SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR TRANSFERRING VALUES IN REMOTE DATABASES
20220351164 · 2022-11-03 · ·

A method includes receiving a communication identifying a remote database and a first value stored in the remote database that is being transferred to a first entity by a second entity. That first value is capable of being modified by the second entity. Modification of the first value stored in the remote database by the second entity is prevented by identifying an application programming interface allowing operations to be performed on the remote database, and using that API to transfer the first value so as to be associated with one or more other identifiers unknown to the second entity. After modification of the first value stored by the second entity is prevented, a transfer of a second value to a database record associated with the second entity is triggered. Related systems and applications of the method and those systems are also disclosed.

One swipe registration

Disclosed are system and methods for registering an account with a payment service system on behalf of a customer in response to a payment card associated with the customer being used at a point of sale terminal. The system receives payment card information extracted from the payment card when it is swiped at the point of sale terminal. The system also receives a communication identifier that is entered on a user interface of the point of sale terminal or on a user interface of a mobile application on a mobile device of the customer. In response to receiving the payment card information and the communication identifier, the system automatically creates an account for the customer by associating the payment card with the communication identifier without requiring the user to enter details of the payment card to link the payment card to the account.

Method, system and recording medium for payment service

Provided are a method, system, and computer-readable medium for a payment service using a card of an integrated function. A payment service method may include registering a representative card that represents payment tools of a user, the representative card being an electronic card configured to be activated through an application installed in a terminal of the user; activating a payment function of the representative card through the application, the application being associated with a payment service installed in the terminal of the user; setting at least one specific payment tool to be represented by the representative card among the payment tools; and processing a payment using the specific payment tool set in the representative card, in response to a payment request using the representative card.

Transaction risk based token

Embodiments of the invention provision multiple payment tokens on a communication device. The communication device may be provisioned with multiple limited use keys (LUK), each LUK being associated with a specific type of transaction. When the communication device is used for a transaction, the communication device automatically determines a type of the transaction and selects an appropriate LUK based on the determined transaction type. The selected LUK may be used to create a cryptogram, which can be used to verify the transaction.

Device content provisioning system

The present disclosure relates to a method and system for provisioning a portable electronic device comprising a first short-range communications module, with content data from a networked remotely located content provider, using an electronic bridging device. The method comprises the steps of: establishing a first communication channel between a networked electronic bridging device and the portable electronic device, the electronic bridging device comprising a second short-range communications module, and the first communication channel being established using the first and second short-range communications module; establishing a second communication channel between the networked electronic bridging device and the networked remotely located content provider; provisioning the portable electronic device with the content data by transmitting the content data from the remotely located content provider to the portable electronic device using the first and second communication channels.

Methods and devices for subscription offerings

Methods and devices for subscription offerings are disclosed. The device determines a set of subscription-based applications stored on the device and for each of the subscription-based applications, determines a service type. The device then determines a first subscription service to offer the user of the device via a graphical user interface of the device. After receiving acceptance of the offer for the first subscription service from the user, the device automatically establishes a customer account for the first subscription service. Then, the device downloads a first subscription service application, generates login information for the customer account, and performs a login to the customer account with the login information.

Method for administering billing, servicing messaging and payment in digital wallets
09785936 · 2017-10-10 · ·

A digital wallet bill management system runs on centralized processors in operative communication with databases and in networked communication with digital wallet applications, computerized billing systems and payment gateways. Code snippet activators are provided to customers running digital wallet applications on their respective electronic devices. When customers activate the code snippet information, the digital wallet bill management system produces biller e-cards for the digital wallet applications, linking customer accounts to the billing system for the respective customers. The code snippets include biller codes, customer codes and URL addresses, and the system matches the codes with data stored in the database for the respective biller and customer and transmits the biller e-card information to the respective electronic devices for the digital wallet application. The customers use funding e-cards in their digital wallets to produce electronic bill payment records for electronic bills that the system populates using the biller e-cards.

LOCATION-BASED DATA TRACKING FOR DYNAMIC DATA PRESENTATION ON MOBILE DEVICES
20220051311 · 2022-02-17 ·

There are provided systems and methods for location-based data tracking for dynamic data presentation on mobile devices. A user's device may be used to track user data for the user, including locations visited by the user and activities by the user at the locations. These may be correlated to likely behavior by the user at the location so that a predicted activity by the user at a location may be determined. Thus, when a user visits a location, the predicted activity of the user at the location may be determined. Using the predicted activity, application data for an application may be generated and may be dynamically presented through one or more interfaces of the user's device. This may be presented without user input at the location so that the user may quickly perform the activity through the user's device.

REAL-TIME CONFIGURABLE SMART CARDS
20220051248 · 2022-02-17 ·

A method for enabling, via a digital wallet application, a smart card to operate as a primary smart card for a plurality of a user's smart cards. The primary smart card may include a microprocessor, a touch screen, a wireless interface and an embedded subscriber identification module (“E-SIM”) card. The method may include retrieving on the primary smart card, from the digital wallet application, a list of a plurality of smart cards, displaying on the touch screen of the primary smart card, a selectable list of the plurality of smart cards, receiving, via the touch screen, a selected smart card and storing the card data on the E-SIM of the primary smart card. When the primary smart card is within a pre-determined proximity to a point-of-sale (“POS”) device, the primary smart card may be configured to transmit the card payment data stored on the E-SIM to the POS device.

Method and system for conducting financial transaction and non-financial transactions using a wireless device

The present invention relates to a method for conducting transactions, such as standard banking transactions, using a wireless device, such as a cellular telephone, personal digital assistant, and other web-enabled wireless devices utilizing software downloaded to the wireless device.
