Transaction Validation Service
Concepts and technologies are disclosed herein for providing a transaction validation service. A device can receive a request to validate a transaction requested by a user device, where the transaction can be performed by an application and where the request to validate the transaction can be obtained with a first hash that is created by the user device. The first hash can include a hash of transaction data that is hashed using data stored on the user device. The device can receive an indication that the transaction has been approved, obtain a second hash of the transaction data that is hashed using the data stored on the user device, and determine, based on the first hash and the second hash, whether the transaction should be allowed or blocked.
Method, system and computer program product for introducing personalization data in nonvolatile memories of a plurality of integrated circuits
Embodiments of the present disclosure relate to solutions for introducing personalization data in nonvolatile memories of a plurality of integrated circuits, comprising writing in the nonvolatile memory of a given integrated circuit a static data image, corresponding to an invariant part of nonvolatile memory common to the plurality of integrated circuits, and a personalization data image representing data specific to the given integrated circuit.
METHOD AND APPARTUS FOR TRANSMITTING PAYMENT DATA USING A PUBLIC DATA NETWORK
A method for transmitting transaction data using a public data network, comprising the steps of: transmitting primary transaction data from a provider data base via the public data network to a display device connected to the data network and, locally, visually and/or acoustically displaying the primary transaction data thereon, in particular visually on a displayed provider website as bar code or QR code, b1) recording the display and generating a primary transaction file in a user terminal of an access network, or b2) recording the display and generating a primary transaction file in a recording device and then transmitting the primary transaction file to a user terminal of an access network, via a wireless near field data transmitter of the recording device and user terminal, processing the primary transaction file on the user terminal for extracting at least a part of the transaction data, and generating an extract file, inputting an authorization data set of a debit or credit card configured as a smart card and equipped with a wireless near field data transmitter at the user terminal and associating the authorization data set with the extract file, e1) transmitting the extract file and the associated authorization data set from the user terminal to the smart card wirelessly connected thereto, or e2) internally transferring the extract file and the associated authorization data set to the smart card component in the user terminal, f) checking the extract file in conjunction with the authorization data set by a processor of the smart card or smart card component based on comparison data stored thereon and, if correct, outputting a correctness confirmation message to the user terminal or internally in the user terminal, g) generating a secondary transaction file comprising the primary transaction data and user data in the user terminal based on the confirmation message, h) transmitting the secondary transaction file from the user terminal via the access network to an access server in the data network, fetching or receiving a transaction confirmation message from the access server by or at a provider receiver, at least one of visually or acoustically displaying the message on the provider website.
Payment System For Authorizing A Transaction Between A User Device And A Terminal
Methods, apparatus and computer software are provided for authorizing an EMV transaction between a user device and a point of sale terminal, particularly, but not exclusively, in situations where a secure element is not made available for the deployment of a payment application on the user device. The payment application is instead deployed to a processing environment that is outside of any secure element on the user device. The payment application is associated with a certificate and a corresponding hash. The hash is adapted to be generated on the basis of an application expiration date parameter, which is adapted to comprise data indicative of an expiration date of day level granularity associated with the certificate. During processing of the EMV transaction, the point-of-sale terminal verifies the hash, thereby establishing the authenticity of the application expiration date, and hence the validity of the certificate.
Protection of a security element coupled to an NFC circuit
A method and a device for protecting a security module connected to a near-field communication router in a telecommunication device, wherein a transmission between the router and the security module is only allowed in the presence of a radio frequency communication flow detected by the router.
ELECTRONIC DEVICE AND PAYMENT METHOD USING THE SAME
Disclosed is a method for split payment for an online or offline purchase of a service or goods using an electronic device, including receiving a first request in relation to a payment, generating first payment information using a transaction identification corresponding to the payment based on at least the first request, sending the first payment information to an external device, receiving a second request in relation to the payment, generating second payment information using the transaction identification based on at least the second request, and finalizing the payment based on at least the second payment information.
WEARABLE PERSONAL DIGITAL DEVICE FOR FACILITATING MOBILE DEVICE PAYMENTS AND PERSONAL USE
Provided are a wearable personal digital device and related methods. The wearable personal digital device may comprise a processor, a display, biometric sensors, activity tracking sensors, a memory unit, a communication circuit, a housing, an input unit, a projector, a timepiece unit, a haptic touch control actuator, and a band. The processor may be operable to receive data from an external device, provide a notification to a user based on the data, receive a user input, and perform a command selected based on the user input. The communication circuit may be communicatively coupled to the processor and operable to connect to a wireless network and communicate with the external device. The housing may be adapted to enclose the components of the wearable personal digital device. The band may be adapted to attach to the housing and secure the wearable personal digital device on a user body.
ELECTRONIC TICKET MANAGEMENT
A method for providing an electronic ticket by a security element associated with a mobile terminal. The ticket is stored in the mobile terminal and designed to access a service via an access control device. The method includes the following acts by the security element: receiving the electronic ticket originating from the mobile terminal; temporarily storing the electronic ticket in the security element; providing the electronic ticket for the access control device; authenticating taking into account at least one item of data contained in the ticket and one item of data linked to the security element; and deleting the ticket from the memory of the security device.
REAL-TIME CONFIGURABLE SMART CARDS
A method for enabling, via a digital wallet application, a smart card to operate as a primary smart card for a plurality of a user's smart cards. The primary smart card may include a microprocessor, a touch screen, a wireless interface and an embedded subscriber identification module (“E-SIM”) card. The method may include retrieving on the primary smart card, from the digital wallet application, a list of a plurality of smart cards, displaying on the touch screen of the primary smart card, a selectable list of the plurality of smart cards, receiving, via the touch screen, a selected smart card and storing the card data on the E-SIM of the primary smart card. When the primary smart card is within a pre-determined proximity to a point-of-sale (“POS”) device, the primary smart card may be configured to transmit the card payment data stored on the E-SIM to the POS device.
