SWITCH CARD OR DEVICE AND SYSTEM WITH MULTIPLE SECURE ELEMENTS
A device, such as a flexible card, may include a secure element to store first card information, a second secure element to store second card information, and a slider to select between secure elements.
ON-DEMAND PAYMENT GENERATION TRANSACTION SYSTEMS
Methods and systems for generating on-demand payment instruments are described. A user with a user payment account may perform a transaction with a user device and request an on-demand payment instrument. The request may be communicated to a transaction device. The transaction device may authenticate the request and associate an on-demand payment instrument to the user payment account. Information associated with the on-demand payment instrument information may then be tokenized and communicated to the user device, the merchant, or another party and the information may be entered and/or processed for the transaction.
System, method, and apparatus for a dynamic transaction card
A dynamic transaction card that includes a number of layers, each of which may be interconnected to one another. For example, a dynamic transaction card may include an outer layer, a potting layer, a sensor layer, a display layer (including, for example, LEDs, a dot matrix display, and the like), a microcontroller/microprocessor storing firmware, Java applets, Java applet integration, and the like, an EMV processor, an energy storage component, one or more antenna (e.g., Bluetooth antenna, NFC antenna, and the like), a power management component, a flexible printed circuit board (PCB), a chassis, and/or a card backing layer. A display layer may include enhanced features such as the use of LED display components as a photosensor.
Implicit file creation in APDU scripts
A secure element (30) has a local store of file property data (50). A method of preparing a script to send to the secure element (30) to remotely provision a profile (31) at the secure element includes preparing the script such that the script lacks a command to create a file if the local store of file property data (50) at the secure element includes file property data which can be used to locally create that file. A script may include an entry of reduced length which refers to the file to be locally created, such as a SELECT FILE command and an identifier of the file.
Configuring a set of applets on a battery-less transaction card
A transaction card may power on the transaction card using electric current induced from an interaction of the transaction card with an electromagnetic field. The transaction card may establish a communication with a device. The communication may indicate that the transaction card has powered. The transaction card may receive, from the device, a set of instructions to configure a set of applets on the transaction card after notifying the device that the transaction card has powered on. The set of applets to be configured may be related to completing one or more different transactions. The set of applets to be configured may be different than another set of applets already configured on the transaction card. The transaction card may configure the set of applets on the transaction card according to the set of instructions after receiving the set of instructions.
Dynamic transaction card protected by gesture and voice recognition
A dynamic transaction card that includes a number of layers, each of which may be interconnected to one another, is disclosed. The dynamic transaction card may include an outer layer, a potting layer, a sensor layer, a display layer (including, for example, LEDs, a dot matrix display, and the like), a microcontroller storing firmware, Java applets, Java applet integration, and the like, an EMV chip, an energy storage component, one or more antennas (e.g., Bluetooth antenna, NFC antenna, and the like), a power management component, a flexible printed circuit board (PCB), a chassis, and/or a card backing layer. The dynamic transaction card may be activated by authenticating the card user through user authentication input recognition, which may be gesture and/or voice recognition processing.
Transaction Device Management
There is provided a computer-implemented method for management of a transaction device with a contactless interface, the method being performed by a mobile device. The method comprises accessing a mobile service application installed on the mobile device, authenticating a user at the mobile device, establishing a management operation associated with the transaction device. The method further comprises the mobile device requesting a response from the transaction device associated with the management operation via the contactless interface, the transaction device generating the response and providing it to the mobile device; and the mobile service application using the response to effect the management operation. There is also provided a suitably configured mobile device and transaction device for performance of the above-described methods.
TECHNIQUES TO PERFORM APPLET PROGRAMMING
Various embodiments are generally directed to techniques provide applets to transaction card. In embodiments, a transaction card may receive an applet signed with a verification signature. The transaction card may determine whether the verification signature matches one of the verification values stored on the memory, enable the applet including the instructions for execution by the processing circuitry in response to the determination the verification signature matches one of the verification values, and prevent enablement of the applet including the instructions for execution in response to the determination the verification signature does not match any of the verification values.
WALLET ASSEMBLY
A wallet assembly wherein a biometric credit card and enrollment key are positioned in the wallet to enable transfer of electric power.
Modifying existing instruments without issuance of new physical card
The present disclosure involves systems, software, and computer implemented methods for automatically modifying a payment instrument type of a user. One example method comprises receiving, via a communications module, a first signal including an indication of acceptance associated with a particular product selected from a set of potential products for replacing a current product associated with a first customer. At least one term or condition associated with the selected product is identified that is different than the terms or conditions associated with the at least one current product. The terms and conditions associated with the at least one current product associated with the first customer are automatically modified to correspond with the at least one different identified term or condition associated with the selected product, wherein modifying the terms or conditions does not change a unique identifier associated with the at least one current product being modified.
