INCREMENTAL ENROLMENT ALGORITHM
A method of incrementally enrolling a user's fingerprint onto a payment card includes authorising a predetermined number of transactions using the payment card with a non-biometric verification, such as a PIN, where the user presents their finger to an onboard biometric sensor of the payment card during each authorisation, and then generating a biometric template for the user's fingerprint using fingerprint data collected from each of the authorisations.
Storage of credential service provider data in a security domain of a secure element
Systems, methods, and computer-readable media for efficiently storing credential service provider data in a security domain of a secure element of an electronic device are provided. In one example embodiment, an electronic device may include a secure element that, inter alia, receives credential service provider data from a secure element vendor subsystem, and that encrypts a key of the secure element with the received credential service provider data. The electronic device may also include a communications component that transmits the encrypted key to a credential service provider. Additional embodiments are also provided.
Replacing token on a multi-token user device
Embodiments of the invention are directed to methods, systems, and devices for replacing a token on a user device, such as a transaction card. The transaction card includes tokens representing an actual account identifier which is not visible on the transaction card. The transaction card may store a first token on a and include a digital display that displays a second token. When the first token or the second token is compromised, the compromised token is replaced without replacing the transaction card. When the second token is compromised, the compromised token is replaced with a new replacement second token using an electronic device. The replacement second token replaces the old second token on the digital display. After the second token is compromised and before the replacement second token is provisioned on the transaction card, the transaction card may still be used for transactions using other tokens provisioned on the card.
Device configured for dynamic software change
Devices, systems and methods for reconfigurable and/or updatable lightweight embedded devices or systems are disclosed. Via use of such a device, system, or method, various capabilities for a user are provided, simplified, secured, and/or made more convenient. The system may interact with various other devices or systems, including those that are cloud-based or communicate through the cloud, and may utilize various local sensors, in order to provide one or more of improved access, monitoring, diagnostics, and so forth.
DIGITAL IDENTITY MANAGEMENT DEVICE
An identity management device and system. The device comprises a processor operably coupled to a memory, a display, and a communication interface. The device can have stored thereupon instructions that, when executed by processor, cause the processor to implement a user device interface configured to receive, from user device through the communication interface and store in the memory, at least one identification record comprising visually depictable identification data and a user interface configured to update the display to depict the visually depictable identification data. The identification record can comprise authentication data. Authentication data can be displayed on the device or securely transmitted.
TECHNIQUES TO PERFORM APPLET PROGRAMMING
Various embodiments are generally directed to techniques provide applets to transaction card. In embodiments, a transaction card may receive an applet signed with a verification signature. The transaction card may determine whether the verification signature matches one of the verification values stored on the memory, enable the applet including the instructions for execution by the processing circuitry in response to the determination the verification signature matches one of the verification values, and prevent enablement of the applet including the instructions for execution in response to the determination the verification signature does not match any of the verification values.
Software assurance and trust in a distributed delivery environment
A device may receive information regarding a software environment and/or one or more modules associated with the software environment; receive information regarding one or more compliance requirements; determine one or more smart contracts based on the information regarding the one or more compliance requirements and the information regarding the software environment and/or the one or more modules associated with the software environment; obtain data regarding the software environment and/or the one or more modules; determine, using the one or more smart contracts, whether the data satisfies the one or more compliance requirements; and add at least part of a block, to a blockchain, to indicate whether the data satisfies the one or more compliance requirements, for realization of a reward or penalty associated with the one or more compliance requirements.
Methods and systems for biometric card enrollment
Methods, apparatus and systems for allowing users to easily and securely enroll directly into a newly issued biometric payment card. In an embodiment, a user is provided with a biometric payment card enrollment package that includes a biometric payment card, an energy sleeve having a power source and at least a front wall and a rear wall defining an opening for accepting the biometric payment card therein, and at least one light-emitting diode (LED). The power source includes circuitry to provide power to an EMV chip of the biometric payment card when the biometric payment card is seated therein, and to provide power to the LED during a biometric enrollment process. In some embodiments, a software development kit (SDK) provided by the issuer of the biometric payment card provides support and guidance which enables the user to enroll directly into the biometric payment card.
Augmented reality card activation experience
Various embodiments are generally directed to enhancing a card activation experience for an authorized card user when activating a new card by at least displaying various types of information related to the new card in augmented reality (AR) and allowing the user to perform the activation itself or experience other aspects of the activation process in AR. Information pertaining the successful activation of the card may also be provided to the user in AR.
Systems and methods for configuring resource transfers
A computer-implemented method is disclosed. The method includes: receiving, via a client device, a request to configure a resource transfer of a first type; determining a first set of themes associated with resource transfers of the first type; and providing, for display on the client device, a user interface for configuring the resource transfer with theme data for a theme, wherein providing the user interface includes: displaying at least a subset of the first set of themes; receiving, via the client device, a selection of one of the themes of the displayed subset; obtaining an indication of available multimedia content items associated with the selected theme; and graphically presenting user interface elements corresponding to the multimedia content items via the user interface.
