Image data extraction for transaction management
Techniques are described for migrating information from a first account to a second account, based on analyzed image(s) of document(s). Image(s) of a document may be generated using an image capture device of a smartphone or other portable computing device. The image(s) may be analyzed, through pattern recognition analysis or barcode scanning, to extract the information from the image(s). The information may then be employed to schedule a transaction, such as payment of a bill described in the information. In some instances, the extracted information may be used as part of an account migration process, in which transactions are migrated from a first account to a second account.
Security and fraud prevention techniques based on detection of a transaction card in an image
In some implementations, a transaction card security system may detect a transaction card in an image, and may perform image processing to identify one or more character sequences or one or more designs that appear on the transaction card. The one or more character sequences or the one or more designs may identify an institution associated with the transaction card and/or a cardholder associated with the transaction card. The transaction card security system may identify the institution or the cardholder associated with the transaction card based on the one or more character sequences or the one or more designs, and may perform one or more actions relating to security of the transaction card based on detecting the transaction card in the image and identifying the institution or the cardholder associated with the transaction card.
Point of Sale Payment Method
The present disclosure describes making a payment transaction between a customer and a merchant using a payment card of the customer including: transmitting details of the payment transaction from a mobile device to a remote server; capturing at least one image of the payment card using the mobile device of the merchant; transmitting the at least one image of the payment card to the remote server; identifying, by the remote server, the merchant and the payment card captured in the at least one image; and implementing the payment transaction between bank accounts of the customer and the merchant.
SMART DATA CABLE FOR POINT OF SALE SYSTEMS
Various embodiments are described herein that relate to network-connected data cables (i.e., “smart” data cables) that are connected to a merchant's point of sale system and a receipt printer. When a transaction is initiated at the point of sale system, transaction data is created by the point of sale system and passed to the smart data cable for transmission downstream to the receipt printer. The smart data cable can parse the transaction data, copy certain elements from the transaction data, and transmit the copied elements to a cloud-based platform that processes the transaction. For example, the cloud-based platform may compare the copied elements to information supplied by the customer through a messaging application executing on the customer's user device. The information may be provided by the customer to a chat bot that is supported by the cloud-based platform.
System and method for cashless exchange at table games
A system includes a smart table that defines a plurality of player positions and that includes a plurality of wireless sensors. Each wireless sensor is associated with a respective player position of the plurality of player positions. The system is configured to determine, using a wireless sensor of the plurality of wireless sensors, that the mobile computing device is located proximate a wireless sensor of the plurality of wireless sensors. The system is further configured to control the wireless sensor to establish a wireless connection between the wireless sensor and the mobile computing device, and receive, from the mobile computing device, via the wireless connection, a player identifier. In addition, the system is configured to determine the respective player position associated with the wireless sensor, in response to determining the respective player position and based on the player identifier, associate the player with the respective player position within a table management database.
IMAGE PRINTING SYSTEM, IMAGE PRINTING METHOD, AND PAYMENT MACHINE
An image printing system includes a plurality of image printing apparatuses each configured to accept a print order and print the image data, a payment machine performing a billing process, and a ticketing machine. If payment at the payment machine is selected, the image printing apparatus issues a first ticket and transmits order details to the payment machine. If payment at a counter is selected, the image printing apparatus 1 transmits second key information to the ticketing machine. After performing a billing process, the payment machine issues a third ticket on which first key information is printed and transmits the first key information to the image printing apparatus. The ticketing machine issues a fourth ticket including the second key information. The image printing apparatus prints the image data if accepting input of the key information printed on the third ticket or the fourth ticket.
INTERACTIVE IMAGE-BASED COMMUNICATION USING IMAGE CODING
Embodiments of a system and method for interactive barcode communication are described. In one embodiment, a mobile device presents a barcode to an information or transaction receptacle associated with the point of entry device. One embodiment provides for a method of transmitting data from an unconnected point of access device using an interactive barcode communication system on a mobile device, where the method comprises accessing a set of data on a point of access device, wherein the point of access device is unconnected from a data network with access to a central system database; dividing the set of data into multiple sections; incorporating the multiple sections into scan images for display during per-user transactions at the point of access device; and displaying the point of access data along with per-user transaction data during an interactive barcode communication transaction.
Classic Car Restoration Services Systems and Methods
The invention relates to classic car restoration services systems and methods, and, more particularly to classic car restoration services interfacing systems and methods allowing classic car facilities and enthusiasts to document, represent to prospective buyers, acquire classic cars and to facilitate their restorations.
SECURE COMMUNICATIONS BETWEEN FUELING STATION COMPONENTS
A selection of a fueling station item, graphically depicted on a display of a fuel dispenser and corresponding to an available fueling station product, can be received by at least one data processor of a fuel dispenser. A two dimensional barcode based on the selected fueling station item can be determined. The two dimensional barcode can be provided to the fuel dispenser display for graphical depiction on the fuel dispenser display.
Mobile Payment Handover for Self Service Terminals
Disclosed herein are system, method, and computer program product embodiments for mobile payment handover for self-service terminals. An embodiment operates by generating handover data configured to instruct a user device to settle an amount due. The embodiment further operates by obtaining an electronic confirmation that the amount due has been settled. Subsequently, the embodiment operates by determining that the amount due has been settled responsive to the electronic confirmation.
