System and method for payment terminal optimization
A system includes a processor and a non-transitory computer readable medium coupled to the processor. The non-transitory computer readable medium includes code, that when executed by the processor, causes the processor to receive input from a user of a user device to generate an optimal payment location on an application display, generate a first boundary of the optimal payment location on the application display of the user device based upon a first motion of a payment enabled card in a first direction and generate a second boundary of the optimal payment location on the application display of the user device based upon a second motion of the payment enabled card in a second direction. The first boundary and the second boundary combine to form defining edges of the optimal payment location.
Computer-based system for determining dynamic financial transaction parameters
An example method includes receiving information related to a transaction with a financial account initiated by a customer at a financial terminal, the financial account including a transaction limit. Based on the information related to the transaction exceeding the transaction limit for the financial account, the method includes identifying a mobile device associated with the financial account and receiving location information of the mobile device via one or both of a passive location response or an active location response. Based on the location information of the mobile device, the method includes determining that the mobile device is located within a predetermined distance from a location of the financial terminal and temporarily changing the transaction limit for the financial account by a variable amount based on whether the location information of the mobile device was received via the one or both of the passive or the active location response.
Mobile device based identity verification
Apparatuses, systems, methods, and computer program products are presented for mobile device based identity verification. An apparatus includes a data module configured to receive sensor data from a hardware device associated with a user. An apparatus includes a transaction module configured to receive transaction data associated with a transaction. An apparatus includes a verification module configured to verify an identity of a user making a transaction based on received sensor data. A transaction may be allowed in response to verifying a user's identity.
User controlled event record system
A user controlled mobile device for use in countering phantom billing fraud in connection with receiving or providing health care services includes one or more components capturing and outputting biometric data and location data, and a data storage device holding an event record created without explicit user intervention indicating whether the particular user was at the particular location, the event record including a timestamp corresponding to events at or near a time of the timestamp including a time of capture of the biometric and location data, the biometric data and location data, where the stored event record serves as the personal audit trail evidencing an existence or absence of phantom billing.
CERTIFICATION OF FAN STATUS AND CORRESPONDING MARKETPLACE FOR DIGITAL COLLECTIBLES
The present invention is related to systems and methods for creating, validating, updating, and certifying fan status. The present invention is directed to creating a platform for fan communications and engagement. The present invention also includes a marketplace for transacting digital collectibles of interest to fans. Fan status in the present invention is a metric of social interaction, engagement, time spent, money spent, events attended, and/or other ways of measuring support and interest. Both quantitative and qualitative measures of fan status are compatible with the present invention. Preferably, the fan status is used for fans of sports teams.
LOT-TO-LOT ROULETTE COMBINATION
In various embodiments a single reel on a gaming device contains multiple symbols.
System, method, and apparatus for user-less payment on delivery
Described herein are systems, methods, and apparatuses for performing a user-less payment for an item upon its delivery by an unmanned delivery vehicle. The unmanned delivery vehicle may navigate to a delivery location, receive payment information, initiate a payment transaction with a remote server, and release the item at a specified location upon successful completion of the payment transaction. Upon arrival of the unmanned delivery vehicle, a wireless data transmission device may send payment information to a remote server, and the remote server may provide the unmanned delivery vehicle with an indication of whether the item can be released and a specific location at which the item can be released.
DYNAMIC MODIFICATION OF A VERIFICATION METHOD ASSOCIATED WITH A TRANSACTION CARD
A device may determine that a verification method associated with a transaction card is to be modified from a first verification method to a second verification method. The first verification method and the second verification method may use different types of verification information. The device may provide a set of instructions to the transaction card after determining that the verification method is to be modified. The set of instructions may cause the transaction card to modify the verification method from the first verification method to the second verification method. The device may provide information identifying a modification to the verification method to a transaction backend device to notify the transaction backend device that the verification method associated with the transaction card has been modified from the first verification method to the second verification method.
VALUE TRANSFER VIA FACIAL RECOGNITION
A user device includes a display, a camera, and an application. The application is structured to: receive first image data of a first user from a first input of the camera; receive second image data of a second user from a second input of the camera; receive a payment amount of a bill; detect a location of the first user; determine a recommended division of the payment amount of the bill based on the first user, the second user, and the location; receive a first value of the payment amount owed by the first user and a second value of the payment amount owed by the second user; and initiate a transfer of funds from a first user account associated with the first user based on the first value and from a second user account associated with the second user based on the second value.
MOTION-ENABLED TRANSACTION SYSTEM USING AIR SIGN SYMBOLS
Systems and methods for motion-enabled transactions are disclosed. The system may allow users to complete transactions with merchants via an air sign input. The system may receive a motion-enabled transaction request comprising an air sign input. The system may determine a stored air sign symbol based on the air sign input. The system may retrieve a merchant identifier, a transaction type, and a transaction cost based on the determined stored air sign symbol. The system may transmit a transaction confirmation comprising the merchant identifier, the transaction type, and the transaction cost. In response to the user confirming the transaction confirmation, the system may authorize and process the transaction.
