Merchant terminal for receiving payment from a vehicle
Methods, systems, apparatus, and non-transitory computer readable media are described for using a vehicle as a payment device. Various aspects may include receiving a selection of a stored financial card or financial account at a vehicle head unit. The selected financial card or financial account may be transmitted to a point-of-sale (POS) terminal for making a payment by transmitting a tokenized card number to the POS terminal. The tokenized card number may be transmitted over a very short-range communication link to ensure that the transmission is secure. For example, electronic circuitry may be attached to the exterior of the vehicle, where the electronic circuitry may be within a threshold distance (e.g. one inch, three inches, six inches, one foot, three feet, etc.) of the POS terminal. The tokenized card number may be transmitted from the vehicle head unit to the electronic circuitry and then to the POS terminal.
Connected vehicle for providing navigation directions to merchant terminals that process vehicle payments

Systems and methods for contactless card activation
A method, apparatus, and system of activating and using a contactless card are disclosed. A mobile device includes a wireless chip structured to allow short-range wireless communications (e.g., a near-field communication), a processor, and a memory storing instructions. The mobile device is configured to communicate with a contactless card via a short-range wireless communication and receive a customer-specific uniform resource locator (URL) from the contactless card via a wireless chip. In response, the mobile device is configured to automatically open a web browser and navigate to a website associated with the customer-specific URL. The customer-specific URL identifying the client associated with the contactless card. The mobile device then prompts, via a GUI on the display, a user for authentication information, and based on a verification of the authentication information, display a confirmation page indicating activation of the contactless card.
Provisioning credentials on multiple electronic devices
This application relates to re-provisioning of credentials, such as payment credentials, on a second electronic device from one or more credentials previously provisioned on a first electronic device. The one or more previously provisioned credentials may be stored on an external storage system and may be retrieved by the second electronic device for re-provisioning. The second electronic device may re-provision an instance of the one or more retrieved credentials for use in electronic transactions on the second electronic device using a secure element linked to the second electronic device and information that is unique to the one or more credentials being re-provisioned to the second electronic device.
COMPUTER SYSTEM FOR FACILITATING FINANCIAL TRANSACTIONS AND REDUCING FRAUD
A systems and method for reconfigurable and/or updatable lightweight electronic devices are disclosed for a computer system for facilitating financial transactions and reducing the opportunity for fraud. Via use of such a device, system, or method, various capabilities for a user are provided, simplified, secured, and/or made more convenient. The system may interact with various other devices or systems, including those that are cloud-based or communicate through the cloud, and may utilize various local sensors, in order to provide one or more of improved access, monitoring, user diagnostics, and so forth.
Wireless devices for storing a financial account card and methods for storing card data in a wireless device
A non-transitory computer-readable medium stores instructions causing a processor to generate a menu displaying representations of a plurality of cards, the cards having associated card data; receive, from a user input device, a selection corresponding to a selected one of the cards; update the menu to display a representation of the selection; and authorize transmission of the card data associated with the selected card to complete a transaction.
Zero-knowledge proof-based virtual cards
Disclosed are various embodiments for issuing virtual cards to client devices. Also disclosed are embodiments for provisioning a transaction terminal to process transactions with virtual cards. A zero-knowledge proof algorithm can be utilized to validate the transactions. A virtual card can be based upon a public key of a client device that is managed by a hardware security module.
Systems and methods for secure wireless payment transactions when a wireless network is unavailable
Systems, methods, and devices are disclosed which allow a mobile device user to complete financial transactions even when the mobile device is not connected to a wireless network. The systems, methods, and devices of the present disclosure may utilize a combination of an encrypted lockbox containing out of network payment codes on the mobile device and a matching set of out of network payment codes stored on a server of a payment authority.
DIGITAL ASSET MANAGEMENT
Methods and systems for digital asset management are discussed herein. Physical assets, such as a seat or group of seats in a venue (e.g., sports stadium, concert hall, movie theater, etc.) or a housing unit or group of housing units (e.g., apartment, condominium, hotel room, etc.) may be tokenized and associated with a minted non-fungible token (NFT). The NFT may be entered into a distributed ledger such that, when the asset is involved in a transaction (e.g., rented, purchased, etc.), a record of the transaction is securely and permanently entered into the distributed ledger. By utilizing the NFT and the distributed ledger during the transaction of the asset, all participants involved can be assured that proper and secure compensation is being provided for use of the asset.
System for authenticating an electronic device by means of an authentication server
A system for authenticating an electronic device by means of an authentication server in order to authenticate a user of said electronic device. The system is adapted to perform an authentication based on a fictive payment transaction and includes the authentication server which is adapted to execute a fictive payment transaction with a predetermined transaction amount with said electronic device and during said execution to receive a first cryptogram from said electronic device; send said first cryptogram to a banking server; and receive from said banking server an acknowledgment if said first cryptogram is valid; when said fictive payment transaction has been executed, compute an authentication identification based on said electronic device's data; said electronic device which is a payment electronic device and which is adapted to execute said fictive payment transaction with said authentication server and during said execution to send said first cryptogram to said authentication server.
