In some examples, a computing device may receive, from a merchant application on a merchant device, an indication that a buyer has initiated a transaction to purchase an item from a merchant associated with the merchant device. A first fulfilment selection may initially be associated with the transaction. The computing device may determine an association of the buyer with a buyer account. A buyer device having a buyer application executable thereon may be associated with the buyer account. The computing device may send, to the buyer application, transaction information related to the transaction to enable the buyer to pay for the transaction via the buyer application and/or change the fulfilment selection for the transaction. The computing device may receive, from the buyer application, at least one of an indication of authorization of payment for the transaction or an indication of a change to the fulfilment selection.

An audio signal control apparatus includes a sound input circuit, a sound output circuit, and a control circuit. The sound input circuit is configured to receive an ambient sound signal from a microphone that captures ambient sound. The sound output circuit is configured to generate an output sound signal and transmit the output sound signal to a speaker to generate sound based on the output sound signal. The control circuit is configured to determine characteristics of the ambient sound based on the ambient sound signal received by the sound input circuit, determine a frequency band of the sound to be generated by the speaker based on the characteristics of the ambient sound, and control the sound output circuit to generate an output sound signal corresponding to the sound of the determined frequency band.

Multiple parallel delineated topics of a conversation within the same virtual assistant

Provided are embodiments for a computer-implemented method for interacting with a user by an automated response system supporting topic switching and information collection. The computer-implemented method includes receiving a plurality of utterances from the user by the automated response system, and analyzing the utterances to form a first topic thread and an information collection objective. The computer-implemented method also includes utilizing an information collection user interface to gather data to support the information collection objective, and providing responses to the user after the gathered data related to the first topic thread. Also provided are embodiments for a system and computer program product for implementing the techniques described herein.

MULTI-DEVICE VERIFICATION VIA NON-AUDIBLE SOUND

A non-transitory computer-readable storage medium storing computer-readable program code executable by a processor to receive a transaction request from a user interface, and receive a user-identifier from the user interface, and the user-identifier associated with a user. The program code may be executable to send a first non-audible sound signal to initiate a multifactor authentication process during a first interval, and send a second non-audible sound signal during a second interval, where the second non-audible sound signal comprises a predetermined frequency pattern, associated with the user. The program code may also be executable to receive a third non-audible sound signal, where the third non-audible sound signal, at least in part, is utilized to determine whether to complete the transaction request or not. The first non-audible sound signal, the second non-audible sound signal, and the third non-audible sound signal may comprise a frequency greater than 15 kHz.

ENCODING ONE-TIME PASSWORDS AS AUDIO TRANSMISSIONS INCLUDING SECURITY ARTIFACTS
20220044239 · 2022-02-10 ·

An authentication server computing device is provided. The authentication server computing device is configured to receive a transaction request from an audio interface device, generate a first audio file including a first audio transmission, wherein the first audio transmission includes a primary security artifact and at least one secondary security artifact and the primary security artifact is an encoding of a one-time password, store a reference data file including the first audio transmission, transmit the first audio file to a verified user computing device associated with the account identifier, receive a second audio file from the audio interface device, wherein the second audio file includes a second audio transmission, verify the second audio transmission by comparing the second audio transmission to the reference data file including the primary security artifact and the at least one secondary security artifact, and authorize the transaction based on verifying the second audio transmission.
