Embodiments provided herein include systems and methods for providing a tone-based kiosk service. One embodiment of a tone-based kiosk includes a display, a processor, and a memory component. The memory component may be configured to store logic that, when executed by the processor, causes the tone-based kiosk to establish an encrypted connection with the mobile device and broadcast a first tone that includes first encrypted data for rendering a user interface at the mobile device, wherein the first encrypted data includes information related to offerings by the establishment. In some embodiments, the logic causes the tone-based kiosk to provide at least a portion of the user interface for display, receive a second tone that includes second encrypted data that includes instructions navigating the user interface via the mobile phone to create order details for an order, and receive an indication that the order is complete.

A system for registering an individual's biometric data and then later verifying the identity of the individual using the previously registered biometric data makes use of either an audio communications channel or a messaging channel, both of which are accessed via an application programming interface (API). In some instances, spoken audio input is received from the individual and the spoken audio input is used to generate a voice print for the individual. The authentication server computing device is configured to receive a transaction request from an audio interface device, generate a first audio file including a first audio transmission, wherein the first audio transmission includes a primary security artifact and at least one secondary security artifact and the primary security artifact is an encoding of a one-time password, store a reference data file including the first audio transmission, transmit the first audio file to a verified user computing device associated with the account identifier, receive a second audio file from the audio interface device, wherein the second audio file includes a second audio transmission, verify the second audio transmission by comparing the second audio transmission to the reference data file including the primary security artifact and the at least one secondary security artifact, and authorize the transaction based on verifying the second audio transmission.

A device and associated methods for entering a PIN via tapping are disclosed. The device can be configured to determine a number of taps provided by a PIN holder on a touch sensor in representation of a PIN digit and to store the number of taps as a digit in a sequence that represents the PIN. Indications for interaction with the device can be provided to PIN holders in the form of auditory cues. A visually impaired PIN holder may be able to complete a PIN entry process by following the indications for interaction, tapping on a touch sensor a number of times equal to the value of the digit of the PIN to be entered, and performing gestures mapped to commands for the device.

The method comprises: receiving by an authentication system, a request to create an online account with an online server; generating a visual graphical code by the authentication system, which is displayed on a display screen and comprises a validation identity; acquiring image data of the visual graphical code from a user device with aid of optical detection apparatus, by capturing an image of the visual graphical code displayed on the display screen; processing the image data to extract the validation identity; based on the validation identity identifying an online serve provider associated with the online server and user information categories associated with the online account; and based on identification information related to the user identifying the user, and the data to the online server for the online account with the online server.

An ambient transaction system is described for facilitating various transactions types between a management system and a connected device over a transaction platform. Based on a variety of different triggering conditions, the transaction platform may establish an integrated session among the transaction platform, the management system, and the connected device. The transaction platform includes integrated logic of the management system such that a presentment layer provided to the connected device by the transaction platform via the integrated session includes features of the management system associated with the transaction type. When the transaction is a payment transaction, the features may include a payment feature through which checkout options may be selected for payment via the connected device. Upon receiving a payment selection from the connected device, the transaction platform may transmit the payment information to a payment processing system, and provide payment confirmation to at least the management system.

A method for facilitating transfer of data by using sound is provided. The method includes receiving, via a graphical user interface, a request, the request relating to a transfer of a file; retrieving the file from a memory; encrypting, by using a token, the retrieved file; encoding the encrypted file into sound data, the sound data relating to an audio file format; and converting, via a first electroacoustic transducer, the encoded sound data into an acoustic wave.
