process the image prior to sending the image to the financial institution. Additionally or alternatively, the financial institution may process the image.

TRANSFERS USING CREDIT ACCOUNTS

Disclosed are various embodiments for transfers using credit accounts. A request to send a specified amount of funds from a specified credit account to a recipient is received from a first client device. A transaction identifier for the request to send the specified amount of funds to the recipient is requested from the computing device. A first notification is sent to a second client device, wherein the first notification comprises the transaction identifier and the second client device is associated with the recipient. A second notification is received from the second client device that the recipient has accepted the specified amount of funds. A funds transfer is then initiated to the monetary account for the specified amount of funds.

STORAGE MEDIUM, TRANSACTION METHOD, AND STORE DEVICE

A non-transitory computer-readable storage medium storing a transaction program that causes at least one computer to execute a process, the process includes transmitting transaction information to a user terminal; receiving result information acquired by processing payment of a transaction of the transaction information by a server, from the user terminal, the result information including identification information indicating the payment; storing the identification information associated with the transaction information in the one or more memories; and outputting a receipt including identification information.

A server device includes: a first receiver to receive, from a settlement terminal, settlement identification information for identifying a settlement method by which the settlement terminal makes a settlement, and portable terminal identification information for identifying portable terminals located within a predetermined distance, the portable terminal identification information being included in a radio wave sent out, and intensity information representing a radio wave intensity of the radio wave received by the settlement terminal; a correlation unit to correlate the portable terminal identification information corresponding to the intensity information of the highest radio wave intensity received by the first receiver, with the settlement identification information; a memory controller to store, in a memory, settlement record information that correlates the settlement identification information with the portable terminal identification information; and an estimation unit to estimate a settlement method used on a per portable terminal basis, based on pieces of the settlement record information stored in the memory.

Connected vehicle for providing navigation directions to merchant terminals that process vehicle payments

Methods, systems, apparatus, and non-transitory computer readable media are described for using a vehicle as a payment device. Various aspects may include receiving a selection of a stored financial card or financial account at a vehicle head unit. The selected financial card or financial account may be transmitted to a point-of-sale (POS) terminal for making a payment by transmitting a tokenized card number to the POS terminal. The tokenized card number may be transmitted over a very short-range communication link to ensure that the transmission is secure. For example, electronic circuitry may be attached to the exterior of the vehicle, where the electronic circuitry may be within a threshold distance (e.g. one inch, three inches, six inches, one foot, three feet, etc.) of the POS terminal. The tokenized card number may be transmitted from the vehicle head unit to the electronic circuitry and then to the POS terminal.
