STORE CHANNEL PRESTAGING AND CUSTOMER INTERACTION
Examples described herein relate to apparatus and methods for a user to exchange information with a financial institution computing system (a branch location thereof) via a user device before the user is service, including, but not limited to, determining that the user device is present at the branch location of the financial institution, and in response to determining that the user device is present at the branch location, performing one or more of displaying information related to service at the branch location or displaying information unrelated to service at the branch location.
Cardless challenge systems and methods
Systems, methods, and apparatus for handling and/or authorizing payment requests by a consumer for a transaction are provided. Challenge questions may be presented from the non-merchant to the consumer after receiving the payment information, thereby allowing a Judicious determination of when to ask such challenge questions and allowing complex and probative questions. The time limit for such challenge questions may advantageously be unconstrained, while still preserving security. Also, a risk analysis may be started prior to the consumer submitting payment information, thus showing an efficient and complex risk analysis. Information about an access device used by the consumer may be obtained at the non-merchant from the access device with code sent to the access device from the merchant, and the device information may be used in the risk analysis.
Mobile commerce payment system
A mobile commerce system and components thereof are provided in which multiple wireless mobile communications devices (mobile devices) (1) each has a unique electronic identification and processing circuit (2) capable of encrypting data utilizing an encryption key and a first software application providing connectivity to commercial webpage servers (4) for purposes that include the conduct of selected transactions involving a payment for goods or services. Each mobile device is independently enabled to conduct financial transactions in real time by communication with a financial institution. Each mobile device further has a second software application termed mobile payment application adapted to interact with the first application to receive data as to a payment required to conclude a transaction conducted by way of a commercial webpage server. The mobile payment application initiates an instruction to the financial institution to make a payment to a payee designated by way of such data wherein the instruction is encrypted utilizing the unique electronic identification and processing circuit.
Integrated mobile trusted service manager
Embodiments of the present invention are directed to a centralized trusted service manager system in the form of a trusted service manager interconnectivity service hub, which facilitates and provides communications between entities involved I mobile contactless payment systems. One embodiment is directed to a method for processing a message related to a mobile payment application on a secure element of a mobile communication device through an interconnectivity services hub including receiving the message from a first entity in a first protocol and determining a trusted service manager associated with the secure element from among a plurality of trusted service managers using a routing table comprising routing information. Then the method continues by determining a second protocol corresponding to the trusted service manager associated with the secure element, translating the message into the second protocol, and sending the translated message to the trusted service manager which communicates with the secure element.
ELECTRONIC PAYMENT DEVICE WITH MEANS FOR BLOCKING ACCESS TO A DATA STORAGE MODULE
An electronic payment terminal including a box having a housing inside which a first removable module for storing data related to at least one transaction carried out via the terminal is arranged, the terminal also having removable features for blocking access to the first storage module and an authenticity device covering at least one portion of the removable features for blocking access to the first storage module.
SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR MONITORING ONLINE TRANSACTIONS BETWEEN REGISTERED USERS AND SERVICE PROVIDERS BY A TRAINED MACHINE LEARNING MODEL
Systems and methods are disclosed for routing and settling transactions between bank accounts associated with registered users and merchants. The method includes determining transactions for payment accounts associated with payment vehicles of registered users. The outstanding amount associated with transactions of each payment account is aggregated based on a first preset time period. The payments for the aggregated outstanding amount are transmitted to recipient accounts of merchants based on the first preset time period and/or a pre-determined total outstanding amount threshold. The transmitted payments are aggregated based on a second preset time period, the first preset time period being a subset of the second preset time period. The amount of the aggregated transmitted payments is deducted from the payment account based on the second preset time period. A user interface of the device of the registered user presents information regarding deduction of the aggregated transmitted payments from the payment account.
Method and system for remote transaction processing using a non-browser based application
A method and system for conducting an online payment transaction through a point of sale device. The method includes receiving input from a user selecting an item for purchase through the point of sale device; calculating a total purchase amount for the item in response to a request from the user to purchase the item; and sending payment authorization for the total purchase amount from the point of sale device to a payment entity, in which the payment authorization is sent to the payment entity via a mobile communication device of the user. The method further includes receiving a result of the payment authorization from the payment entity through the mobile communication device; and completing the payment transaction based on the result of the payment authorization.
System and methods for zero-step customer proximity detection using mobile device low emissions beacons
A system and methods for zero-step customer proximity detection using mobile device low emissions beacons, which uses a customer mobile device, a single or plurality of BLUETOOTH™ low-emissions (BTLE) beacons, a network, a server, and an application that may operate separately on a mobile device and the single or plurality of BLUETOOTH™ low-emissions (BTLE) beacons, which allows businesses to detect known customers that come within a specified proximity of any connected BTLE beacons, and provide interactions with them on a zero-step and socially distanced basis, track their proximity to other customers and staff using similar applications, manage table assignments, offer deals or provide incentives to enter or patronize a business establishment.
Universal fare payment and collection system
A universal fare payment and collection system configured to allow users to purchase tickets and/or passes for a plurality of public transport authorities using a single account or device. The system is configured to detect a first ticketing technology of a first nearby transportation system, configure the traveler's electronic device for authorizing at least one of a ticket and a pass via the first ticketing technology, detect a second ticketing technology of a second nearby transportation system, the second ticketing technology being different from the first ticketing technology, and configure the traveler's electronic device for authorizing at least one of a ticket and a pass via the second ticketing technology.
INTEGRATING MOBILE PAYMENT APPLICATION WITH OTHER MOBILE APPLICATIONS WHILE PREVENTING SECURITY EXPOSURES
A method, system and computer program product for integrating a mobile payment application with other mobile applications while preventing security exposures. A set of application programming interfaces of mobile applications that may possibly be utilized by a pass created by a mobile payment application is generated in response to receiving an indication that the pass was created. A “pass,” as used herein, refers to a form of mobile payment, such as a gift card. A selection of these application programming interfaces may then be received to interact with the created pass. In this manner, the existing mobile applications are seamlessly integrated with the features of passes. Furthermore, a virtual container is created for the created pass and the selected application programming interfaces to interface with the created pass. By creating such a container, the data to be exposed to the application layer can be controlled.
