The first encryption data generated by performing a first encryption of specific card information or alternative information corresponding to the card information. A second storage unit for storing card related data including storage location data of the specific first encryption data and seed data in the first storage unit. A user input unit for receiving a user's operation. A first control unit for generating token data by performing a second encryption of the first encryption data corresponding to the selected card using the seed data. A second control unit for making a request to the first control unit for the token data. A card data output unit for externally outputting the token data.

Magnetic Strip Modification
20170359325 · 2017-12-14 ·

Systems and arrangements for providing secure event processing by modifying a magnetic strip, chip, or the like, on a device are provided. In some examples, a device may include a magnetic strip that may be encoded with a first identifier. The first identifier may be a string of characters and may include a key. Upon using the device, the data from the magnetic strip may be read and the first identifier may be retrieved. The system may process the retrieved first identifier to extract the key which may be used to retrieve user and/or account information. In some arrangements, the account information may be used to process the event and a second identifier, may be generated. The device may be modified to include the second identifier, which may be used in processing a subsequent event. In some examples, the first identifier may be deleted from the device.

Method of accessing applications in a secure mobile environment

A method of accessing, in a mobile communication device, an application issued by a Service Provider from a trusted application, also known as a wallet. A secure element, such as a SmartMX device, comprises a service manager that manages the application and a link between the application and an application-codec issued by the Service Provider, wherein the application-codec is designed for interfacing between the service manager and the application, for processing an access request requesting access to the application received from the service manager and, triggered by the wallet, accessing the application via the service manager by means of the link between the application and the application-codec, such that the application-codec linked with the respective application performs accessing the application under control of the service manager.

Systems and Methods for Provisioning Transaction Data to Mobile Communications Devices

The system comprises approving a credit application during a single http session, transmitting an encoded secure token to a web-client participating in the http session, receiving from the mobile communications device the secure token, and transmitting the transaction account data to the mobile communications device, in response to the receiving the secure token. The system may further comprise the mobile communications device decoding the secure token.

AUTOMATED REISSUANCE SYSTEM FOR PREPAID DEVICES
20170344978 · 2017-11-30 ·

Described herein is a system for automatically reissuing a prepaid device for an expired account upon detecting a funding event associated with the expired account. An account may be expired upon determining that one or more expiration conditions have been met. An event handler may be configured to receive events. Upon identifying a funding event associated with an expired account, the event handler may initiate a reissuance process for a prepaid device associated with the account.

Configuring a set of applets on a battery-less transaction card

A transaction card may power on the transaction card using electric current induced from an interaction of the transaction card with an electromagnetic field. The transaction card may establish a communication with a device. The communication may indicate that the transaction card has powered. The transaction card may receive, from the device, a set of instructions to configure a set of applets on the transaction card after notifying the device that the transaction card has powered on. The set of applets to be configured may be related to completing one or more different transactions. The set of applets to be configured may be different than another set of applets already configured on the transaction card. The transaction card may configure the set of applets on the transaction card according to the set of instructions after receiving the set of instructions.

IC chip, information processing apparatus, system, method, and program

An IC chip, an information processing apparatus, system, method, and program are provided. An IC chip includes an authentication control unit configured to authenticate a request using authentication information. The request and/or the authentication information is received from outside the IC chip.

A method of authorising enrolment of an RFID device including a biometric sensor may include separately sending the RFID device and an authorisation code associated with the RFID device to the user. The RFID device is configured such that, when the user presents the RFID device to an RFID terminal and inputs the authorisation code to the terminal, the RFID device will enter an enrolment mode during which the user is authorised to enrol their biometric data.

NFC enabled card for consumer accessibility
11501283 · 2022-11-15 · ·

A contactless card useful for adjusting the operation, configuration, and/or performance of a secondary device is described. The contactless card is equipped with a communication interface which allows the contactless card to transmit information to the secondary device using NFC signals. The contactless card stores accommodation information related to a physical accommodation desired by the user and transmits that information in the form of an accommodation message to the secondary device after being placed in a NFC field generated by the secondary device. In some embodiments, the contactless card requests an authentication certificate in order to determine a degree of trust prior to sending an accommodation message. In some embodiments, the contactless card may adjust what accommodation information is included in the accommodation message based on the authentication certificate received from the secondary device.

REAL-TIME CONFIGURABLE SMART CARDS
