Method for carrying out a transaction, terminal, server and corresponding computer program

A method for processing a transaction of a communications terminal, asking a server, through a communications network, for processing of a transaction involving the use of payment data. The method is implemented within the communications terminal. The method includes: transmitting a request for obtaining a certification code to the payment method whose data is used for the transaction; receiving the certification code coming from the payment method; inserting the certification code into a transaction data structure; transmitting the transaction data structure to the server; and when the certification code received by the server is valid, receiving a piece of data representing the validation of the transaction by the server.

Systems and methods for dynamic inclusion of enhanced data in transactions

Systems and methods for dynamic inclusion of enhanced data in transactions are disclosed. According to another embodiment, in an information processing apparatus comprising at least one computer processor, a method for conducting a mobile wallet payment with dynamic enhanced data using a mobile payment application may include: (1) receiving, from a merchant point of transaction device, a transaction request from a mobile payment application executed by a mobile electronic device, the transaction request comprising a unique identifier for a financial instrument provisioned to a mobile wallet computer application and a payment option selection; and (2) processing the transaction request according to the payment option selection.

Screen interface for a mobile device apparatus

In various embodiments, a mobile phone apparatus is provided for: storing, at an electronic device, payment information for a payment account; detecting, at the electronic device, that a mechanical input was locally received at the electronic device; and in response to detecting that the mechanical input has been locally received at the device, enabling, at the electronic device, the payment information to be accessed.

Apparatus and methods for payment transactions using near field communication

In various embodiments, the mobile device includes an NFC tag for near-field communication. The NFC tag includes a first storage device and a second storage device. Personal data is stored on the first storage device, which is not accessible by an NFC reader device. Prior to a transaction, the personal data is transmitted from the first storage device to the second storage device, where the data is readable or accessible by the reader device. In one embodiment, the data remains stored in the first storage device and available for future use. In another embodiment, the data comprises financial product data.

Systems and methods for protecting against relay attacks

Systems, methods, and devices are disclosed for preventing relay attacks. A user device may receive (e.g., when proximate to the first access device), from an intervening device, device identification data for a first access device. A message may be received from a second access device via the intervening device. The message may include a digital signature generated based at least in part on second access device identification data. The user device may validate the message utilizing the digital signature and a public key. If the message is invalid, the user device may discard the message. If the message is valid, (e.g., unaltered), the user device may determine that the user has not confirmed an intent to interact with the second access device and may terminate an further interaction with the second access device accordingly.

METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR ACTIVATING VIRTUAL CARD

The present disclosure relates to a method, an apparatus and a non-transitory computer-readable storage medium for activating a virtual card. The method includes: displaying an interface for selecting a virtual card to be activated upon receiving an instruction, where the interface for selecting the virtual card to be activated is configured to display at least two types of virtual cards in one or more pre-determined formats; determining a target virtual card where the target virtual card is the virtual card selected in the interface for selecting the virtual card to be activated; acquiring information to be authenticated when the target virtual card requires authentication, and activating the target virtual card when the authentication is passed; and directly activating the target virtual card when the target virtual card does not require the authentication.

METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR CARD ACTIVATION

Method and apparatus for card activation are provided, which belong to computer technology. The method is applied to an intelligent device having a secure element (SE) chip and includes: creating a first background thread during pre-activation operations using a user interface (UI) thread; obtaining a first part of data for the card activation from a server using the first background thread; writing the first part of data to the SE chip using the first background thread; creating a second background thread after the pre-activation operations have been accomplished using the UI thread and the card activation is confirmed; and writing a second part of data for the card activation to the SE chip using the second background thread.

PRESSURE SENSITIVE DEVICE CASINGS TO ENABLE DEVICE FUNCTIONALITY
20170371468 · 2017-12-28 ·

There are provided systems and methods for pressure sensitive device casing to cause device functionality. A computing device, such as a mobile smart phone, may include one or more pressure sensor devices mounted within, surrounding, or nearby structural components of the computing device, such as a device casing. A user may apply pressure input to the structure of the computing device, for example, through touch and force of touch to the device, where the pressure sensor may detect a presence and location of the input. The computing device may include a transaction processing application, where the input may be received during use of the application. The pressure of the input may further define the input for the application. For example, an input with a first pressure may cause a first process to be initiated, while a second pressure may cause a second process to be initiated.

A client device comprises a first secure element and a second secure element. The first secure element comprises a first computer-readable medium having a payment application comprising instructions for causing the client device to initiate a financial transaction. The second secure element comprises a second computer-readable medium having a security key, a payment instrument, stored authentication data and instructions for generating a secure payment information message responsive to the payment application. The secure payment information message comprises the payment instrument and is encrypted in accordance with the security key.

Systems and methods for managing an account

An account is managed using information read from a dual frequency transponder. Information stored on the dual frequency transponder can be read by a NFC-enabled device and by a UHF RFID reader. The information links, corresponds, or otherwise provides access to account information stored at a remote server. For example, a NFC-enabled device can read the information from the dual frequency transponder and use that information to enable instant and on-the-spot recharging of a toll account. In addition, a UHF RFID toll reader can scan information from the dual frequency transponder and use that information to debit toll charges from the correct toll account. The dual frequency transponder can be embedded in a license plate and read using a reader placed in the road. Additionally, the transponder can be configured to function at the correct frequency only when a valid vehicle registration sticker is applied to the license plate.
