Mobile electronic device
A mobile electronic device according to an embodiment has an identifier, a determiner, and a permitter. The identifier identifies the operating system of a mobile terminal to which its own device is connected and determines whether the identified operating system is a prescribed operating system. If the identifier determines that the identified operating system is the prescribed operating system, the determiner performs processing to determine whether or not authentication data held in its own device and authentication data held in an authentication data holding device that can communicate via a network match. If the determiner determines that there is a match, the permitter permits data processing using processing data held in a processing data holding device that can communicate via the network.
Systems and Methods for Device Authentication
Systems and methods for device authentication are disclosed. In one embodiment, a method may include (1) an acquirer portion receiving a device credential and a payment credential that were received from the payment application in conjunction with a transaction, the acquirer portion further receiving transaction data for the transaction from the merchant; (2) the acquirer portion performing a first validation assessment on the transaction based on the transaction data and first data retrieved from a first data source; (3) the payment network portion performing a second validation assessment on the transaction based on the transaction data and second data retrieved from a second data source; and (4) the issuer portion identifying and authenticating the customer based on the device credential, the payment credential, and at least one of the first validation assessment and the second validation assessment.
System and method for secure payment processing using subscriber identity module cards
The present disclosure relates generally to electronics systems, and more specifically to mobile communications systems and devices and including subscriber identification modules to which mobile currency, i.e. airtime minutes converted into mobile currency in pre-paid denominations from a telecommunications service provider, may be uploaded and used for payment transactions in a manner that is easier and more secure by providing a system and method related to a mobile phone having one or more subscriber identification module cards.
Mobile payment management
A method for managing mobile payments in a mobile phone. The method includes receiving data associated with a plurality of issuer specific payment services at a mobile phone, selecting one of the issuer specific payment services, and conducting a transaction using the phone.
Method for transmitting data to two distinct gateways, and corresponding device
In the field of payment terminals, a new generation of modular, function-rich payment terminals is appearing. Such smart payment terminals transmit, equally well, data relative to payment transactions and, for example, data relative to software updates. However, at present, a smart payment terminal in incapable of transmitting different data in accordance with their respective transmission constraints. This can represent a considerable cost for the merchant. A communications device is therefore provided to set up two connections simultaneously with two different gateways and thus be capable of exchanging data associated with different transmission parameters. Thus, the communications device can simultaneously transmit data relative to different types of services having distinct transmission parameters.
DEVICE FOR DIRECTLY TRANSMITTING ELECTRONIC COIN DATA RECORDS TO ANOTHER DEVICE, AND PAYMENT SYSTEM
A device for directly transmitting electronic coin data records to another device includes accessing data storage, such that an electronic coin data record is stored in the data storage; an interface at least for outputting the at least one electronic coin data record to the other device; and a computing unit configured to mask the electronic coin data record in the device by applying a homomorphic encryption function to the electronic coin data record to obtain a masked electronic coin data record for registering the masked electronic coin data record at a monitoring entity; and to output the electronic coin data record using the interface. A payment system has a monitoring layer including a database in which masked electronic coin data records are stored; and a direct transaction layer including at least two devices in which the method can be carried out.
Method and System of Authenticating a Payment Transaction Using a User Device
A method and system for authenticating a payment transaction. The method includes receiving a request for verifying a phone number associated with a Subscriber Identification Module card from a merchant application installed in the user device. Further, obtaining a first key from at least one of a server associated with a manufacturer of the user device and a network server. Furthermore, generating a first cryptogram based on at least one of the phone number and a unique identification value associated with the user device using the first key, wherein the first cryptogram is provided to the server associated with the manufacturer for verification. Upon verification of the first cryptogram, the method includes receiving a second cryptogram from the server associated with the manufacturer, wherein the merchant application provides the second cryptogram and payment transaction details to an issuer server for authentication of the payment transaction.
System and method for authentication of a registered mobile subscriber
Briefly, in accordance with one or more embodiments, for example, a method and/or system is provided to at least authenticate a mobile subscriber that has been registered via a registration process comprising. A current international mobile subscriber identifier (IMSI) associated with a mobile telephone number received electronically via a network is queried. A database entry created via the registration process including an IMSI associated with a received mobile telephone number at the time of mobile subscriber registration is also queried. At least the current IMSI and the IMSI of the database entry are compared. Account status of the mobile subscriber based at least in part on a match between the current IMSI and the IMSI of the database entry is verified. Verifying the account status includes determining creditworthiness with respect to the account of the mobile subscriber.
Binding mobile wallet elements with payees
Methods and systems are disclosed for binding a payment element in a mobile wallet operating on a mobile device with a payee. The mobile wallet, can for example, receive an indication from a point of sale (POS) device that a transaction has been completed with a payee associated with the POS device, using a payment element of the mobile wallet. The mobile wallet can query a payment database table with an identifier for the payee and an identifier for the payment element to determine if the payment element has previously been used to complete transactions with the payee. The mobile wallet can bind the payment element to the payee if the payment element has previously been used to complete transactions with the payee and if the payment element is to be bound to the payee. Other systems, methods and apparatuses are also described.
SYSTEM BUILT BY CONNECTION BETWEEN A MOBILE TERMINAL AND A SERVICE PROVIDING DEVICE, AND SERVICE PROVIDING METHOD
The present disclosure provides a system constructed by connecting a mobile terminal and a service providing device, and a service providing method, wherein the service providing device and the mobile terminal are directly connected via an interface of the mobile terminal; the service providing device provides a service independently or through collaboration between the service providing device and various parties such as the mobile terminal and/or the background server based on the service information parsed and extracted the code information, identification information of any one or more parties among the user, the first mobile terminal, and the service providing device, and/or information bound to the identification information. Through active code scanning or passive code scanning or a combination of the two, the present disclosure may conveniently and quickly implement sensing access and effectively enhance security for operations such as mobile payment, etc.
