Integrating mobile payment application with other mobile applications while preventing security exposures
A method, system and computer program product for integrating a mobile payment application with other mobile applications while preventing security exposures. A set of application programming interfaces of mobile applications that may possibly be utilized by a pass created by a mobile payment application is generated in response to receiving an indication that the pass was created. A “pass,” as used herein, refers to a form of mobile payment, such as a gift card. A selection of these application programming interfaces may then be received to interact with the created pass. In this manner, the existing mobile applications are seamlessly integrated with the features of passes. Furthermore, a virtual container is created for the created pass and the selected application programming interfaces to interface with the created pass. By creating such a container, the data to be exposed to the application layer can be controlled.
Waking up a terminal to receive an ultrasonic signal in reponse to sensor data
A method, a terminal, and a storage medium are provided for controlling a functional circuit. In the method, the terminal acquires sensor data information of a sensor. Further, the terminal wakes up the functional circuit in the terminal to receive an ultrasonic signal in response to determining that the acquired sensor data information meets a preset condition.
Cloud-based virtual wallet NFC apparatuses, methods and systems
The CLOUD-BASED VIRTUAL WALLET NFC APPARATUSES, METHODS AND SYSTEMS (“EAE”) transform user enhanced security transaction initiation requests using EAE components into time-limited, session-specific transaction bounding tokens. In some implementations, the disclosure provides a processor-implemented method of transforming a transaction bounding token request into transaction bounded tokens and purchase authorizations.
Split Secret Cryptography Based Security in IoT Implemented Payment Transactions or Credentials
The invention provides methods, systems and computer program products for securely provisioning an internet-of-things (IoT) device for implementing an electronic payment transaction. The invention comprises (i) retrieving a first credential element from the client device, and a second credential element from a router, (ii) generating payment credential data by applying split secret cryptography based reconstruction to the first credential element and the second credential element, (iii) retrieving a unique identifier associated with the IoT device, (iv) generating a combined data element comprising the payment credential data and the unique identifier associated with the loT device, (v) applying split secret cryptography based splitting to the combined data element to generate a first verifiable secure element and a second verifiable secure element, (vi) storing the first verifiable secure element and the retrieved unique identifier within the router, and (vii) storing the second verifiable secure element within the IoT device.
System and method for performing financial transactions using a wireless personal assistant
Aspects of the present disclosure involve systems, methods, devices, and the like for performing financial transactions. In one embodiment, a system is introduced that enables a communication between a user and a wireless personal assistant. The communication occurs through the use of a vocal command which is recognized and authenticated by the wireless personal assistant for the request and transfer of a monetary amount between a user and a contact. The communication occurs using a financial institution associated with the user and linked with the wireless personal assistant for the manipulation of funds from the user account.
Blaze non-browser based application for purchasing digital products
A method and system for conducting an online payment transaction through a point of sale device. The method includes receiving input from a user selecting an item for purchase through the point of sale device; calculating a total purchase amount for the item in response to a request from the user to purchase the item; and sending payment authorization for the total purchase amount from the point of sale device to a payment entity, in which the payment authorization is sent to the payment entity via a mobile communication device of the user. The method further includes receiving a result of the payment authorization from the payment entity through the mobile communication device; and completing the payment transaction based on the result of the payment authorization.
SECURE SHARING OF CREDENTIAL INFORMATION
A first user device may be used to request provisioning of a secure credential on a second user device. A provisioning system may facilitate the provisioning in a manner that ensures security and privacy of the requesting parties. The provisioning requests may be made using an application on the first user device such as a third-party application or using a web application via a browser. The credential may be added to a digital wallet on the second user device. The credential may be useable by the second user device to perform one or more contactless transactions.
METHOD, TERMINAL, AND COIN REGISTER FOR TRANSMITTING ELECTRONIC COIN DATA SETS
A first security element is for transmitting an electronic coin data set to a second security element. The electronic coin data set is registered in a coin register of a payment system. The method has the steps of: setting a status of the electronic coin data set from the security element to an inactive status; transmitting the electronic coin data set from the first security element to the second security element; checking whether a receipt confirmation from the second security element has been received in the first security element; and deleting the transmitted electronic coin data set if the checking step results in that the receipt confirmation has been obtained by the first security element. The aforementioned relates to a payment system, a coin register, a security element, and a terminal for transmitting electronic coin data sets.
DEVICE ACCOUNT ACTIVATION
In various embodiments, a system, method, and computer readable medium of the present disclosure comprises authenticating, by a processor of a computing device, credential information of a user of the computing device; releasing, by a processor of the computing device and in response to authenticating the credential information, a first secret element to a secure element processor of the computing device; verifying, by the processor of the computing device from the secure element processor of the computing device, that the user is an authorized user of a first transaction account by comparing the first secret element with an issuer element associated with the first transaction account; and activating, by the processor of the computing device, the first transaction account for a transaction on the computing device.
INFORMATION PROCESSING DEVICE FOR RETAIL TRANSACTION PROCESSING SYSTEMS
According to one embodiment, an information processing device connectable to peripheral devices for retail transaction processing includes an interface for connecting to a plurality of peripheral devices, a storage unit including an unrestricted storage area and a restricted storage area, and a processor. The processor is configured to acquire device information from each of the plurality of peripheral devices connected to the interface, identify whether the acquired device information meets to a first condition, generate a first key from at least a portion of the acquired device information if the first condition is met, then use the generated first key to unlock a first area of the restricted storage area. The processor then executes a first processing program that was stored in the unlocked first area.
