Methods and architecture for cashless system security
Methods for secure transactions between gaming machines and portable devices are described. A logic device, separate from a master gaming controller on the gaming machine and placed in the gaming machine, may be operable to authenticate a portable device, such as a smart card, and authorize transactions involving transfers of indicia of credit between the portable device and the gaming machine. The logic device may be operable to send authentication information relating to the portable device to a remote host where a value amount of transactions involving the portable device authorized by the logic device may be higher when the logic device and the remote host authenticate the portable device as opposed to when the portable device is only authenticated by the logic device.
SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR CRYPTOGRAPHIC TRANSACTIONS
A system and method for handling crypto-asset transactions includes: receiving from a payment processing system an electronic transaction request including: a payment token corresponding to a payment identifier associated with the customer account, and a transaction amount in a fiat currency; determining current price data corresponding to a first crypto-asset and a second crypto-asset associated with the customer account; associating the electronic transaction request with at least one data processing task for executing at least one crypto-asset transaction; and when at least one crypto-asset confidence condition is satisfied based on the current price data of at least one of the first crypto-asset or the second crypto-asset, generating signals for providing, via the payment processing system, an indication that the electronic transaction request is authorized without waiting for confirmation of execution of the at least one crypto-asset transaction in the respective distributed ledger.
SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR COMPOSITE CRYPTOGRAPHIC TRANSACTIONS
A composite cryptographic data structure is described, and corresponding methods, systems, and computer readable media. The composite cryptographic data structure is instantiated based on an underlying set of cryptographic tokens (e.g., blockchain/distributed ledger tokens) that, in some embodiments, are transferrable through on-chain transactions established on one or more distributed ledger networks. Identity validation, in some embodiments, may occur at one of composite cryptographic data structure instantiation or composite cryptographic data structure redemption, or both, through the use of a whitelist or a blacklist data structure.
METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR ALLOCATING VIRTUAL RESOURCES
This specification describes techniques for allocating virtual resources based on user behavior, such as interface gestures or physical movement of a device. One example method includes: displaying, by a client device, an interface for allocating virtual resources to a first account; identifying, by the client device, a predetermined operation behavior performed by a user operating the interface; obtaining, by the client device, a behavior parameter value based on the user's performance of the predetermined operation behavior; and allocating, by the client device, an amount of virtual resources corresponding to the behavior parameter value to the first account from a second account.
Hacker-resistant balance monitoring
Methods of and systems for securely monitoring a balance of a payment account include storing, in a first database, ledger data and storing, in a second database, wallet data. Wallet data includes a wallet balance value for the payment account. When a transaction is initiated using the payment account, an access operation is performed on the wallet table. Illicit or improper modifications can be detected by deriving a ledger comparison value from the ledger data and comparing the derived ledger comparison value to a wallet comparison value from the wallet data.
METHOD FOR PROCESSING TRANSACTIONS USING BLOCKCHAIN NETWORKS, AND TRANSACTION MANAGEMENT SERVER USING THE SAME
A method of handling transactions using blockchain networks is provided. The method includes steps of: a transaction-managing server (a) if requests for registering transactions are acquired, confirming each validity of each of said transactions and queueing each of said transactions in case it is determined as valid; (b) classifying the queued transactions such that each of the queued transactions corresponds to each of the blockchain networks per each of channels; and (c) by transmitting each of the classified queued transactions to each of the blockchain networks, instructing each of the blockchain networks to convert the classified queued transactions per each of the channels into one representative transaction per each of the channels, and if a distributive consensus on the converted representative transaction is reached, allowing one block including the classified queued transactions corresponding to said one representative transaction to be registered in one of distributed ledgers.
AUTOMATIC TRANSACTION DEVICE AND AUTOMATIC TRANSACTION SYSTEM
An automatic transaction device that performs an exchange transaction to exchange cash of a first currency to cash of a second currency, the automatic transaction device includes: a reader section that reads medium-held information held on a medium and including at least information to identify an individual user; a first storage section that stores separately for each user a transaction amount of the exchange transaction that has been performed; and a controller that, based on the medium-held information read using the reader section, acquires a past transaction amount for the corresponding user stored in the first storage section, and performs control to cancel a current exchange transaction according to whether or not a total of the past transaction amount plus a total of a transaction amount of a current exchange transaction exceeds a predetermined upper limit amount.
Healthcare Syndicate Electronic Token
Embodiments provide an improved healthcare system that includes a two-tiered healthcare cryptocurrency used to digitally execute healthcare payment transactions between consumers and healthcare provides. The embodiments are directed to systems and methods for executing the healthcare payment transactions using the two-tiered healthcare cryptocurrency. The systems and methods deposit, by a healthcare service application, a sum of healthcare cryptocurrency to the healthcare service account of the user. The systems and methods receive by the user from a healthcare provider, through a user interface to the healthcare service application, a payment request for a health related service in a specified amount of the healthcare cryptocurrency. The systems and methods transmit by the user to the healthcare provider, through the user interface, a confirmation of the payment request in the specified amount. The systems and methods transfer, by the healthcare service application, the specified amount from the healthcare service account of the user to the healthcare service account of the healthcare provider. The systems and methods record, by the healthcare service application, the given health related service, the healthcare provider, and the specified amount in the blockchain.
System and Method for Performing Transactions With Exchangeable Cryptocurrency and Legal Tender Currency
A system and method for performing transactions with exchangeable cryptocurrency and legal tender, and more particularly relates to system and method that utilizes a complementary legal tender currency subsystem for operating a banking module, a vaulting module, a legal tender fund module that has accounting information for complementary legal tender, a cache fund module, a crypto-currency module that has accounting information for virtual monetary tokens, a crypto-shares module that has accounting information for virtual share tokens, an escrow fund module, a trust fund module, a payment processing module, banking module, and vaulting module. The modules store, exchange, and maintain accounts for cryptocurrency and legal tender through a payment processing module. The payment processing module allows a customer and manager to transact for products and services through legal tender and cryptocurrency; and then generate revenue for the merchant through affiliate profits, trading the currencies for profit, and lower transaction fees.
System and method for managing transactional interoperability amongst blockchains
Disclosed is system and method for managing transactional interoperability amongst plurality of blockchains, the plurality of blockchains comprising a non-host blockchain and a host blockchain. The server arrangement is configured to append a first transaction to the non-host blockchain, first transaction comprising metadata pertaining to the user transaction, append a second transaction to the host blockchain, the second transaction comprising the first hash address, wherein second transaction triggers an initial smart contract of the host blockchain to store an operational information response at a second hash address in the distributed file storage system; append a third transaction to non-host blockchain, the third transaction comprising the second hash address, append a fourth transaction in the host blockchain, fourth transaction comprising third hash address, wherein the fourth transaction triggers initial smart contract of the host blockchain to update user wallet account based on output generated from the execution of user transaction.
