20170286948 · 2017-10-05 · ·

A contactless payment method, apparatus, and system, belonging to the communications field, where the method includes obtaining a payment amount of a transaction, determining, from limit intervals corresponding to at least two default contactless payment applications, a limit interval within which the payment amount falls, obtaining an application identifier of a first default payment application, where the first default payment application is a default contactless payment application corresponding to the limit interval within which the payment amount falls, and sending the application identifier of the first default payment application to a collection terminal such that the collection terminal completes the transaction with the payment terminal using the payment application corresponding to the application identifier. Problems of a complex payment process and relatively low payment efficiency are resolved, and effects of simplifying a payment process and improving payment efficiency are achieved.

System, method, and apparatus for conducting a secure transaction using a remote point-of-sale system

Provided is a computer-implemented method for conducting a secure payment transaction for a purchase at a merchant using a client device and a remote point-of-sale (POS) system associated with the merchant. The method includes receiving, with a client device, at least one identifier for at least one product to be purchased, the at least one product associated with a transaction value, and detecting a checkout action with the client device. In response to detecting the checkout action, the method includes generating at least one transaction message based on the transaction value of the at least one item to be purchased and at least one account identifier, generating a cryptogram based at least partially on the at least one transaction message and the at least one issuer key, and transmitting the cryptogram to the remote POS system associated with the merchant. A system and computer program product are also disclosed.

Method for securing a transaction from a mobile terminal
11429955 · 2022-08-30 · ·

A method for implementing a transaction from a mobile terminal, which includes a data-processing module and a security element on which a plurality of transaction modules are stored. Each transaction module is associated with an electronic card and suitable for authorizing a transaction on behalf of the electronic card when activated upon presentation of an associated confidential code. The method includes the security element: (a) receiving a transaction request targeting one transaction module of the plurality of transaction modules; (b) receiving, by an authentication module also stored on the security element, a unique valid authentication code obtained via an interface of the terminal, the authentication module storing the confidential codes associated with each of the transaction modules, and being itself capable of being activated upon presenting the authentication code; (c) activating the targeted transaction module by the authentication module, and transmitting a transaction authorization in response to the transaction request.

Payment systems and methods for managing payment card use

A method, at a mobile device, of assigning a preferred payment application stored on the mobile device to a merchant, the method comprising the steps of: receiving a selection of a merchant at the mobile device; receiving a selection of a preferred payment application; and mapping the payment application to the merchant by creating a record containing an application identifier and a merchant identifier.

INTEGRATING CUSTOMER AND/OR MERCHANT FUNCTIONALITY WITH DISCOVERABLE APPLICATIONS

Integrating buyer and/or merchant functionality with discoverable applications is described. In an example, applications associated with a service provider can be stored in a repository associated with the service provider. At least a part of an application of the applications is associated with a particular, discrete functionality. The service provider can determine context data associated with a user computing device and can select, based at least in part on the context data, the application from the applications, wherein at least the part of the application is to be surfaced on the user computing device. The service provider can cause a user interface associated with at least the part of the application to be presented via the user computing device, wherein the user interface enables a user of the user computing device to input data for enabling the particular, discrete functionality, and wherein a portion of the context data is used to customize the user interface for the user.

EMBEDDED APPLICATIONS

Embedding applications, or parts thereof, into other applications, or parts thereof, is described. In an example, an engagement with a first application, or a part thereof, can be detected, which can trigger a second application, or a part thereof, to be initialized in response to the engagement. In at least one example, the first application, or a part thereof, can provisionally transfer to the second application, or a part thereof. Based at least in part on detecting a user interaction with the second application, or a part thereof, a portion of the user interaction can be embedded in the first application, or a part thereof, and the embedded portion of the user interaction can be presented via a user interface associated with the first application, or part thereof, via a user computing device.

APP TO APP PAYMENT
20170221041 · 2017-08-03 · ·

This disclosure relates to facilitating payment by a payer using a payee application installed on a mobile communication device. The device detects an interaction by the payer with respect to the payee application to initiate a payment. In response to detecting the interaction, the device selects one of multiple payment applications installed on the mobile communication device and activates the one of the multiple payment applications to allow the payer to interact with the one of the multiple payment applications using a graphical user interface provided by the one of the multiple payment applications. Finally, the device sends payment data associated with the payment from the payee application to the one of the multiple payment applications to facilitate the payment. The payer can interact with the trusted payment application, which is an advantage over other payment methods where the payer provides credit card numbers directly to the payee.

Credit payment method and apparatus based on card emulation of mobile terminal

Technologies related to mobile credit payment are disclosed. In an implementation, a credit payment request is generated and sent to a user account of a credit payment application (APP) installed on a mobile computing device. A payment response message is then received from the mobile computing device. The payment response message is parsed to identify an APP public key license. A pre-stored credit authorization public key is used to verify the APP public key license and an APP public key is received from the APP public key license if the verification is successful. A payment deduction request is generated and sent to the user account of the credit payment APP. A payment authorization encrypted using asymmetric key encryption is received from the mobile computing device. The APP public key is used to decrypt the payment authorization, and a transaction log is recorded if the second response message is successfully decrypted.

Method to activate electronic payment unit in mobile terminal and activity server thereof

The present invention relates to an electronic payment means activating method and an activating server thereof. In the electronic payment means activating method, a usage approval of the inactive electronic payment means is requested by using first identification information of the inactive electronic payment means and personal user information of the user terminal, the first identification information is authenticated to determine usage approval of the active electronic payment means, a class of a user is detected by using the personal user information, a first parameter value corresponding to the detected class of the user and a usage approval message are provided to the user terminal, the first parameter value is established in the user terminal, the electronic payment means is activated, and a fare according to the first parameter value is paid by the electronic payment means.

System and method for identity verification across mobile applications

Embodiments are directed to methods, apparatuses, computer readable media and systems for authenticating a user on a user device across multiple mobile applications. The identity of the user is validated by encoding and subsequently validating cryptographically encrypted data in a shared data store accessible by the mobile applications tied to the same entity. Specifically, the application leverages the authentication process of a trusted mobile application (e.g. a banking mobile application) to authenticate the same user on a untrusted mobile application (e.g. a merchant mobile application).
