Virtual credential authentication based on browsing context
In some implementations, an authentication device may receive information related to website browsing activity at a client device. The information related to the website browsing activity may include information associated with a web address for a current website where information associated with a virtual credential was entered. The authentication device may identify one or more valid web addresses associated with the virtual credential, which may be valid only for an entity associated with the one or more valid web addresses. The authentication device may transmit, to the client device, information to indicate whether the website browsing activity is authenticated based on a comparison of the web address for the current website where the information associated with the virtual credential was entered and the one or more valid web addresses associated with the virtual credential.
PEER-TO-PEER SELECTABLE DIGITAL MONEY SYSTEM
A digital currency system that may make use of a distributed network in validating coin ownership as part of processing of transactions of coins of the currency. Compute devices may include both wallet modules and teller modules, with the wallet modules used for user access to digital currency related functions and the teller modules used for processing transactions of the many users. The system may provide automatic denomination coin unit change. The digital currency may be transformed into a physical representation. The digital currency may be virtual currency or cryptocurrency.
SYSTEM FOR PAYMENT VIA ELECTRONIC WALLET
A method includes receiving a request to process, against an electronic wallet, a portion of a transaction, an electronic wallet optionally comprising a sub-wallet, the transaction processed against the wallet and/or sub-wallet. The method further includes identifying one or more electronic value tokens in the e-wallet and/or sub-wallet that, when used together, will cover the portion of the transaction. The method further includes applying the electronic value tokens to the portion of the transaction.
Provisioning of secure application
Methods and devices for provisioning a secure application on an electronic device with first issuer data for a first issuer are described. In an embodiment, the provisioning system receives and stores first issuer records. The example provisioning system receives a provisioning request to provision the secure application with the first issuer data. The provisioning request includes identifying information. The example provisioning system evaluates the provisioning request based on at least one of the first issuer evaluation criteria, the first issuer records and the identifying information in the provisioning request. When the provisioning request satisfies the first issuer evaluation criteria, the example provisioning system generates a signal using the communication module to provide the first issuer data to the electronic device to provision the secure application on the electronic device.
Digital wallet for the provisioning and management of tokens
Disclosed are methods and systems for associating payment card credentials with a companion application. In an embodiment, a consumer's mobile device processor receives an instruction to launch a companion application, displays a companion application user interface, and receives selection of an option to obtain payment card credentials from at least one wallet application. The process also includes displaying a list of payment card accounts associated with the selected wallet application for association with the companion application, receiving a selection of at least one payment card account, transmitting payment account credentials of the selected payment account to a wallet server computer, receiving a companion token representing a digitization of the selected payment card account from the wallet server computer, and associating the companion token with the companion application.
Systems and methods for tokenization, management, trading, settlement, and retirement of renewable energy attributes
Systems and methods for tokenization, management, trading, settlement, and retirement of renewable energy attributes are disclosed. In one embodiment, in an information processing apparatus comprising at least one computer processor, a method for tokenization, management, trading, settlement, and retirement of renewable energy attributes may include: (1) identifying renewable energy generation data associated with a seller to tokenize; (2) generating at least one renewable energy token for the identified renewable energy generation data; (3) writing the renewable energy token to a first distributed ledger; (4) adding the renewable energy token to a digital wallet for the seller; (5) exchanging the renewable energy token for a cash token owned by a buyer by associating the renewable energy token with the buyer and associating the cash token with the seller on the first distributed ledger; and (6) retiring the renewable energy token.
SYSTEM FOR OFF-CHAIN MANAGEMENT, DISTRIBUTION AND AUDITING OF DECENTRALIZED CRYPTOCURRENCY
A system for off-chain management, distribution and auditing of decentralized cryptocurrency is provided. The system enables an organization to mint off-chain, centrally controlled tokens for internal distribution within the organization. The system allows these tokens to be assigned an underlying value in a cryptocurrency and to be associated with distribution rules and withdrawal rules. When a token is distributed to an employee, it does not guarantee that the employee will receive the underlying value in the cryptocurrency. Instead, the token represents the employee's ability to withdraw up to the assigned underlying value in the cryptocurrency, which the organization can approve, adjust or deny. When the organization approves an employee's withdrawal of a token's underlying value, the system can manage the distribution of the token's underlying value to the employee's cryptocurrency wallet and can provide functionality for tracking, reporting and auditing such transactions.
GENERATING A TOKEN FOR A CONTINGENT ASSET
A method for utilizing an object distributed ledger executed by a computing entity includes obtaining, in accordance with a securely passing process, control over a secure first pending transaction associated with a transaction item. The method further includes determining a set of candidate contingent assets for the secure first pending transaction based an identity of the transaction item, an identity of a requesting computing entity, and an authenticated value of the transaction item. The method further includes facilitating selection of at least one candidate contingent asset of the set of candidate contingent assets utilizing an asset selection approach to produce a set of selected contingent assets. The method further includes generating a non-fungible token (NFT) in accordance with the securely passing process to represent a corresponding set of smart contracts of the set of selected contingent assets in the object distributed ledger.
DYNAMICALLY SHARING AN EXCHANGE ITEM
A method includes receiving, by a marketplace server, a sharing request regarding an exchange item from a first computing device, where the sharing request indicates a sharing approach for sharing the exchange item with one or more other computing devices and includes dynamic exchange item information generated by the first computing device. The method further includes verifying, by the marketplace server, the dynamic exchange item information received from the first computing device. When the verification is favorable, the method includes generating shared exchange item security parameters for the one or more other computing devices, generating shared exchange item information in accordance with the sharing approach, and sending the shared exchange item security parameters and the shared exchange item information to the one or more other computing devices for facilitating utilization of the exchange item by the one or more other computing devices in accordance with the shared approach.
Method and system for enabling merchants to share tokens
One embodiment of the present disclosure provides a system and associated processes for sharing cardholder data (CHD) between a merchant that utilizes tokenization and a second merchant that may or may not utilize tokenization. In one embodiment, the merchant, or an employee of the merchant, can use the system and associated processes to reacquire CHD from a tokenization provider system. In one embodiment, the merchant identifies to the tokenization provider system a desire to share CHD, which is associated with a token, with a second merchant. The merchant and/or the tokenization provider system can then invite the second merchant to register with the tokenization provider system. Once registered with the tokenization provider system, the second merchant can access any CHD that the merchant associated with the second merchant.
