Systems and methods for a transaction card having a cryptographic key
A method, apparatus, and system of activating and using a contactless card are disclosed. More particularly, a transaction card including a contactless enabled chip having payment information and identity information stored thereon, where the contactless enabled chip is configured to communicate the identity information to a mobile device via a contactless communication, and where the identity information comprises a cryptographic key, cryptographic token, or a digital certificate is disclosed.
PROVISIONING CREDENTIALS ON MULTIPLE ELECTRONIC DEVICES
This application relates to re-provisioning of credentials, such as payment credentials, on a second electronic device from one or more credentials previously provisioned on a first electronic device. The one or more previously provisioned credentials may be stored on an external storage system and may be retrieved by the second electronic device for re-provisioning. The second electronic device may re-provision an instance of the one or more retrieved credentials for use in electronic transactions on the second electronic device using a secure element linked to the second electronic device and information that is unique to the one or more credentials being re-provisioned to the second electronic device.
WIRELESS DEVICES FOR STORING A FINANCIAL ACCOUNT CARD AND METHODS FOR STORING CARD DATA IN A WIRELESS DEVICE
A non-transitory computer-readable medium stores instructions causing a processor to generate a menu displaying representations of a plurality of cards, the cards having associated card data; receive, from a user input device, a selection corresponding to a selected one of the cards; update the menu to display a representation of the selection; and authorize transmission of the card data associated with the selected card to complete a transaction.
PROCESSING A MOBILE PAYLOAD
In one aspect, a method includes receiving, from a sender device, a request to initiate a transfer of an asset to a recipient; causing a user interface to be presented on the sender device to receive an input of an amount of the asset to be transferred; causing an indication of the transfer of the asset to be presented via the user interface in association with a graphical icon representing a gift wrapping that conceals at least some information regarding a payload associated with the transfer; associating the graphical icon with the payload to generate a gift-wrapped element that includes the amount and the information regarding the payload; causing a notification to be sent to a recipient device of the recipient that includes the gift wrapped element; and causing assets in the amount to be withdrawn from an account of the sender and transferred to an account of the recipient.
WHITE LABEL MERCHANT STORED VALUE ACCOUNT PEER LINKING AND FUNDING SYSTEM
A white label merchant stored value account peer linking/funding system includes a payment service provider database storing associations between different merchants and respective groups of white label merchant stored value accounts. A payment service provider links, in the database, a first user identifier received from a first user device with a first white label merchant stored value account that is included in a first group of white label merchant stored value accounts that are associated with a first merchant in the database. The payment service provider device then receives second user identifiers from the first user device, and links each of the second user identifiers with the first white label merchant stored value account in the database. The payment service provider device then receives respective second user account information from the second user devices and funds the first white label merchant stored value account with respective first funding amounts.
Antifraud Resilient Transaction Identifier Datastructure Apparatuses, Methods and Systems
The Antifraud Resilient Transaction Identifier Datastructure Apparatuses, Methods and Systems (“ARTID”) transforms PIN, unique user identifying device datastructure inputs via ARTID components into secure payment authorization outputs. The ARTID includes a virtual secure element datastructure transaction apparatus, comprising, a memory, a component collection in the memory, and a processor disposed in communication with the memory, and configured to issue a plurality of processing instructions from the component collection stored in the memory. ARTID includes instructions to: obtain request to generate a tamper resistant asset account from a requestor, and instantiate a new tamper resistant asset account, wherein the account is populated with the requestor identifier, unique requestor device identifier, a secure cryptographic element for the tamper resistant account. ARTID also includes instructions to provide a message to generate a new physical account card and an associated virtual account card associated with the tamper resistant asset account, and obtain a request to engage the virtual account card in a transaction, wherein the request includes the user access credential. ARTID also includes instructions to generate a card access event message from the request to engage the virtual account card, provide the card access event message to a payment network, and obtain a card access event authorization response.
FACILITATING A FUND TRANSFER BETWEEN USER ACCOUNTS
Systems, methods, and computer-readable media for facilitating a fund transfer between user accounts are provided.
Digital access code
A method is disclosed. One embodiment of the invention is directed to a method. The method comprises: prompting, by an access device, a user to enter an access code; receiving, by the access device, the access code from the user; transmitting, by the access device, the access code to a validation computer, which validates the access code; receiving, by the access device, an access identifier or access token from the validation computer in response to validating the access code; transmitting, by the access device, an authorization request message including the access identifier or the access token to an authorizing computer; and receiving, by the access device, an authorization response message from the authorizing computer.
Systems and methods for mobile wallet provisioning
A method for provisioning a payment account to a mobile wallet on a mobile device includes receiving, by a provider computing system, an encrypted network return address of the mobile wallet that uniquely identifies a network address of the mobile wallet when the encrypted network return address is decrypted from an initiating device, receiving, by the provider computing system, an encryption key configured to decrypt the encrypted network return address, wherein the encryption key is not provided to the initiating device, decrypting, by the provider computing system, the encrypted network return address using the encryption key, and provisioning, by the provider computing system, a payment token associated with the payment account to the mobile wallet based on the decrypted network return address received from the initiating device by transmitting the payment token to the mobile device without going through the initiating device.
System and method for using image data to trigger contactless card transactions
A method for controlling a near field communication between a device and a transaction card is disclosed. The method includes the steps of capturing, by a front-facing camera of the device, a series of images of the transaction card and processing each image of the series of images to identify a darkness level associated with a distance of the transaction card from the front of the device. The method includes comparing each identified darkness level to a predetermined darkness level associated with a preferred distance for a near field communication read operation and automatically triggering a near field communication read operation between the device and the transaction card for the communication of a cryptogram from an applet of the transaction card to the device in response to the identified darkness level corresponding to the predetermined darkness level associated with the preferred distance for the near field communication read operation.
