DIGITAL ASSET EXCHANGE SYSTEM AND RELATED METHODS
A system is provided as a computer server platform and application programming software installed in primary devices of users for exchanging and trading digital asset securely and anonymously between two users of the system. The digital asset is registered under a device account of a primary device of a user with the system using a unique device account name. The system respects “privacy by design” in GDPR by using device account based-on anonymized data instead of personal account based-on personal data of prior art to ensure the system does not collect, store and process users' personal data in the course of device accounts' set-up and transactions of digital assets.
Authentication and security for mobile-device transactions
A method including collecting transactional information from a mobile application on the mobile device. The mobile device can be used by a user to initiate an activity at a risk moment. The method also can include aggregating a set of risk signals. The method additionally can include obtaining a first set of risk rules for a model specific to the activity requested by the user. Each risk rule of the first set of risk rules can define weights when the risk rule is triggered based on one or more risk signals of the set of risk signals. The method further can include executing a risk engine using the first set of risk rules for the model and using the set of risk signals to generate a risk score. The risk score can be based on the weights of triggered risk rules of the first set of risk rules. The method additionally can include generating a disposition based on a comparison of the risk score to one or more predefined thresholds scores for the model. Other embodiments of related systems and methods are disclosed.
Mobile payment application provisioning and personalization on a mobile device
Embodiments of the present invention are directed to systems and methods for providing a central entity that can provision mobile payment applications on mobile communication devices and personalize the mobile payment applications with consumer and account information. The personalization of the mobile payment application on the mobile communication device may include provisioning a payment account on the mobile payment application. The central entity may provision the account on the mobile payment application without interacting with the issuer during the provisioning of the account. The central entity may provision the account on the mobile communication device by decrypting, using a secure element key, encrypted payment account information received from the mobile communication device. The payment account information may be encrypted by a secure element of the mobile communication device using the same secure element key.
Account registration using a contactless card
Account registration using a contactless card. A payment application executing on a device may receive a request to generate a payment account using a contactless card. The payment application may receive encrypted data from the contactless card and transmit the encrypted data to a server associated with the contactless card. The device may receive a push notification from the server and open an account application associated with the contactless card responsive to selection of the push notification. The account application may receive confirmation to generate the payment account using the contactless card and transmit the confirmation to the server. The device may open the payment application responsive to receiving verification of the encrypted data from the server. The payment application may fill form fields with account data received from the server and generate the payment account using the account data received from the server filled into the form fields.
METHOD AND SYSTEM TO CONTROL PAYMENT TRANSACTIONS IN A PAYMENT CARD USING COMPANION PAYMENT APPLICATION
Embodiments provide methods and systems for controlling payment transactions in a payment card using a companion payment application installed on a user device. The payment application and the payment card may be provided by an issuer server. Using the payment application, the number of transactions allowed on the payment card or an amount limit is set for the payment card. The payment application is used to set, reset, change the value of a counter in the card, which determines the number of allowed transactions. When the user attempts to make a transaction at a POS terminal, the payment card reads the value of counter, and if the value is not equal to a threshold value, the payment card exchanges data with the POS terminal and updates the value of the counter. The payment card is precluded from transaction when value of the counter is equal to threshold value.
Methods, systems and computer readable media for over the air (OTA) provisioning of soft cards on devices with wireless communications capabilities
A soft card provisioning application is instantiated on a device with wireless communications capabilities. A card number for a soft card desired to be provisioned on the device is obtained from a user of the device. An issuer identification number retrieved from the card number is communicated to a provisioning configuration server over an air interface. A provisioning issuer server network address is obtained from the provisioning configuration server based on the issuer identification number. Card issuer specific challenges are presented to the user, and the user's responses to the challenges are received. The challenge responses are communicated to the provisioning issuer server. Soft card image data and personalization data, where the personalization data includes personalized embossed and pre-printed data, are received from the provisioning issuer server over the air interface. The soft card is provisioned for use on the device based on the data received over the air interface.
Offline payment method and device
The present application provides techniques for offline payments. The method includes: receiving an offline payment request for an offline payment through a target payment application, the offline payment being made by a user registered with the target payment application; receiving an identity authentication identifier (ID) of the user; determining that the identity authentication ID of the user matches a stored identity authentication ID previously stored for the user on the computing device; in response to determining that the identity authentication ID matches the stored identity authentication ID, receiving an offline payment certificate issued by the target payment application to the user and stored on the computing device; and providing the offline payment certificate to an offline payment service party of the target payment application, the offline payment service party configured to authorize the offline payment based on the offline payment certificate.
TERMINAL AND OPERATING METHOD THEREFOR
The present invention relates to a terminal and an operating method therefor. The terminal executes a payment function in a first screen mode in which a screen direction of the terminal is a first direction, and can display a default payment card image corresponding to the executed payment function. The terminal transmits card information corresponding to the displayed default payment card image and can recognize that the first screen mode is changed to a second screen mode in which the screen direction of the terminal is a second direction. The terminal can execute an additional function related to a payment according to the transmitted card information in the second screen mode.
SHARING AND USING PASSES OR ACCOUNTS
The present disclosure generally relates to a computer system displaying user interfaces for accessing passes and transfer accounts. In some examples, passes are added to the computer system. In some examples, passes are accessed. In some examples, transfers relating to the passes and transfer accounts are displayed, such as in search user interfaces.
SECURE PRESENTATION OF TRANSACTION CARD DATA OF NUMBERLESS TRANSACTION CARDS
A method for securely presenting transaction card data of a transaction card includes receiving, by a server, a pairing request to pair the transaction card with a user device. Based on the pairing request, the transaction card is paired with the user device by way of a pairing identifier. The server receives, from the user device, a data presentation request to present the transaction card data on the user device. In response to the data presentation request, the server validates the pairing between the user device and the transaction card based on the pairing identifier. The server communicates, to the user device, the transaction card data based on the validation of the pairing between the user device and the transaction card. The communicated transaction card data is presented on a user interface rendered on the user device.
